Forbidden is now super heavy Social and Musical Links: Spotify: open.spotify.com/artist/7gWDx... Instagram: / rustydarlington rustydarlington.bandcamp.com/
I've only heard 2 Tony Martin era songs, Headless Cross and The Shining. I really liked them both, but haven't listened to any of the albums yet. I only really started listening to Sabbath in the last few years. I started at the beginning and I'm listening to all the albums in order and I just finished Born Again, so I'm almost there. Haven't been any that I haven't liked yet, so I'm looking forward to these.
Yeah well unless I go through the entire catalogue again,2 who knows how high it would get 😂 born again would probably still be dead last and never say die would still be pretty low 😂
What is this Tony Martin hype all about? All these albums with him are boring. He sounds like an opera singer, to clean for Sabbath. Even the riffs of Tony are without inspiration. Only the drumming of Cozy is top. RIP Cozy.
Im surprised Forbidden would make anyone's number 2 but it's great that you like it. The remixed version sounds much better than the original.

@@MrHankulley , that would/will be awesome! Fingers crossed.
The Eternal Idol
Cross Purposes
Headless Cross
Tyr
Forbidden
For me, the order is: Headless Cross, Cross Purposes, The Eternal Idol, Tyr, Forbidden.
Eternal idol was written with and for Ray Gilles of Badlands. Tony was shoe horned in.
The Ray Gillen versions are incredible, available on the 2010 Eternal Idol deluxe issue. My favorite of all these albums ranked here.
If you think Forbidden is better than The Eternal Idol or any other Sabbath album, you must be joking.

@@RustyDarlington , Never Say Die is indeed the worst, but Forbidden is probably the second worst. Born again is a shade better than those, I think.

Great albums. Shouldve had a different name
