  • Hello Everyone!
Today I am sharing the second part of how I color:
    -Tim Holtz Paper Dolls
    -Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Booth
    -Tim Holtz Portraits
These are so fun to use in your projects and since folks over on IG ask me frequently how I color mine, I wanted to share my process with you all! There are two parts to this tutorial! I'll share part two later! In the meantime, I hope you will play a bit with these! Let me know what questions you have and if this video was helpful to you, please like the video, subscribe, and share it with a friend or two! Thank you!
    * Also, someone mentioned they hated the music so I didn't add music to this video to see y'all's overall preference. Tell me your vote. Music or no music. I always feel weird when there's no music. Lol. So, let me know!
    Thanks!

I like the results using the Stabilo woody pencils, which I was not familiar with. I ordered some and am looking forward to using them. Thanks for your inspiration!

The watercolor pencils are more opaque than the other media you demonstrated. I was surprised they worked so well. They seem to be a good choice for tinting over black. I'm glad you showed the way you add details. You dolls always stand out from the rest and combine so well with mixed media. 🎉

These are all awesome techniques…I particularly loved using just plain, old Crayola markers…I do have one question, why do you prefer gesso over Matte Medium? I always use the Matte Medium and wondered if the gesso gave you better results? Thank you for sharing with us…Hugs…❤

I like watching without music ❤ I have actually silenced some channels while watching because the background music was so irritating 😂. You have a very pleasant voice and it’s nice hearing your thought process.

It is confusing when you refer to the watercolor pencils as crayons, I am a t the half way point and you have said it twice.

Hi Brenda, thanks for watching to the half way point. If this free content hasn’t been helpful to you, I’d encourage you to stop watching. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about what you said at this point to make it meet your standards. Truly doing the best I can.
