If I may ask. What’s the radius of the curves. I’m very new to building layouts and I’m trying to mix a 009 with the 00 I’ve already started. I’m using scarm to get a basic plan but what I want requires tighter turns that that program lets me do, and none of the radius tools are as tight as I’d like either. The turns you have look as tight if not slightly tighter than I’m needing which would be great to know.
    Thanks for your time.

Hi and thanks for your interest , on this layout i was using a Peco small England engine and Bachmann Hunslets which will easily handle 8inch radius and thats whats on this layout as i had plenty of room to play with but if you check out the fun milk churn that is a 4.1/2 inch radius and works very well with no problems , im building an 009 at the moment using 5 inch rad on all if not most of the plan but the idea is to hid as many of the curves as possible , good look with your build,i hope we see it coe together on here, Happy modelling Carl

@@carlroberts2539 thank you for you help. I to have a princess loco to run on my laybout. I’ve a basic loop using the Peco starter set I got at xmass plus a few extra set pieces and from that I’m doing the tight stuff using flexi track, the radiuses you’ve said will all work great thank you.
