- Saturday 24th September 2022, saw the return of the Small & Delightful Narrow Gauge Model Railway Exhibition, hosted by the Small & Delightful Railway Group at Compton Dundon Village Hall, Somerset.
The show featured no less than 20 visiting narrow gauge layouts and dioramas in a variety of gauges and scales, plus the 009 Society Trade Stand and other trade.

So much going on in this layout, drivers in all cabs, superb. Such attention to detail in such a small scale. Sets the bar rather high for other modellers to aspire to.

What a beautiful surprise to see the Small and Delightful Group video. As a former member in the good old 'Shepton' days before my emigration to Germany, it made me feel 15years younger! The filming was so smooth and unhurried and above all, the modelling standards were superb. Well done to all and ,Yes, Howard's request has my full backing.....next time show the Lion's Ladies' Luverly Cakes...Ahhh, the good old days. Frank Hodsman, Konstanz.
Many thanks Frank! Totally agree there, was luck enough to visit the last Shepton Show, just wish I knew about it sooner. The Small and Delightful shows have always managed to keep up the quality, though on a smaller scale. Certainly best cakes on the circuit no doubt!!!

Absolutely beautiful! The chickens in the yard were brilliant. Spotted the Roy C. Link - got to see a large bit of his collection at a narrow gauge meet this summer.

Fantastic models and scenery.
I know it's a model railway show, but seemed a little hectic showing off the models ....
Would possibly have been nice seeing the canal boat gliding up and down a little ...

Took me all day to film this show from opening to doors closing. Sadly the canal boat doesn't move. Always worth a visit in person at the next one 👍

Just came across this really nice video! Nice detailed pikes. DC or DC ? Looks like what I know as N scale track.
Smashing layout guys, what scale is it? It looks like a gauge 1 train on a oscale track.
The voice at the start talking about it being yellow soumds like Jeff Stewart from the Bill

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, as did anyone else who attended the show. Certainly was a very popular one. Well worth a visit!
