A Course in Miracles: "Look, Wait, Judge not."
or in the 12-step program, they offer three questions.
Does it need to be said?
Does it need to be said now?
Does it need to be said now by me?
Or Byron Katie asks: Is it true? Is it really True, who would I be without this truth?
The commandments…. say you shall not lie.
They all know about the power, healing, and possibility that comes with getting right with your words.
Getting right with your words is the threshold to everything. It is a rare man or woman who has a complete handle on the power or understands the degree of integrity required if you want to experience your own extravagant liberation and limitless potential.
Being a member of SpeakEasy… we talk about this idea a lot.
We talk about how to use our words well. As a community of storytellers and wordsmiths, we understand the power of a well-placed word and the intentions that can color it
We teach and encourage affirmative prayer. A prayer that is fresh backed with your own vernacular, we empower people to use their voices to create a life that sings.
But I don’t think the concept is spelled out as well as what we get it from Don Miguel Ruiz and The Four Agreements.
