There is more musical ability, skill and technique in the first minute of this than in any album release we are fed daily in the mainstream. Good health Michael. I'll save this one. 👍😍
You know something, Michael, I have to say that generally your facility and ease of playing can be quite daunting ( maybe the wrong word... intimidating, maybe?) but actually having watched so many of your videos now I've started to feel more positive and realized something that (although Guitarists are told all the time by more accomplished Guitarists) the knack is to really study a piece, find the easiest way to finger/play it and try to exert the minimalist amount of pressure on the strings when playing. I've started taking a few minutes on pieces/riffs/licks/solos (I thought I knew well) to really listen to the original recordings, study available tabs (but not taking them as scripture) and then really slowing down and analyzing what I'm doing with both the left and right hands... it's amazing the things you discover in phrases you thought you knew well.
"Phrase trainer" running on a touchscreen PC tablet (placed flat so you can use it standing up) cabled to a separate monitor speaker (FRFR) or wedge positioned next to your guitar position. You can repeat a small segment of a track (wav or mp3) by In and Out points. You have to ease the work flow so you can concentrate on each bar you are getting down to nail it. Once you do it to that level you never forget it. Great for Playing UA-cam clips on too. You can skip back with the slider at the bottom using a finger without having to put your pick down.
This is just amazing. Michael it is a joy to listen and see you play all these styles. Do you have any personal album in your name or with a group ? I'd love to get it (on line or in a shop)... By the way may be a piece of information for all our friends guitar players. The best software on Mac are Transcribe ! for video slowdown and Anytune for audio. On iPhone again Anytune for audio and Audiostrech for video slowdown. I do not use Windows so I don't know for this OS.
