How to Install Shiplap Made From Plywood - Best Method!

    This is an easy DIY project that you can knock out in a weekend and will give your house that rustic feel that seems to becoming trendy.
    The basics of this method is to buy a 1/4" or 3/16" sheet of plywood and rip the sheets into 8" wide sections. The plywood will look just like real shiplap, but will be so much cheaper. Plus you can paint over your faux plywood shiplap and customize it to look however you want, but if you buy the premade shiplap from a hardware store, it isn't real wood and will not be as easy to paint.
    Then just use a staple gun or hammer in some finishing nails to the shiplap. Then patch up the nail holes with spackle and paint over everything. Easy breezy beautiful.
