Hi Linda! I never want your videos to end! You always seem to capture the true beauty in all your videos. Just like taking us along to pick out a tree, you have that unique way of making me feel like I’m right there with you and Ben. Your videos always make me feel so welcoming and friendly, and most of all inspiring! You make the best videos ever! Love all you purchases in this video, can’t wait to see more!
One hack that occurred to me for your topiary balls is to screw a washer to the top on the stick and work it in from above. The washer should do a pretty good job of anchoring it. For the bottom I might cut the top off a garden stake, drill through from the bottom, and screw that as well. That might do a good job of keeping the stake in the soil. We get some crazy winds here too, especially when rain is coming. Wind sweeps down from the mountains and will carry away pillows, umbrellas, and even chairs! LOL. You’ve inspired me to do more decorating in front. I have a plethora of lights up for the first time, and an outdoor tree, but since I endure 11 months of lack for one month of pure joy, it’s occurring to me that I should step up my game! 😅
I loved seeing the old popcorn popper. Growing up that is all my father used to make popcorn. He made delicious popcorn and then poured butter all over it. Yum. Merry Christmas!
Good mourning kindred spirit. I must say I love your creativity and sweet added gestures to your videos. I love the blue top. The skates are such a find. Linda, you are my mentor, I enjoy your style. You make life so enjoyable. Going to copy your urns.
SNOW❤❤😂😂🎉🎉 I'M so envious.😂 If you get too much, send it to Southeastern Kentucky.😂😂😂😂I love your tree. I'd never heard of it before. Thank you for a lovely video
Linda..use a magnet to determine real silver from plate..the magnet does not stick to sterling silver. Also sterling has a soft patina and a "sweet" smell
Oh Linda, those vintage ice skates are perfect for your home! They remind me of the roller skates we used to put on our shoes as children! I also love the trivets, I have a couple of bronze/brass trivets that decorate my kitchen wall when not in use, and they do come in handy for placing hot casseroles on!!
Before adding live greens to the topiary balls in the urns, bend some heavy wire into a U shape and use it to secure the topiaries, pushing the wire ends deeply into the soil. The live greens will hide the wire. Even a coat hanger would work.
This is the most relaxing youtube channel I watch. It's full of useful and creative tips. And it inspires me to make my home a beautiful place for my family 🌲
The wooden cranberry garlands and popcorn popper bring back memories from my childhood. We had the cranberries on our tree, and as I recall, popping the corn took some practice to get it right. The first batch was almost always a dud.
Dear Linda, I find your videos as enjoyable and entertaining as Hallmark, holiday movies. The best part is that I ALWAYS learn something while watching them. Thank you, SO much... ❤️🎄💚
Thank you, Linda, for sharing so much of your life with us. You are so blessed, yet so down to earth - I really appreciate that! Enjoy the holiday preparations! ☃️❄☃️
Linda, that blouse would have been a bargain at 5x the price. I too like to decorate slowly, often adding little bits right up to Christmas day. Hope the plastic topiary balls stay put for you. I saw those at my last TJM visit. It's windy at my front door also. My concrete planters are huge ovals so I need something much larger. I've been contemplating using faux, but I need something 3 ft tall or they won't show up since my house sits 150 ft back from the street. I laugh when my friends compliment me on how neat my yard looks. It's neat looking when you're passing by at 75 mph. =)
Hello Linda ! Enjoy your channel so much, can hardly wait for the reveal of each of your videos. I'm so pleased and eager to see more frequent videos during the week, its always a joy to spend time "with" you, to learn, and chat over a cup of tea!! Thank You!
Oh my gosh! I’m so jealous of your lifestyle! Lol. I love EVERYTHING you do. I live in CA now, but was born in MA… I still have a lot of family there. I will be going to my nieces wedding in Sturbridge this New Year’s Eve. Can’t wait to enjoy the “real” holiday feeling.
Enjoyed the outing to get the tree in Ben's truck that I love so much. I used to get Fraser firs when my kids were little. The Fralsam sounds like the best of both. My favorite of your finds is the brown leather skates. I went to an antique mall with daughter and granddaughter 2 yesterday and came home with a dark brown leather horse collar. ( hoss collar to you 😂) It will hang in the dining or living room. The blue blouse looks great on you!
It's going to be a great December...fun and creativity and beautiful things and yummy food and friends and family and church activities and celebrating Jesus and more Linda ...life is grand 💝😊
Good morning Linda, I have never heard of a Christmas tree by that name, however it is a gorgeous tree. I used to get real ones and my boys and I would always go for a big one, until one year we came home with a gorgeous big tree, made a fresh cut put it in the stand and watered it. We decided we would go out to eat and let the tree rest. Well when we came home my walls and ceiling was covered in spiders. I am scared to death of spiders I don’t care how big or small they are they have no business in my home. lol. We did get rid of them but that was the last year for a real tree. We always got Fraser Fir trees. Can’t wait to see yours when it’s done. Love your videos!
Linda, I love where you are going with Christmas. The tree is so pretty and you always have the best tips. Love your outfit, too! TFS, until your next video! 😘
Hi Linda, your tree is beautiful… can’t wait to see how you dress her. This is also my personal favorite type of tree, when we could find one. Love your blouse too, it’s your color and the trivet, what a great find! Enjoy your week, love finding an extra surprise video, from you. 💝
Good morning A beautiful tree, I can smell it from here Great finds A great idea, love the nutcracker in the lantern Also love love the front pots Great idea I am using it Thank you once again Love love this veido
I LOVE those boots and skates! You could add red wool socks poking out of boots and add fresh holly sprigs by sticking small jars inside the boots. Or ...a small package in boot tops...or cloth candy canes etc...I also love your blouse and it 2ould look lovely with a long silk tartan skirt or a velvet midnight blue dress or skirt.
The tree is beautiful. I love the Christmas videos. I’m watching all the old episodes while I “patiently “ wait for your weekly videos. Would love to see some diy ornaments. Enjoy the day
Always enjoy seeing your finds! The tree is one of the prettiest ones I’ve ever seen! 🌲 The blouse is very pretty, you look great in blues! Looking forward to your holiday decor’ videos. I have white skates but those are unique and I love the color! Have a peaceful day! Thanks for posting the video! ⛄️ ❤
Hello Linda, I just wanted to let you know how very much I enjoy watching you. I was thrilled to visit your area a few years ago. (I’ve been a New Englander in my heart for as long as I ca remember!) Your calm and sweet demeanor are a balm to the spirit. Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride. And… you inspired our Christmas Window this year!!! We took our dried hydrangeas, used the metallic spray and made a Christmas Tree dress. We are so pleased and we are getting raves from our customers!!! So thank you, we are definitely crediting you with our inspiration! I’d include photos but I’m not savvy enough to do that. ;) Wishing you a tremendously blessed day and a big hug. -Julie
Good afternoon Linda! First, the blue blouse is gorgeous on you! I’m enjoying seeing your Christmas decor and styling as you go along! I especially love the brown leather boots used as skates! They look more unique than typical skates especially with your house’s age and character! Looking forward to the upcoming Christmas videos! Thank you so much! 🎄💕
Love the Antique Ice Skates plus adding them to a Wreath! (Is Good Queen Bess ready to retire? She has served well!) One of my favorites at my house is a small artificial green tree decorated with a variety if Antique Baby/Doll Shoes. Enjoy your all of your seasonal prep!
The thrift stores around me don’t have anything like that. Maybe antique stores I am in love with the ice skates tree looks beautiful. Happy to hear more videos will be coming!!!!!
Good morning Linda 💜 thank you so much for sharing your videos. Thank you for the great idea on putting The tube nside the Christmas tree I never thought about that have a blessed weekend you and your beautiful family.
Good morning, Linda. Thanks for sharing your haul. l have several lanterns and enjoy decorating them year round. Can't wait to see your Christmas 2023 videos. Have a nice day.
Your videos are something I look forward to every Sunday, but I will keep my eye open for some during the week! I am looking forward to seeing Sugarwood get all dressed for the season!
What a great idea!! Using those topiary balls! In Minnesota, I’m screwed, my dirt is frozen solid! 😂 If I can somehow get a stick in it I will do the same! Thanks Linda!
You are making me want to move to New England!!! Back to my roots! Love, love to watch your videos! Your home is beautiful and I always love to see what you’re up to! Maybe it’s hopeless, but I still check to see if you have any more Christmas boxes that are available! 😬
Definitely recognized the pineapple trivet! I worked at a furniture store in the 90's and ordered one for myself and one for my uncle from Virginia Metalcrafters. Also ordered a fretwork mirror and 2 Hubley-style Scottie doorsteps for my Mom and myself. Sad to hear they are now out of business. You inspired me to dry some orange slices today for my tree while I start decorating for Christmas. 🎄 Have a wonderful weekend!
Fun fact the Brown Swiss cows do a parade at the National Dairy Show in Wisconsin and they each wear a garland around their necks and their handlers wear traditional Swiss clothing. Remincent of your painting.
From the start we collected most things Williamsburg and if Virginia Metalcrafters made it, we saved up and bought it... great collection today... sorry to hear the company retired.. The "skates" are a nostalgic treasure - you have some eye - and the blue top enhances your features and a good choice for dress-up. The tree is perfection...and I could go on to overflowing, but suffice to say you are endearing and so endeared... heritagehall
Looking forward to more of your videos! You always have such creative ideas. We’re getting our tree earlier this year, and I’ve already got two parties on the calendar that I’m hosting. I’m especially excited to put out the items from my New England Christmas box! Planning ahead and staying organized is the name of the game as always!
Linda, thank you for another enjoyable video. You never disappoint. You are so engaging and inspiring. I always learn something new from your creative ideas and experiences. I am anxious to see the videos that you will be sharing and the finished product of your beautifully decorated home for Christmas. Your channel is award- winning. May God continue to bless you and all your endeavors. From New York City. Robert.
I was surprised that the tree growers didn’t have them in a bucket of water. When we get for trees here in Georgia they are in a bucket of water and then they cut the bottom off again for you. Merry Christmas!
Love that concept, but we can't do that here or they would freeze IN the buckets. I used to put trees in water when I got them home. Most times I remembered to put them in a garage or porch. Once I left it outside and I had to thaw the water with hot water before bringing it in the house. LOL
Thank you to you and Ben for the most informative and interesting videos. You are like a well that never runs dry with not only ideas but the visualization behind your choices. Looking forward to the next decorating videos! 🌹🌹🌹
Your “getting ready” for Christmas and decorating videos are so soothing to watch. I am so ready to get the tree set up and decorated so we can enjoy the season longer! Could you tell me what the name is of the green paint you use in your home? We want to paint a bedroom in green. It is upstairs in a Cape style home where the ceiling slants on two sides making lower walls to paint and two other walls are full height. I love the colors in your whole house!
Another great video, Linda. It's already beginning to look a lot like Christmas in your lovely, gracious New England home. I'm excited to try to emulate some of your Christmas decor ideas.
Hi Linda from Nova Scotia. Been watching your channel for about 2 years off and on. Really love your channel. Started watching your videos from wayback when. ❤❤❤
I purchased the dried oranges from Homestead Primitives atTwin Elm . I’ve already added them to my Victorian-themed Tree. The scent is lovely! Fun video- your videos are so clear and the colors so vibrant!

Hi Linda from Indiana, we are having a little snow fall today so pretty ! Your tree is a very nice shape! I was looking at real tree here and like everything else the prices sure went up ! I bet that was fun going to get the tree in Ben's old woody , or it is not a woody?? You find some real treasurers , I love the Pineapple and look forward to the stories, love those history stories!! Kindred Spirits Paula
Linda, that is some beautiful Christmas tree. I’m sure when you’re done decorating it’s going to be an absolute masterpiece! Also, I am green with envy that you scored that beautiful brass pineapple for only $11. I’m sure you agree that getting a bargain is always a good thing! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, and let the Christmas festivities begin!!🎄🎄🎄
You know, I actually waited for you to say (of the dried oranges) Ooo, that smells good!" Thanks for not disappointing me.... 🙂 I am afraid that MY Christmas decor consists of three short strand of battery-driven fairy lights, and about 7 different-sized baubles in shades of vintage purple and duck egg - there is simply not any horizontal spaces for more. But my daughter has just bought her first house, and she always goes to town with decorations! I expect to see a tall tree with a theme of some kind for decorations, plus all manner of other things, when I go to have Christmas lunch with her. My immediate neighbour has several really cute Santas - some start talking when someone walks past! And our communal hall is always so beautifully decorated by our entertainment committee.....

I always feel like we’re just talking with one another which is very pleasant. Also love your fresh Christmas tree.
Good morning Linda! Watching your videos is such a treat. I am looking forward to seeing the whole house Christmas tour. 🎄
It will be difficult to watch these short videos..I love watching you do all your magic on Sundays..you have spoiled me, Linda.
I understand❤
You could always wait until Sunday and watch all of the new weekday ones if there are any
I loved seeing the old popcorn popper. Growing up that is all my father used to make popcorn. He made delicious popcorn and then poured butter all over it. Yum. Merry Christmas!

It was wonderful meeting you at the Candlelight in Sturbridge event. I am discovering all your videos now!
I also have two iron urns and love the idea of putting a topiary in them. This video flew by too quickly. Looking forward to shorts!
Your Christmas tree is a beauty. I have not heard of a Fralsam tree. The Christmas tree trivet is a choice piece. Looking forward to seeing more.

The tree has a beautiful shape-waiting for it to be decorated😊. Love all the thrift finds-the blue top looks great on you!
Thank you! 😊
Good Morning! The things you find are so unique! Have a Great day!
From the start we collected most things Williamsburg and if Virginia Metalcrafters
made it, we saved up and bought it... great collection today... sorry to hear the

Hello Ms. Linda. I'm looking forward for your Kitchen decoration.
I was surprised that the tree growers didn’t have them in a bucket of water. When we get for trees here in Georgia they are in a bucket of water and then they cut the bottom off again for you. Merry Christmas!

Love your Xmas tree. Tfs
On your topiary ball. I have them too. I added a piece of wire to the wood stick and topiary to keep it from flying away.
Noted and will most likely do! Thank you!
