Metal doesn't "look" as intimidating as it used to "feel". What is supposed to get me through a workout or make me want to burn a church? We'll miss these sonic archetypes when media has matured enough to protest it.

Who's using Marshalls?, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Deftones, and one of my favorite tones is Prongs, although he went from a plexi to an 8100, pretty much same Marshall tone with slight difference. I still love Mesa dual recs though. Probably that and the JCM800 are my two favs, tho I wouldn't mind the jcm800KK edition. I must confess though, my next amp will be a 5150 III mini, they have a shit load of heavy gain and sustain.

@fearedse I don't see why they would get upset... Most high gain amplifiers get a tighter sound with a clean boost.

I have never heard a brutal amp like this one. And trust me I have owned most of the amps in the market. From diezels Bogners mesas ....

Exodus's Tempo Of The Damned has a modded JCM and it's got one of the best guitar tones I've heard. Add Gary's wicked picking and it's damn tasty.

@cisco2fun1 A Fryette power amp was in the Memphis flood or whatever and Fryette refurbed it and it still works.
