Beautiful and fascinating piece of art and history. The subtlety is astounding for the time-- the sparkle of the eyes, the wry hint of a smile. It actually looks like she's looking at something (or someone) that gives her pleasure. I'm just stunned by her every time i see her. Too bad i will probably never see this in person...

She is lovely. Such a shame to miss those eyes, I bet they were striking. But I love the detail of her eyelids and the gentle creases around her lips. She was exalted in life and is still being honored centuries thereafter. It'll be interesting to see other depictions of her.

Hi, I have watched her recently for the second time in Berlin . Truely amazingly beautiful and incredible that she is more than 3000 years old . From the brilliance of the colours , it seems she has just been discovered one week ago....
Since she is from Egypt , one should at least give one very sophisticated copy
to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo as a good will gift. Greetings Conny

Why should they give a copy? What Berlin needs to do is return the bust to Egypt as they are the rightful owner of the bust.
And those saying it’s fake. That’s debatable, as there’s no evidence of its authenticity and we will never know, if it’s fake or not.
