I've been watching some of your videos. Looking to move out of Woodbury, Minnesota. Either to Utah (Draper) or Arizona (Gilbert or Scottsdale or Tempe). Still trying to decide. Slightly leaning towards AZ. Not sure
That's exciting that you're considering a move! Definitely some differences between Utah and here. If you ever want to hope on a zoom call with our team to chat more about Arizona, the cities here, and any questions you have to help you decide which place might be best, feel free to schedule a zoom call with us anytime! 😊 bit.ly/LivingInArizonaCall
we left Tempe when our home was purchased for the right of way for the loop 101 and never looked back. it was a decent town up until then now I drive through and it's completely different. miss growing up and going to school there though.
Thanks for checking out the video and great question! Here are some of the top subdivisions and neighborhoods in the Tempe area: Tally Ho Farms Optimist Park NE Sunburst Farms Cyprus Southwest Alta Mira Tempe Royal Estates Kyrene-Superstition Dava Lakeshore Camelot Village Meyer Park If you want more info about each of them, here is a great article with more in-depth info on each uphomes.com/blog/best-neighborhoods-tempe-az/
Yes, I have some colleagues in the northern Arizona area I work with and happy to get you connected with them if you'd like 😊 What part of northern Arizona are you looking at?
Yeah it will depend on what area of Tempe you are in and what type of rental you are looking for. A lot of the rentals geared towards ASU students can be more affordable, but there is also the high end apartments and homes since Tempe is becoming a big employment hub too with all the companies and headquarters going in there.
It rains a few times a year here (especially during monsoon season). But if you want to live somewhere that has rain often, AZ might not be the right fit. I love the rain too, so when we do get the occasional rainstorm I get so excited!
Yeah most areas here including Tempe are less expensive than Los Angeles. But cost of living has been going up in cities all over the country including here in AZ too.

No more Californians! We don’t want communists who leave their failed state and change our politics
I'll be honest, I'm sure Tempe is a beautiful city to live in, however if I was going to buy a home I wouldn't use a Real Estate agent who shows their tattoo's... Why? Well because it shows a lack of impulse control, you let somebody draw (permanently) on you... It's unprofessional, juvenile and it looks horrible, it is not you expressing yourself, it is actually somebody else expressing themselves on you, it is their art not yours... It is the same reason when I go to buy a car, I call up the dealership I'm planning to purchase a vehicle from, I inform them in advance that I am planning to come on such and such day, at such and such time, the type of options and colors in the model(s) I am looking to buy, and finally that I will only buy from a salesman (or woman) who is wearing the 1st thing they change into when they get home from work, no stuffy suits, no stuffy dresswear... I want the sale to be as comfortable for them as it is for me, and yes tattoo's is a deal breaker I inform the dealership about... You'd be surprised how accommodating they become with such requests... Sorry if this comes off as rude, but there are millions of us that feel the same way out there, most aren't willing to say it so bluntly as I am, they just usually do something to sink the deal, like ghosting the agent, or saying let me think about it, but trust me it is because of something like a person's tattoo's, for me I tell you upfront so i don't have my time wasted... Sounds mean I know, but it is the honest truth.....
Not everyone is a fan of tattoos. Most of my clients work with me for my high level of expertise and knowledge to help them succeed with their home purchase experience, not because of their thoughts on my tattoos. But I know some people such as yourself feel very strongly about it which is fine and means I'm not the right agent for you and you're probably not a good fit as a client for me. Good thing is that there are tons of other agents out there that don't have tattoos you can connect with. Thanks for checking out the video 😊
How old are you? Tattoos are a PERSONAL choice. There are a million other things to worry about then what a women chooses to do to HER body. This comment was very judgmental and nasty. It’s neurosurgeons with tattoos, this isn’t the 20s 40s 50s or 60s tattoos are normal. I wouldn’t care if she had a tear drop on her face as long as she’s capable of doing the job. If you’re in an emergency situation I bet you wouldn’t care if the person helping you had a tattoo. SMH I think her shoulder flowers are nice 😊
@@ladydede88 First off I'm old enough to probably be your father. Secondly this isn't about what a woman does with her body, don't turn this into your feminist crusade. This is about impulse control and professionalism. Allowing someone, anyone to permanently mark up your body is the epitome of unprofessional. It is also a behavior of an individual who lacks impulse control, people who lack impulse control are more likely to deceive others, not all of them, but we live in a world where first impressions are everything, and if a client is going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase a home, that lets be honest your generation cannot and will not be able to afford. Then we want professionals. Bottom line is we absolutely live in a world where everyone, including you just books by their covers. Right or wrong isn't debatable because it's a fact. Tattoos are not the norm... According to a 2022 Pew Research Center survey, 26% of American adults have at least one tattoo, with 19% having more than one. The survey found that the majority of tattoo holders are women (30%) and men (21%), and that the most common age groups for individuals to get a first-time tattoo 18-21 (52%), 22-29 (28%), 30-39 (11%), 40-54 (6%), and 55+ (3%). The survey also found that 69% of people regret getting one or more with the passage of each year. Notice a pattern? Those who can actually afford homes think less and less of tattoos. It's not your art it's someone else's graffiti on your body. Become an adult, and stay an adult, adults don't let others people mutilate their body.

Do you do real estate in northern Arizona
Yes, I have some colleagues in the northern Arizona area I work with and happy to get you connected with them if you'd like 😊 What part of northern Arizona are you looking at?
I thought you said it was cheaper rent due to ASU
Yeah it will depend on what area of Tempe you are in and what type of rental you are looking for. A lot of the rentals geared towards ASU students can be more affordable, but there is also the high end apartments and homes since Tempe is becoming a big employment hub too with all the companies and headquarters going in there.

I live in Los Angeles…expensive in Tempe probably cheaper
Yeah most areas here including Tempe are less expensive than Los Angeles. But cost of living has been going up in cities all over the country including here in AZ too.

It’s almost as expensive and you don’t get paid LA salary.
Tempe is great for college kids and people in there 20s
Agreed, it's a great area for that especially around ASU and that Tempe Town Lake area 😊
Pro #4, older homes have AC units on the roof. 😳
Good point, a lot of the older homes here in the Phoenix metro have the AC units on the roof.
Hes too Cute !!
Thanks so much!

She never ask for your opinion on her tattoos, did she? If you don’t like it go away and take your rant where it may be relevant. Bye ✌️
