Rip Tina. MV
OMG! I LOVE THIS!!! This is my favorite version of them doing this song. My favorite part is after they come out of the music break (2:10 to be exact, lol) Tina comes back to the mic and the look on her face is priceless!! I mean she is into it with a vengeance. Band and Ikettes ALL on point!
Every Star lost it back then, n every American group thought that their Careers were over doing this time n it was due to the "British Invasion" Patii Labelle & The Bluebells, the Shirelles, The Staples, Vandellas, Lil Richard, but Ike n TINA furnish because begged n begged him for years before the 70s if they could do more Rock n Roll instead of R&B (first n the 60s he beat her ehen she asked and blamed them never getting anothet number one record since their first release n 1960, Fool N Love, because she wasn't singing the music right) to let her so more rock n roll, and he finally realise that crossing over Pop Dream he had wasn't working n they were the only black group that was selling out Shoes like crazy All because She New what to do, and thou Ike was skeptical But Tina's First Rock Song went straight to Gold Proud Mary, n They were one of the only black groups that survived, n gave electrical performances because she knew she always sing, but she could really perform Rock. Thats Y it Pisses me off when They day Ike Made her, he didn't teach her to dance, or sing, that was her talent n when he saw it he had to have her because she was his meal Ticket out the Ghetto, he would still be playing n clubs only till he died if he hadn't met her n begged her mother. Patti Labelle n the Bluebells also survived by Moving to London getting a new manager, and changing their music to straight Rock too, but they had to Name to LaBelle and their wardrobe so People would Give Them a Chance n not think they were going to see the Bluebells.
Know what? Mick sure would deserve a medal to come after this when they opened for the Rolling Stones back in the days!
If this wasn't on video, there's no way you'd believe music was ever this good!
She was ROCK & ROLL. The singers today are wanna bees
EXACTLY!
Four powerful women. Breath taking energy.
Only two of them are still around: the queen herself and Jean Burks.
Mary Jean Brown Standard, the last Ikette standing passed away last January. RIP Jean.

That's Ike Turner
@@st.dominic4169 Ike was a great musician and musical arranger. Tina was artistically better with Ike but more commercially successful after him.
