Your Dining room and Tavern turned out beautiful with your Christmas decor and sweet Willow is so precious to share her toys with the family. I sure hope Santa is extra good to her this year.
Willow sharing her toys was so sweet! Things are looking so beautiful! Hard to believe that only a year ago , your kitchen was quite torn up! You are working magic!
My mother taught me to wrap gifts and make my own bows, but I took my skill to a new level by watching my father. He wrapped a gift for my mother as I watched, and the corners and tucks were so even and crisp, I couldn't believe my eyes! He never did reveal how he learned to wrap gifts so perfectly, but I now know how he did it.
Hi Linda - Here's a thought. Cut 2 rectangles the same size out of the copper paper, a little larger than the quail, and glue the white sides together before you trace the quail onto the copper paper. That way when you trim it out, the 2 pieces will be exactly the same size.
Linda, your dining and tavern rooms are so Christmas cozy! The quail ornaments are perfect on the kitchen tree. How adorable is Willow to share her toys!! I can't wait for your whole house tour. 🎄❤🐕
Linda, you have outdone yourself ! I just love the decor with the fruit and the skinny little tree with the minimalist decorations very of that period. The tavern looks so amazing and so cozy. If I had your home I’d never leave . Blessings to you and your family.
Once again, Linda, you immediately draw us in with perfect music accompanied by beautiful images of your home! Willow’s gesture to the annual visiting fox was so precious. Absolutely love all the decorations-the icicle tree was a favorite and your wreath splendid! The copper quail ornaments are lovely and a great project. Thank you again and again for inviting us in!
Once again Willow has stolen my heart. Aren't dogs wonderful?! I especially like the partridge ornaments, but everything you do is simply the best. I get so much from your videos. ❤️🌲
I love your fox tree. Really cute. (What a sweet gesture Willow made.) You know back in the day, the decorated trees that my parents had were nothing like today's trees. These days, anything goes. People are so creative with what they come up with.
Linda, you have a lovely home and you never fail to inspire me to try out a new spin on things. That Willow gets the talent from momma. Have a blessed day!
Linda, your hubby found a real gem when he found you. You have raised a sweet Willow to be unselfish with his toys...it the magic of Christmas. Thank you ~
Good morning, beautiful video. I had to pause the video as soon as I saw the crystals on your tree, I had a bag of them collecting dust, not anymore. The perfect finishing touch on my kitchen tree. I also stopped the last video to buy the Christmas cottage book. It is beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a blessed holiday.
Gosh Linda I wish I could just visit your house! It’s absolutely beautiful! A big hug to Willow for having such a kind , beautiful heart! How adorable is that, sharing her toys? Just melted my heart!
Things are so festive. I'm wrapping all my gifts in red plaid paper this year. You are so clever with your crafts. I'm sitting here surrounded with Christmas decor and my creativity seems to be nonexistent today. So I'm turning into my inspiration ladies to give me some ideas. I think the fox tree is my favorite. ❤
EVERYthing is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. I Ioved every bit of this video, from beginning to end. That TAVERN is so incredibly magnificent. (I watched that part twice.) Thank you, for sharing all of this with us, Linda.❤️🎄💚🤗
You have created such a lovely home, Linda. Comfortable and relaxed, but elegant and refined, too, especially with Willow adding the final touches! Thank you so much for sharing, and Season’s Greetings from 🇬🇧.
I so love your tavern room and the fox tree, so thank your for sharing them again. I'm quite partial to foxes, horses, hounds and traditional equestrian motifs, so I always enjoy seeing them in your decor. How sweet of Willow to share her favorite toy and ball with the fox under the tree, too! Clever girl! I also love your quail ornaments. I adore quails (and pheasants), so I might have to try making some ornaments, too - thank you for that inspiration, as well. A few years ago, I had a very small flock of quail wander into my yard and under an evergreen tree one August, which was so unexpected and such a treat. I do have a small wooded area adjacent to my back yard, but I'd never seen quail in the area. They were delightful, but eventually wandered away, although not before I took several photos of their brief visit. So fun!
Love the facade of your home and your diligence in keeping it colonial. Every room inside is a marvel-I could see men in powered wigs and embroidered waistcoats along with their “ladies” in flowing gowns made of sumptuous fabrics. You’ve hit the ball out of the park on this transformation Linda!
Everything you do is so wonderful. Your home looks magnificent, and I love beautiful Willow's contribution, and how she knew to place her favorite toys is priceless. 😍🙌
Linda, not sure it happened this way but a few months ago when I discovered you, I told Josie about you, because she said she wanted to come to New England. it was back in early fall I believe. I said you both lived in gorgeous period homes and that you were a true expert designer and I loved watching you. She mentioned you after that and you mentioned her today. I love her Vlogs as I love yours. Your home looks beyond beautiful! Thank you so much for the extra Christmas Vlogs!! Janet
Hi, wow! I know that episode and I reached out to her when she said that. She got back to me seconds later and we chatted a little. She said she was literally watching my channel when the message came in. Maybe it was your comment! I do like to just sit and join her on her day when I can.
♥@@newenglandfineliving I also told my friends all about you and Josie:) I even shared your vlogs on my Facebook page. We all religiously watch. A few of us are true kindred spirits and absolutely love our New England roots and of course we love England as well. Linda, have you and Ben been to England? My last trip we did take a private tour of the Cotswold's and we are hoping to go back for a few weeks. We will see. Thank you so much for responding. It is very lovely of you to do so!! Janet
The ambience of your home....it is enchanting, magical and inviting. It is what Christmas looks like to me. Love all your trees but I have to say that the dining room tree is my favorite.
Morning Linda, the house truly looks like a story book. You have done a wonderful job. I know it has taken many hours to accomplish all your decorations. Thank you for sharing. Huge for Willow
Today is New Year's day, Christmas has passed all the gifts and meals over . Unfortunately I have COVID and find myself still watching Holiday decorating video's. What are we all going to do now that it's over ??? I'm really going to miss all the decorations and joyous occasions! Kind of funny I started off the season not really into it this year but once I put up the tree that old magic came back and I was IN all the way! Thank you Linda for all your wonderful videos!
Beautiful, Linda - your home is not only elegant it also so warm, cozy and inviting. I wish you and you husband and your entire family a wonderful and blessed Christmas 🎄.
You could use a metallic copper colored sharpie around the edges of the birds to cover up the white. I find the metallic sharpie set to be useful for so many things.
The Christmas decorations are beautiful! I was going to suggest modge podge for the quail but it looks like your process worked just fine. You can practically modge podge over anything and get the shape/texture you want. It broke my heart to see that Willow left toys for the fox, I recently lost my standard poodle and she was the sweetest best friend anybody could have.
Dear Willow, how cute to give her toy & ball to Fox!… Your trees are just splendid Linda & how inventive are the cut out quail decorations. Love the Tavern look & the gorgeous Christmas Wreath… great video..more please!..🎄
Thank you! I think it might be the plan for future years as long as I can keep finding the greens for under the windows (unless of course I make them).
Right as you put the 2 copper paper birds together, when you were crafting...there was this chirping in my ear, seriously!... a bird in the bush, right behind me in my sitting room, where I watch video was chirping away through my window... was pretty cute!
Just wanted to let you know you have been a god send to me I’ve had the flu really down could do anything but watch tv so started watching your videos from beginning we are indeed kindred spirits they have kept me from going bonkers here recovering from the flu. The quail/partridges turned out great, and fit on the kitchen tree so well with the fruit pictures. You are truly so creative. I love watching your videos!

Thank goodness I finished my decorating and shopping for gifts prior to getting sick. Your home is the perfect example of what a New England home should look like at Christmas time…. So warm and inviting and very inspiring!🎄🎄🎄
Inspiring and beautiful, Linda. I especially love the traditional English look of the tavern room. It really turned out wonderful. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I love the chandelier crystals on your tree in your dining room. What a great idea! I am always on the hunt for the icicle ornaments. I love how they look on a tree.
Beautiful Linda😍. The love you put into your home is over the top wonderful. I’ve been very inspired by your videos and hope there are many more to come in the next year❤️
I’ve watched this video several times. The boughs of pine under the windows outside visually shows how having window boxes would look. I know it’s been mentioned, my opinion deep large ones would bring structure, and fill in for seasonal interest and beauty. ❤ 🪴 ❄️
The wreath is lovely! My favorite look! Willow is so kind (like her owners) sharing her favorite toy with the fox. Your ornaments are the perfect touch for the tree. What a terrific idea! Thank you so much.
Few days ago after watching your short video, "Josie" popped up on my UA-cam feed. Guess YT thinks she a kindred spirit, too! Linda, do you think you enjoy decorating Sugarwood more maybe, because you know it's your forever home. And you have remolded to your style and likes?
I just love to decorate. I used to do about 5 to 6 other homes each holiday as well for clients. I have no idea how I found the time LOL
Your home is always magical, but especially so at Christmas and Halloween! I hope your business announcement is that New England Fine Living magazine is going to be published again. I’ll be the first subscriber! Merry Christmas to my favorite You Tuber! 🎄
Hi Pam, That is not the announcement, but I do hope and have plans to produce some sort of publication for next year. Not sure if it will be a special magazine issue or a coffee table book. It will happen if I can keep myself focused LOL.
You never cease to amaze your kindred spirits with your beautiful creations. Thank you for sharing the copper craft. Willow touched my heart with the sharing of her favorite toys. ❤ Your videos are the very first thing that I watch with my wake-up coffee. Love to you and yours. Angel hugs from Florida. ❤. PS, How old is Willow?
@@noreenpouliot3403Willow will be turning five on December 21st
Beautiful all the way!🎄
