- Let me show you how I install mini two strand twists on natural hair. These are the easiest and healthiest protective style! Two strand twists have numerous benefits, they’re protective, low manipulation, convenient, versatile, lightweight, moisture retention and length retention.
This took me 5 hours to install the twists and I’ll usually have them in about 3 to 4 weeks max. I also share the technique on how to do two strand twists if you’re just learning. I also share so many tips, hacks on everything to do with mini twists.
I usually like to do my twists on damp natural hair because this has worked better for me. I start with freshly washed, moisturized, detangled and damp hair.

The twist are awesome. You should have soooo many more followers. But I just found you a few months ago myself. I'm trying a mini twist journey to see if I can retain more length and get it fuller. I've been natural over 12 years. My twist outs are gorgeous, but I should definitely have more length. I'm prone to breakage on the ends. I also sleep on my back, so I think that's why the back is shorter than the side. Again, great job and awesome videos and IG post. I found you on IG.

The parting method she’s using helps to give the illusion that it’s fuller cuz it’s not traditionally parted. It might work out for you.
Yep, the parting method makes it look fuller, you can also try twisting loosely, this also will make your twists appear fuller 🖤

You can also add a Lil Marley kinky hair to your hair to make it look fuller and/or give it a it more length.
I did 2 strand twist on bone straight hair😭🤣😂 I will NEVER EVER do that again. I steamed my hair to get that shrinkage back🙏🏽🥰

This will take me 2 days to do 😢 but hopefully, I can apply some of these tips and get it done sooner❤❤❤❤ I am getting better at twisting. ❤
That's absolutely fine if it takes you 2 days. Just pace yourself and make the process fun and comfortable for you! it used to take e 10 hours to do this same hairstyle and practice has made the time reduce. Remember it's not a race but its about the finished hair! Don't be too hard on yourself 😁🤗🖤🙏🏽

The twists came out beautifully! How do you keep the base of the twists from getting puffy and rough? I wish I could share a picture of my daughter’s head, it happens so fast! By the time I get to the front the back looks like made it 3 years ago
Start the hair with normal three plait braids then continue with the twist out
Thanks a bunch! When you start the twists, start them a bit tight, not too tight and then continue twisting as you get to the middle and end of the twist. See if this works. You can also try braiding the base a little bit then start twisting or use a rubber band on the base and then start twisting. Try the different methods and see which works better 🖤😁

I would say 4 weeks max so that your hair wont get tangled.I left these in for 5 weeks even though I shouldn't have it it wasn't so bad taking them down, Some people say they can only wear it for 2 to 3 weeks. Just listen to your hair and understand what works best for it. 🙂🖤

You can start with a braid if you don’t want your roots puffy. I wash my hair in twists and then retwist and moisturize one at a time
Hi can you demonstrate how you're twisting your hair? For example, after you separate the two equal pieces of hair, are you twisting each separate part before you twist them together or are you just twisting the two parts? Does that make sense?

i think people can give you recommendations but your technique will depend on your style of hair. i used to split my hair and twist tightly and twist each strand as i twisted together...now i do very small twists but they are loose twists not tightly twisted. i would try a bunch of different ways and document it.
Hiya, I’m just twisting the two parts. I do it this way because I like loose twists and I demonstrated this in the video. If you want tighter twists then when you separate the hair in two, you twist them in opposite directions before twisting them together. What I will tell you is to figure out which technique works out better for you 🖤😁

Oh there’s nothing I can do about shrinkage, I just let me hair shrink when it wants to and I rock it like that! 😊 I spray water on it, apply leave-in and oil every other day to moisturize my twists. I actually do like my twists looking frizzy so sorry I can’t help! Lol 🖤

Hiya! Thank you so much! I appreciate it. Honestly, in the 4 weeks, I only wash my hair once and it was at the 2 week mark. I concentrated on my scalp so I don’t get the hair tangled. Sometimes I also carry the twists for 4 weeks straight without washing but I spray water to moisturize 🖤
Sis I'm French and I have the same name with 2 H in it, I have a particular reason, it's because when I was like 7 I was always writing in tests and document with an h in the end because I was telling my self " why it has an h at the beginning and not at the end ?"
