I didn't get to see Jersey boys-- but I just saw Frankie Valli in July -- what an awesome voice. Humble man and still sounding awesome at 87. Will never forget that concert everyone having a good time including the band -- an awesome high. Just good happy music by one of the best!
Sherri is my name...do you know how many times I have live thru someone playing that song?..I'm 64 now & suddenly the aggravation I once felt has turned into wonderful memories each time i hear the song.
Saw the show in Johannesburg. Took our Granddaughter Alexis she loved the show. Lived through times of great music and lucky to have done so. Appreciate Big Band , Sinatra, Jelly Roll , Trad. Jazz, Fats, Elvis, Buddy. Will todays generation listen to the music they like now enjoy with their grandchildren? I doubt it.
That's one of the best performances from Jersey Boys ever! A full orchestra behind them, good acoustics plus one of the best cast. Excellent. Thank you contributer, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saw it here in South Africa Johannesburg. Took our eldest grandchild . She loved it and now loves the 50s / 60s music . For her 16th next year wants a 1920s style party . Music crosses the age groups .
Spring, 2020 (Coronavirus Stay-At-Home) *** I notice the musicians in the background smiling away! WE BABY BOOMERS recall when these excellent tunes were on the radio. Stellar writing, singing and . . . choreography - No Wonder this show is such a hit!
Yes, Martha! Saw the show here in Toronto 3 times. As a fellow baby boomer who is pushing 70 this year, I share your feelings! COVID-19 has stolen much from us. For myself, it's not being able to see my son, daughter, son-in-law and my beautiful 3-year-old granddaughter who live 10 minutes away. However, we have beautiful boomer memories! We're a very lucky generation, that we can lay claim to such fabulous music! Stay well!
Gerald MurrayJohn was so good that Frankie himself couldn't tell the difference between his own version of some of the songs and John singing. That's how freaking good JLY was in the part and got the role in the movie. Clint went and watched all different versions of the play to see who was the right one to play Frankie, WTG JLY
I love those Jersey Boys Just saw the movie and going back to the Broadway show in December Music is supposed to make you feel good and this fits the bill
Holy moly can these guys sing!!! Finally a genre of music that all generations can agree on. So cool!!! Coming to Hartford Connecticut in 2012, can't wait.
LOVE Jersey Boys - but did anyone notice the women in the orchestra loving every minute of them singing?!! LOL!! They have the biggest smiles on their faces.
My son took me to see this in San Francisco in 2009. We had a great time! My son and I knew all the words to every single song. What was striking though was that the audience was filled with very young teenagers and they knew every singly lyric of every single song! The place just rocked with their singing and it was just great fun!!
I have seen Jersey Boys on Broadway 26 times! Jarrod is the best Frankie Valli there is! His falsetto can not be beat!!! I hope that when they make the movie that they get him to play the part!!!
Unfortunately, they didn't. Although, I agree Spector was the superior singer, Young was thought to be a better actor and also had the advantage of playing original Frankie. Spector went on to other Bway successes, deservedly receiving top reviews.
Very nice tribute and I am glad they made this to introduce their music to so many. Fortunately or unfortunately I have never seen Jersey Boys, but I did see the Four Seasons live once, and Frankie Valli solo twice. I will never forget them or the joy of watching the real Jersey Boys perform live. Thanks for posting this. Frankie, bless him, is a national treasure and still going strong. I last saw him live 40 years ago. I still have vivid memories of that night. He came out into the audience and sat down while performing live and had my girlfriend sing along with him. I hope people get joy out of their music whether via the Jersey Boys or listening to the original boys recordings. 👍
I love them all the way!!!!!! I went two years ago to see them on Broadway and I fell completely in love with the play! In sept I will get tickets to see it again. Jarrod I loooove uuuuu!!! They're just magical!!!!
Watching this video brought me back to a truly wonderful night in the early 70's. The place? The SoapBox in North Jersey. A large nightclub with a center rotating stage and four rooms around it. On the stage that night> Two live bands. Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons and Jay and the Americans. And the batle of the bands was on. Four hours of non stop music and a packed house. Every song the two bands had done up til then. Music overload par excellence. I've never seen anything like it since.
I love them all the way!!!!!! I went two years ago to see the on Broadway and I fell completely in love with the play! In sept I will get tickets to see it again. Jarrod I loooove uuuuu!!! Thes're just magical!!!!
Terrific performance. Jarrod - what a singer! How nice to have the depth and texture of a full orchestra behind him. I saw the national touring company in Milwaukee. Joseph Leo Bwarie was Frankie and was terrific, on par with Jarrod. When he finished "My Eyes Adored You," the entire audience stood and clapped and whistled for a long time. Joseph broke character for a moment to acknowledge the ovation. It's hard to believe that the record companies didn't want to release that song.
What a night everyone--lucky enough to see this great performers--must have spent! I was lucky enough to see the play in Broadway: And it was spectacular!
I've seen Jersey Boys 3 times. I was impressed the first two times with John Lloyd Young and Michael Longoria, respectively, but Jarrod made me into a true fan. I had never before thought of watching JB on UA-cam until after I saw Jarrod. He just takes it to another level. I can't say I've seen every single Frankie in JB, but based on what I got out of my live attendance and watching the videos here, I think Jarrod has no equal. Just my humble opinion.
These guys are hot and on fire. What a group of fine men. I remember the 4 Seasons. Loved them then. And still today. The Jersey Boys. I tip my hat to you. You guys are awesome. Love all you guys. Come to the Silver Star Casino. At Pearl River Resort and Casino. PHILADELPHIA, MISSISSIPPI . .YOU WILL GREATLY BE LOVED. God bless Always.😍 Love yall muchess. Still #1
Couldn't agree more. the play is 5 x more powerful - to me - than the movie. The scene when they invent "Sherry" and take off like a rocket turned our crowd into a raving, screaming, stomping rock concert crowd - and it stayed like that the rest of the play. Unforgettable. Brilliant. Uplifting
Loved the musical, the brass section was unbelievable!!!
I hate musicals and I went to this one three times. Inspiring.

I have the Movie and it's great. I liked their song's right from the beginning. Just Great.
You will get your chance, they are going back on tour in 2024!
My fav'rt group too...

Michele “My Belle” could have been your name. That would have been roughly ten years after Sherri

They are so good from australia
@@annettespencer8154 - OK, and your point is, please?
I am a baby boomer and loved this!!!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I've watched lots of Jersey Boys videos on UA-cam, and this guy is by far the best Franki Valli of any of them.
+Gordon Prempeh certainly has the most accurate look. The voice is very good. But I've just got a thing for Miguel Jarquin after seeing him in person.
after john Lloyd young
I vote John Lloyd ..
the best is John Lloyd Young

I think it's more to do with how out of tune they were
You haven‘t seen my smile yet.

I love to hear Jersey boy songs and especially the concert. Thank you.
watched JERSEY B0YS twice... it still makes me want to dance, makes me smile, makes me happy after a tiring day... i love JERSEY BOYS!!!
I do like to Jersey Boys but I liked it when the show came out the 90s or 2000s by Bobby DeVito
Have seen Jersey Boys 7 times. Hopefully will see number 8 this summer at the Kennedy Center in D.C. Sherry Starr
That was an awesome show !! Thank you boys.
Love you Jarrod, my favorite Jersey boys 💞💞
You guys are great keeps the original singers in tact.
Hugs and kisses
One of the greatest gifts to American music.
