the fact that you include tony martin era its a big deal ,people ignore him for years he deserve more recognition and his era have some of the best riffs too ,headless cross or the shining are just fire
Finally a complete riff collection of all Black Sabbath era. Some riffs of Dio and Martin era are so underrated... Iommi be blessed! Thank you for this video!!
What an insane amount of great riffs the great Tony gave us. Some others that are great: The Devil Cried, Selling my Soul, Live Forever, Eternal Idol, War Pigs, Swingin the Chain, and pretty much anything off of Dehumanizer. I think we're gonna need a bigger list than 50. Oh, and put Into the Void on there again, since once is not enough for the greatest riff of them all.
Megalomania, The Writ, Hole in the sky, symptom of the universe. Sabotage is a fan-fucking-tasting album and in my opinion is the early riffs to really get the tone of what is todays stoner metal and rock. Also Killing Yourself to live is arguably the best sabbath song ever
I was thinking about how heavy that song was, and how the Beatles really tried everything. But it’s not quite there yet. Sabbath really nailed it with the titled track.
My guitar teacher said that every great guitarist starts by just basically doing the techniques their favorite guitarist does and making it their own. He said his was Eric Clapton and his style came from him. Listening to this singlehandedly made me realize Tony Iommi is mine, I know he's not super flashy but I love his style of riffing
I just listened to these over a glass of whiskey and man Toni Iommi is God and you have done it so well. I just loved the entire thing. So fantastic to hear. The creativity of Iommi and your playing both are beyond words. Black Sabbath rules
Shock Wave - great choice. I think you should have picked the fast riff off 'After All', but it's not a complaint. You covered most albums in this video.
please a second part with many riffs from the Tony Martin era 🙏 which is the one that nobody appreciates but that for me is the best era of Black Sabbath. Excellent your content, I learn a lot with your videos!🤘
1 Into the Void 2 N.I.B. 3 Iron Man 4 Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 5 Symptom of the Universe 6 Supernaut 7 Sweet Leaf 8 Electric Funeral 9 After Forever 10 Paranoid 11 Hole in the Sky 12 A National Acrobat 13 Children of the Grave 14 Zero the Hero 15 The Writ 16 Snowblind 17 Under the Sun 18 The Wizard 19 Conucopia 20 Killing Yourself to Live 21 Tomorrows Dream 22 Faries Wear Boots 23 Behind the Wall of Sleep 24 Black Sabbath 25 War Pigs
pretty good. One small suggestion would be to mention what tuning the guitar is in on each riff. Tony used a lot of different down tunings, E flat down to C#
Great choice and great playing, congratulations again! Just a small detail: it seems to me that between "Wheels of Confusion" and "Hole in the Sky" you play "Cornucopia" riff.
Spectacular!! Thanks, teacher!! finally someone who dares to play riffs from the black sabbath era when he sang tony martin. I congratulate and thank you for that and I ask you to please include more riffs from that era of black sabbath (the era in which tony martin sang, which is the era that I particularly like about black sabbath)
0:45 wish you included the riff after that, it’s one of my favorite riffs of all time. Super fun to play. Even posted it on my channel since I like it so much.
Happy Birthday Tony!!!

You're also unoriginal.
Into the Void is the first riff I think of when it comes to Black Sabbath. So damn raw and groovy
Peter Steele’s favorite riff
Under the Sun is one of the heaviest riffs ever recorded
First time I ever heard it was the zakk sabbath cover and my first thought before checking the song title was "is this a Bolt Thrower song?"
And Cornucopia
0:07 I thought holy wars was gonna start
x2
The inventor of heavy metal. Happy 73rd Tony. Thank you.

You have a point there, bud 🙂

@@VERMILIONGOD thanks brother! You do awesome videos, you play fantastic!!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love that you play the riffs like they are meant to be played. Songs like A national acrobat and Megalomania are pretty hard but you nail them!
Glad you noticed that cos' I always pay a lot of attention to this kind of stuff 🙂
I haven't finished the video yet... but i hope you did the opening riff to "Born Again".

You've done it again my friend!!!!!! You're an amazing guitarist!
Wow, thanks! I'm so pleased 🙃
Nice to see someone playing The Shining, so underated song and one of the Sabbath's best

Awesome, crisp and clean...jus gotta say...fuck the dio years, glad he's worm shit and we still have ozzy
shock wave's closing riff is 10 times better than intro, but anyway cool you picked this song!
Shockwave alone is a song to build a whole LP around it
Great job, you picked some of the lesser known riffs.
Thanks! Glad you like it 🙂
Damn... I never realized how the soundtrack for Early 2000s racing games was already a thing in the 70s before hearing Never Say Die in this video
Yeah, that's insane 🙂
Omg amazing vid!!! 50 riffs from my favorite band of all time! I have that same shirt too!

Hey there! Paying my tribute to the mighty Black Sabbath 🤘
Top 50 is just scratching the surface of the number of incredible riffs this man as created and still creates to this day...
I just listened to these over a glass of whiskey and man Toni Iommi is God and you have done it so well. I just loved the entire thing. So fantastic to hear. The creativity of Iommi and your playing both are beyond words. Black Sabbath rules
Remember when Badger said on Breaking Bad that he would smoke Heinseberg's blue crystal while listening to Sabbath.
