- This past week I spent on retreat with Kathy Scott and The Trailblazery community. It was a true homecoming during which we connected with our roots and reached toward our Dán.
The Irish word dán has multiple meanings, including:
Poem: Dán can refer to a poem.
Gift, talent, or craft: Dán can also mean a gift, talent, or craft. The word shares its core meaning with the Welsh word dawn, which also means talent or gift. Both words come from the Indo-European word dōn-, which comes from the root dō- meaning "to give".
Destiny: Dán can also mean destiny.
