Special thanks for the passion and devotion of IRIM Lab members,
Junsuk Yoon, Young-Woo Sim, Hyeonah Bae, and Geon-Ho Bak!
Special thanks for the great support of the Bionic Hand Project members!
The guy who's holding the wood REALLY trust the guy holding the hand that is holding the hammer.
he just want to replace his hand for that
lol, I thought it is one guy only. Now I got that the guy would have two left hands, that is probably not really welcomed in this fine-motoric lab :)
i too love designing state of the art robotic hands, and then not being able to use a damn vice to hold a piece of wood during a demonstration lmao. Amazing hand though, especially those rolling contact joints
Amazing!!!
This robot and technology was invented from KIST UNI in KOREA.
Patrick : "we are no longer caveman, we have technology."
That's a great effort! I love that the joints aren't mechanically hinged. I actually printed almost the exact same joints (only with grooves on them) a few years back for the same design! (not nearly as advanced as this though). Makes so much sense in weight saving and simplicity. Also extremely durable I think and more similar to human joints.
Congratulations on the award. You guys totally deserve it. This has to be one of the best designs i've seen yet. Bravo!
2019 Amputated arms are bad
2029 hey chopping our arms off
Cyberpunk 2077
I know I'm annoying but makes me think about how the engineer from tf2 actually cut off his own hand for the Gunslinger
this is the best hand I've never seen....I love this... please consider to develop entire arm
Congratulations on the award. Stellar work.
This may become a great improvement for modern prosthetic. Are there any plans to turn this into a product?
I'm wondering that too.
I hope it will
Congratulations for getting best paper award! :D
Congratulations guys, it is amazing.
Wow awesome! Love that fine manipulation of an alan key, also seems like the thumb has alot of freedom too, Great work!
Amazing! It looks like it can lift a person.
this is the best design i have ever seen
It is necessary to increase the mobility of the distal phalanges and reduce the size of the motors on the radius, this will increase the accuracy, but slightly reduce the compression pressure.
Seu projeto é incrível, não pare
Wonderful and great job
Keep good work 👍
I would love to see openAI's rubik's cube solving AI working with this hand.
I doubt the shadow hand they currently use is nowhere close to how good this hand is.
I imagine this with the Atlas of Boston Dynamics. It would be perfect !
You're living in a dream world where Boston Dynamics isn't pulling the wool over your fluffy sheeple eyes.
Maybe they will incorporate it in their Ambidex project.....
@@sohailsiddique-jist6050 Maybe you'll incorporate it into your tiny smooth brain.
@@Sh4dowHunter42 Ahh yes....I m trying to understand it's coding....so u see, I m definately trying to incorporate the concept in my tiny yet effective brain...😄😄
@@sohailsiddique-jist6050 This tiny brain with which you speak of, needs to go back to kindergarten, or at least a remedial spelling class. Cheers.
Congratulations, very impressive design!
That is quite impressive I love your design.
I've had an Ideal for a had like that when I was 5 I've made plenty of concepts that are basically just now being made the hand was when the only prosthetic hand was a hook I've also thought of using nano bots for the improvement of health and lots more if anyone is interested I can tell you what I have came up with
Very nice!
Amazing work!!! Can you please share the model of the motors used to drive the tendons?
You + Boston Dynamic + IBM Watson = 🤖🔥
Awesome
This is impressive! How do you plan to connect it with the user?
This looks perfect. What great work!
No words for your work sir!!!!
Hello, your robotic hand videos on youtube is amazing,as i need a robotic hand to develop some functions, would you please tell me if i can buy a robotic hand from you? Or is there any other way to buy robotic hand with high DoF?Thank you very much!
I want one! How the heck do I do?
Do you guys work on decreasing the weight alittle more? Because a hand should weigh around 600grams and 1,8kg seams alittle much?
Ok I looked it up again together with the forarm, my forarm and hand weigh around 2,2kg so this looks about right:)
How much power do the motor use?
This needs more views
super cool
That is perfect but still Needs some Motor Strength
Uau.. it´s so good. Congratulations!
0:59 You can see the person’s leg, indicating that this hand is already attached to a human or cyborg body.
Have you guys considered using a Non-Newtonian Fluid with iron particles and a magnetic field as a digit? Myself I feel it is the way to go!
It make me want to work for this lab. Seems so interesting
Good job Korea!
impressive
just amazing
Amazing! How that fingers can move so faster?
0:50 roboto ready to bar fight
This is the Cyber Punk future we need!
Thank you for sharing.
I'm curious if this hand is open-sourced?
1:07 that is pretty usefull
Outstandig ! Good Job
Why don't you use the V1 hand to fix the wood, would be safer and more impressive
So the main purpose this arm robots only for hammering?
There are robots with tendons, and robots with gears... welp... looks like we have two subspecies of bots. Impressive hand ye got there tho.
Can this be attached to the people who those don't have forearm? 🤔
Wow
Future is here, now we just need better battery technology.
I want to see this robot climb a boulder :-D
Give Sophia!
surreal isso mano
Why am I subbed to this channel?
what type of engineer are you
Please share the files, I know you can't, but had to ask!!!
1:31 XD no no, u doing it wrong, bro! The robot arm shoul hold your hand and hammer a nail
mans comes from balancing bicycle to this holy shit
ohh this robot can do middle finger😂😂
Mantafffffff
Her: "I've never done this before"
Also her: 0:13
The robot hand did a better job with the hammer that the humons and that's why thy will take over
Model T-800 near completion
You should use the FLLEX Hand instead of your real hand to hold onto the wood at 1:15
Skynet is coming...
Now that's an expensive hammer xD
no terminatör.
I thought this hand is from harry potter
lasco cara
