Awesome thanks for sharing.
I have so many paper dolls which I love but thanks for showing a different technique…
Such a cute idea Tina!!!! You can do so much with these ideas! Thank you so much for sharing this idea!!!!!
Hi Tina, thank you for this great idea! I really like it. I don't have TH paper dolls, but I can imagine doing it with other images on cardstock. So darling, and I love the additional dimensionality. You know, you have so many awesome projects... maybe you should consider not putting yourself down quite so much?? You often say "I'm just rubbish at..." or other things that devalue yourself. We so often learn this habit of putting ourselves down, I know, but I would very gently and kindly love to encourage you to reduce it a bit. Not because it bothers me as a listener, but because you don't deserve to have negative things said about you! Self-compassion and kindness to self are so important. You're awesome.
Super cute idea Tina!
The TH paper dolls are appealing but I've never decided what I would do with them . This is a great idea. But more than that, I just appreciate the pop-up demo, because that really gives me ideas!! You are too hard on yourself when it comes to little 'flubs' with glue, or pieces not behaving the way you want them. It's all part of the creativity process. I get so hung up on getting started because I don't allow myself to just create as a go and not have this perfect end result in my mind ahead of time. Believe me, watching your little mistakes is so encouraging. You always end up with something so pretty, so creative.
I remember making pop up cards and scrapbooking things from days gone by. Those are very cute. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Paulette x
Such adorable pop-up cards Tina!❤️🦋❤️🦋
LOVE THIS IDEA-SO PRETTY-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
What a fantastic project
So fun and creative 😍 genius whit the umbrella👏😍🌻🌼🌺🌹 13° slightly cloudy and a strong Wind in Arctic Norway today 😊
Great idea to pop up the paper dolls, Tina! TFS the inspiration!
So much fun, Tina! You sparked an idea. I have a couple of these Tim Holtz doll sets but have yet to use them. I want to make a funny card. On the front of the card it's written, "Keep this card handy for if ever you're feeling lonely..." And then they open it up and about 10 people pop up and inside it says, "You'll have an army of friends." 🤣🤣🤣
What a cute idea.
Wow what a awesome idea. I love this ❤️ . So many ways to use this wonderful idea. Thank you so much. There will be hours of fun in this idea stay safe and be well.
Making a pop up along with you today. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
Brilliant and can’t wait to try❤️ 46:55
Love, Love this project with the Tim Holtz paper dolls. I will be trying this out for sure! 💖💖💖 TFS! Great tutorial! Crafty Hugs, Christal
Yay, have fun with these Christal x
This is such a cute idea. Thx for video. Austin,TX USA
These are adorable! I'm going to make some. I've had my paper dolls for over a year and have only used a couple.
I have so many paperdoll book images that would work well for this!
Have fun with your paper dolls xx
BEAUUUUUUTIFUL
I've made pop-up cards in the past but never thought to use this idea in a journal. ( I think I put the glue on the pop-up part) You've inspired me to make some with my huge stash of paper dolls. They are so cute!
We’ll this is fun Tina! I have had paper dolls for a long time just waiting for the perfect project to use them. Thanks for the inspiration!🤩
Great idea! I have TH paper dolls too. Perfect way to use this them. Thanks Tina.
Ms.Tina you did a great job showing how to make a pop-up. I've been doing pop-ups cards for along time just remember to keep it inside the card (lol) what great fun!
Yes, it’s easy to have it popping out…….before it’s meant to! Lol x
Great Tutorial, can’t wait to try this…..soon!!! 🌷
I LOVE THAT IDEA THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Very nice, I will give this a try! 🇨🇦
I really like this use of the paper dolls. Immediately I thought of making a scene that related to the paper doll on the flap behind the pop up. Thanks for the neat idea of how to better use the paper dolls.
This is so cute - can’t wait to try this technique , thanks …
I have some paper dolls that are in a seated position so will put them sitting on that piece of popped-up paper - will measure knee-sole of foot before cutting the popup.
Aren’t you the clever girl, I love the umbrella girl!
Thank you so much tomee x
Sorry I meant Torree x
Sweet, lovely idea!
Waouhhhhhh superbe bravos 👏
I knew the first on was upside down. I have made alot of pop up cards with the kids in school. They also like to use double stick tape to raise things up. They call it 3D. Cards are fun to make ❤❤❤
Lol, honestly I found it really confusing at first! Haha. They’re fun to make aren’t they, I like the idea of the double stick tape, and can see why kids would love to make pop ups. Hope you’re doing great, love to you as always x
Great tutorial Tina.🐞💞
Love these. I will try this.
You like color.. One way I like to use mine is to add water color to the to make them look like the very first colored photo's. I think you would like water color painting them.
Love, love this project with the Tim Holtz paper dolls. I will be trying this out for sure. Just would like to mention when you order more again to check out his new paper doll portraits. I am in a project with these and enjoying them so much. It would be fun to see what you come up with. Love your style as always!
Very cute!!! I really like this idea. Brilliant! thank you so much for your nice videos; we enjoy them so much!
Lovely ideas for the pop outs endless possibilities. Thank you Tina . Are you enjoying working in your new craft room it looks much brighter 🐇
Oh thank you so much, and for saying it’s brighter, I really appreciate the feedback x
Wow, awesome ideal I've been wanting to learn how to make pop-ups and watching you make them for the first time I'm ready to start you are a pro for making these for the first time you did an excellent job explaining how-to & decorating them. Purchased a pack 3yrs ago forgot about them because I didn't know what or how else to use them, went on a shopping craft spree again a year ago purchased same pack still not recalling I had the first pack so now I'm good with plenty of paper dolls to make POP-UP'S. Thanks for sharing your tutorial, your new move to another room has given you great inspiration I said to you" CHANGE IS GOOD, and I hear it in your voice & video. Thanks for sharing again :)
Oh how cute 😍 I made pop up cards years ago but not for journals and stuff. Also I've hoarded my paper dolls long enough 🙈 . I love that you film your first go, it's an adventure😄. You could do with a silicone mat for your glue gun, they're useful for all sorts. Oh so pretty 😍. This one's going in my ideas book but will mass make some when I have time. I don't have the two sizes, it's fun matching them though. Love your measuring with the card, love your explanation even more 🙊 you sound like me🙊. I've done multi pops before but only for a greetings cards, they need different sized slots for depth. You could use a bulky one on a cover! I've not used mine at all yet 🙈. Loving the dancer with the brolly. I gave up trying to get my silhouette to print and cut properly but I like fussy cutting anyway. Great idea for using the dolls 😁. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Hello Tina, love these paper doll flip cards, they came out so very pretty. My favorite is the ballerina card, love it. TFS
Thank you so Denise, they’re so fun aren’t they? X
Tina!! These are so lovely!! I've seen them for years but never knew how to do them -- they seemed so complicated -- but you've made them look so doable! I never have any trouble following your instructions, never, so paper dolls are on my agenda for tomorrow. As it happens I just came across my box of Tim's paper dolls and just like you, love them and want to use them more than I do. Your timing is perfect! Love and hugs, MK ❤ 🤗 🏜🤗❤
Love these,well done Tina,much inspired
Viewing from the caribbean they are adorable Tina
Yay, thank you Josette, have a wonderful day in the Caribbean x
This is absolutely fantastic, Tina!! You came up with a pretty cool new twist! Tim has just this spring has come up with 2 new sets of dolls: portraits (wouldn’t work well for this) AND mini dolls!! They’re really fun! I know you always say that you don’t do fiddly things, but you really do do fiddly! And I think if you put that flower right behind the girl & attach them both to the pop up piece, the flowers will pop up with her! Uh oh, this might be getting out of hand! I think that you also could have used the sideways tall & narrow card, you just would have to glue the pop up sideways! I think the minis would be good for your little tiny envelopes, how much fun would that be tucked in somewhere special in a journal?! I also liked the umbrella in the hand of the ballerina, very nice! Thanks so much for a new & exciting journaling goodie! You’re the best! How are you liking your new craft room & setup? I still replay in my head so many cute ideas from your 3 videos!
Oh thank you so much Erica, they’re really fun aren’t they? I love your suggestions, especially the flowers popping up with the girl. I am really loving my new craft room, it’s nice being able to see everything closer to hand………just need to try and remember whee I put things now! Lol. Thank you so much for your kind words, you’ve made my day x
@@shabbydabbydoodah It’s I that thanks you for your steadfastness & kindness all through the pandemic! I looked forward to seeing you (and hearing your upbeat & cheerful voice) all through those long lonely months. Never underestimate the good you did then just by cranking out those videos every day! I’ve watched you get more & more confident in your unique style while weathering your own personal issues & we’ve both come a long way!! You go, girl!!
I always wondered how to do that! I will definitely be trying this!!! Father’s Day cards would be awesome!!! ❤️🥰
Great idea can't wait to make some😍
Have fun Susan x
This is absolutely brilliant!!!! My brain is running crazy with ideas now! Thank you so much! I don't have these paper dolls, but I have some other ones. Plus, I love the idea of a window behind, or scenery, or other things popping up. Genius!!!
These are great thanks Tina - I love my TH dolls but never quite know how to use them but….I have just made one of these and I will now make a few more. 👏. Love how you experiment with us - thank you.
Love this project. It’s funny because I have all my paper dolls out. I have paper dolls from long ago and a month or so ago bought the new mini paper dolls. And I used a few small paper dolls in a tiny journal to go into a altered mint tin can. The small ones are perfect fit for the small journal. Now I can make some birthday card with them or flowers maybe both. I hadn’t used paper dolls for a super long time. Thank you for sharing. Love , love this project.
They are very pretty! I’ve never made a pop up card before. My favorite is the one with the umbrella! I love when you add them (lace & bling too). 💜
Thank you so much Tonya, they’re just something a bit fun aren’t they? X
Thanks for sharing these ideas, I have lots of paper dolls and don't use them. I thought maybe some stamping in the background would also be adorable. Have a super fantastic day. Sending love and big hugs Sherry 💜💜💜
Love these, super cute idea. Can't wait to try these. My favorite is the one that has the matching ones.
Great idea. Can't wait to make these. 😊

Hi Tina, oh my gosh! What a brilliant idea! These are so cute. I have some Tim Holtz paper dolls that I bought years ago. I think I used a few and hoarded the rest. They are somewhere in my craft room, but I have no idea exactly where. Hugs 😊
Lol, oh Linda you sound so like me, hoarding them, and then not even being able to remember whee you put them to hoard them! 🤭 . Have fun if you find them and make some, x
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏
Tim Holtz is too expensive for me but your vintage or Edwardian ladies would look lovely. from which digital did the first one come from its very pretty,
Try Temu -I got some old photo cards that will be paper dolls when I cut them out. And Temu has every paper crafting item you can imagine.

They are from my English country garden kit x
And also the Victorian floral papers from my shop x
It is sliding up Tina,,lol
Lol, honestly it just really confused me! Haha x
I was worried about the tip of that hot glue gum being sp close to you, and on loose items that could swivel around. Also, tissue is flammable@
Beauitful paper do you sell it?
Thank you Lesley, yes the papers used were from my English country garden kit, and also my Victorian florals kit, all available in my Etsy x
Is that your new glue gun. I just noticed the end is bent, and remember that is why you bought a new one. Don’t understand why that happens.
