This was my parents music and I am 55. I walked in the kitchen earlier and my 13 year old daughter was cooking us dinner singing "can't take my eyes off of you" she didn't miss a single word, and it was a playlist of her own. I was sincerely touched, this music will live forever.
My middle grandaughter has Spotify playlists that are made up of all songs from the 60s. Her favorite artist is Paul Anka. She loves his ballads. She also likes the Four Seasons. She asked me once "How does his voice go so high?" My wife and I graduated High School in a small town in New Jersey in 1964. We started dating in our senior year and were married in 1968 after I finished school. We'd spend one Saturday each summer in Atlantic City before we were married. Most of the day was spent at the Steel Pier. We saw the original Four Seasons there. We still listen to their music today either on USB sticks or Sirius in our car. Those were great times.
I remember when my Dad would hear this on the radio. He'd start singing it to my Mom. I miss them both, those were the best memories of them. I'll see them again.

What a beautiful anecdote. Saying hello from Puerto Rico, I was born in MatAnzas Cuba, about 100 miles from Key West , and I got hooked on Rock and Roll ever since.

Talk about perfect intonation and some kick ass pipes (at 80?!). Calling this man a legend is an understatement, music will never be the same. Thank god for Frankie Valli.

Eduar: I am not a fan of Britney Spears at all. I love Oldies music and I have absolutely nothing against Frankie Valli. My husband and I went to see him perform live this past April and was disappointed because he did lip synch many of his songs. There was also a newspaper critic there and she also stated that he clearly lip synched. It sort of looked to me that he might be doing the same here. I understand he's in his 80s and that he is a legend, but he if can no longer sing the high notes he used to sing, maybe he should change the music a bit to better fit the notes he can sing now, rather than lip synching.
I was just at Frankie Valli’s concert the other night in Radio City and Bob GAUDIO made a special appearance!! He walked right by me and I got to say hi and meet him!! Such a cool experience
Fun fact: I used to work for his gated community and I would control who comes on his property. He would always have rehearsals with musicians. This guy still works hard.

In 1961 Frankie Valli showed me my apartment McCarter Highway in North Newark, he was a maintenance worker down there I remember when he broke out with Sherry that was a big deal by then he was gone from the projects
may, that is really something, quite an amazing experience. i've been a four seasons fan since 62' when sherry seemed to be playing on the radio constantly. and i was only 8, in hazlet, n.j.
What a beautiful anecdote. Saying hello from Puerto Rico, I was born in MatAnzas Cuba, about 100 miles from Key West , and I got hooked on Rock and Roll ever since.
@@joesmith-ok8ip Me too, I was 9 ...
Yeah I have similar dreams as that where someone famous is either driving me around or doing something weird like Mulder and Scully are my Dentist and Assistant.
Don't you mean maintenance man??????
Talent and songs were better years ago, and when you see kids dancing to it, well, that says something.
I am so glad I was a teenager at the time the Four Seasons were constantly on the radio. :)
Talk about perfect intonation and some kick ass pipes (at 80?!). Calling this man a legend is an understatement, music will never be the same. Thank god for Frankie Valli.
Happy to see him so active and well at 85. Wow!! He can still sing so well at that age. Like he is not 85.
This is from 6 years ago
🚗🚗
For Olivia, beautiful Lady, May our Lord and Savior give your family peace and comfort in your passing, God Bless

Yo lo escucho hoy 14 agosto 2020 Chile.
Que bien canta Frankie , un gran artista.
My mother was a music major in college, her father was in a band and then owned a music store in a small town in Iowa, and I was introduced to his music in his store....and I am 43 and love all kinds of music and I still love listening to him!
Still Love and listen to Frankie Valli…So Happy to see him still performing and sounding Wonderful….
He is amazing mad respect . People reading this he is 80 year's old hear and can sing like he did 50+ years ago in his prime when he was 20-30 year's old
The Best Of Their Time. There will never be another voice like Frankie Valli.
Wayne Hughes. Great, great song.
One of a kind
Agreed 👍😁
Love this😁😁😁😍😍😍👈
It warms my heart that even now people still are singing the four seasons and know the songs
My mom absolutely loved Frankie Valli so I grew up listening to him because of her.
Music from my hey days! You can't beat the 60's and 70's mucic.
This one's amazing! He's not syncing. It's all him here and he's taking care of business. This is impressive stuff!!!!!
Omg! What a song! Too good to be true! Love ya FRANKIE!!! OH PRETTY BABY! Isn't it amazing how music moves us??
Welcome to real old school talent..they aint making it more like this...ohhh yeahhh u see some in america idiol but then after they dont promote them like back in the days they only use it for a show thrn they disappear and is over ..i hate todays music they just want to put on top hip hop and these guys is are stupid they letting the real good music disappear
It looks like he's lip syncing to me.... how can you tell he's not, Leigh?
@@karenmangan4065 hey karen u nerd to understand he is from the era that people really sing..he is a legend he dont have to fool nobody lol u must be used to britney spears and all those garbage fake stars that take a lot of fans as ignorant lol and little kids fall for it...
Holy smokes his voice still sounds amazing.
I Still get goosebumps hearing and listening to Frankie - timeless - love you 👍👏👋😍 true STAR 🌟🇦🇺April 2024 ❤
Aaah, fantastic, so many happy memories of Frankie Valli et al, all our love from the city of the Beatles, Liverpool. This sound will never ever age.

I was just at Frankie Valli’s concert the other night in Radio City and Bob GAUDIO made a special appearance!! He walked right by me and I got to say hi and meet him!! Such a cool experience
I was there that night also it was great! Loved the show
Your a true legend Frank, love all your songs too.
This was America, before the storm. Enjoy it, for what it was.
When America was America, then and Now! just memories.❤
Fun fact: I used to work for his gated community and I would control who comes on his property. He would always have rehearsals with musicians.
This guy still works hard.
Natural talent < practice
I’m 21 and I LOVE FRANKIE!!! I wish there was still music like this today
This will sound kind of shattered but people like you are our only hope for the real music to live in the future. I'm not saying that today's music is not worth to listen, it's just that is so few.
Im 360 light years away, and this music still touches my soul.
His voice cannot be matched by anyone fantastic
This music will last forever. Frankie still sounds like when I was a lot younger and he makes me feel young again. Thank you
Hi Janet
I know most my age would call me a total geek, dork or whatever (I’m 18) but wow i love this guy and this music so much, just can’t get enough and i know understand how my parents constantly trash today’s music as “junk” totally awesome! New fan forever. Cheers everyone and please stay safe during this horrible pandemic. This made me forget all the troubles our country is facing presently. Proud 🇺🇸

I did like rap, but then it started to get to dirty.Imagine listening to CardiB. WAP in the car with children 😳😳😳😳. P.S. Oh man what a voice...after almost half a century, that distinct voice still stood the best of times. Way to go sir Frankie...
I stayed to hear " can't take my eyes off of you" and was not dissatisfied at all!
I have always thought that song was one of the greatest love songs EVER!!
L
Me too...I wasn't expecting the crowd to croon it in unison like that..that was beautiful. As if anyone needs another excuse (especially during that part) to get misty-eyed lol
Hello how are you doing my friend
Our country is a better place with him in it. Whatever he's got, he's got it! Bravo!!
