#SFTOTHEEND I'm in that place of applying and applying and getting no where. Finally published my portfolio... continuously adding content/projects, etc. Thanks so much for the motivation, and congratulations on landing your first SF role!
Amazing insight into the hard work and rejection that may accompany breaking into the Salesforce space. Yes, it's possible! Yes, it may be difficult! Yes, it is worth it!
Thanks for sharing your story and congrats on your first SF job! I'm curious if you went through the Talent Stacker program and if so, did you find it was worth the price? Just starting my research into the SF world and your videos have been super helpful!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a few minutes out of your day to listen to my story! I didn’t go through the TS program, I tried but things didn’t go accordingly so I decided to go ahead and venture off
Thank you so much for the video. I’m sure you have an idea how valuable this is that you’re sharing here. I am taking my admin certification programs and I’m starting my super badges and I’m having a very hard time and I’m confused a lot of times. And I do wonder how much do I need to learn to get a job as an admin which is something that I’m really looking forward to. I am staying positive. I’m putting in my due diligence every day at least couple hours at home and at work and I try to, so much as I can even though it easily becomes confusing so you are right I need to be patient and just go with the flow and just do my best and learn as much as I can. I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on how to start my own project, just like you so I can stand out among the rest. Thank you so much. God bless.
Very early steps. Been working on Trailhead for about a month. It's been good, but there will be a lot of little things to remember. Hardest thing to keep straight so far is security - profiles, permission sets, sharing, etc. Seems like a million things to remember.
From someone with 0 tech experience, yes it is possible. It is not going to be easy, you’ll have to stand from the rest of the candidates and demonstrate you’re wealth of SF knowledge
Well the pay varies from company to company. If you don’t mind making 65-80k starting as an admin then this might be a pay increase. Of course, there’s others that make more but from what I’ve seen around that range
@@Gayathri05 technology is always changing as well as Salesforce admin roles. Over time, you’ll want to expand your skillset and knowledge to open up more opportunities. AND as the SF market grows employers will ask for more requirements
If folks in the Salesforce ecosystem want us to succeed, why do they give such lousy and useless advice? I'm an MBA graduate and veteran of the USAF. I'm also a Salesforce Certified Administrator. It's shockingly incredibly difficult to establish a career within the Salesforce ecosystem. The only results I'm getting from employers who claim to hire Salesforce Administrators is ignored and rejected, which is very strange and discouraging. Can anyone please recommend actions I can take immediately right now to increase the likelihood of a career in the Salesforce ecosystem? I'd like to take actions that make a beneficial difference and I don't want to keep spinning my wheels and getting nowhere.
Do you have a portfolio that showcases your projects? Have you network with anyone in the community who can tell you what they did to get to the position they are in? Just trying to figure out what you have done to get into the door besides applying for jobs.
Everyone has their own advices for others in the salesforce ecosystem. I've taken everything and utilized that information and make it my own. It is going to difficult especially when you have job postings with hundreds of applicants in a few hours. From what I've seen and experience it is an overnight thing, you'll have to apply to numerous postings and also remember don't apply with the same application. Tailor your resume and CV if you have one and make it relatable to what you are applying. Learn and try new things out what are you going to lose...

Hello Jovani, thanks for sharing your experience. At your opinion , is it real to find remote job as a junior SF admin ?
