Jordan Blanchard FALSE! protons cannot be transferred along with neutrons unless nuclear fission occurs. electrons can be transferred because it is located on the outer shell of an atom called a valence shell while protons and neutrons are stuck in the nucleus.
Some were fair mentions, but come on: Blurred Lines and Get Lucky, you'd have to had been living on another planet for the last 5 years to not know those!
as a pharrell fan from way back in the 90s and 200s when he and Chad (Neptunes) were running the game, i'm glad that they made this to teach the younger generation that Pharrell is a LEGEND. that being said, why bother feature the songs he sung on. almost anything pharrell sung on he co-wrote and in many cases produced. if you're gonna make a list like this of songs people wouldn't know he wrote, then make a list with songs he was not featured on. that way it's less obvious and has more of a surprise factor
Pharrell wrote album tracks for MJ so he could produce his album, MJ said no. Instead he split the tracks and gave them to Usher and JT. They both used the tracks as a base for their albums and both went to #1. He's crazy talented.
+Mark vangard lol true man. The Neptunes pretty much dominated the early to late 2000s, i knew alot of songs around that time were Neptunes productions just cause of their signature sound. The bangin ass drums especially!
Jayz -I know Jay-Z blue magic Jay z-excuse me miss Jayz change clothes Jay z fuck all night Jay Z Allure Jay z I just want to love you Nore-super thug Nore-nothing Mase-looking at me Busta Rhymes -pass the corvossieu Clipse-grindin Clipse-wamp wamp Clipse-popeyes T.I-freak though Nelly-play it off Nelly- flap your wings Justin Timberlake -senorita Justin Timberlake -like I love you Ray j- wait a minute Wrecks n Effects -rumpshaker Baby-what happened to that boy LL Cool j - love you better Usher- you don't have to call Omarion -touch Mariah Carey -say something
Mr.Pharell is so gifted and hard working person! I'm quite old lady from very small village in Poland but even I heard all of these songs on the radio and I enjoy hearing them many times a lot! True artist! :)
False. Half the album was Timbaland, and the Neptunes produced tracks had writing from Latrelle Simmons who many of you probably never heard of. She wrote many vocal parts on Justified including Nothing Else which she actually sang for thr demo they pitched to Justin in the studio. Also not giving credit to Chad Hugo is pretty much criminal. Pharrell is still a genius, but so is Chad Hugo. Do your research folks!
Thank you. I learned something. I never thought about if he wrote the songs he performed in as he is talented singer in his own right and plenty of singers never write their own music, that's nothing unusual. Him writing for himself and others is talent personified. Didnt know he was 40 (still looks in his teens, black don't crack O_O) . My respect for him just went up several notches.
Here's some more that didn't make the list. His talent transcends more than 1 specific genre. 1. No Doubt-- "Hella Good" 2. Busta Rhymes- "Pass the Courvoisier", "What it is" 3. Fabolous- "Holla Back Youngin" 4. Snoop Dogg-- "From tha Church to the Palace", "Beautiful", "Let's Get Blown" 5. Ludacris -- "Southern Hospitality"-- One of my personal Favorites! 6. Mariah Carey-- "Say Something" 7. NORE -- "Nothin", "SupaThug"
Dude, I saw N.E.R.D. open for Hoobastank at a free concert in Atlanta. I had no idea who they were till they got on stage & I recognized pharrell from a Clipse music video. They killed it that day dude. I remember they closed with Rock Star and it was the song of my summer after I heard it. I liked N.E.R.D.
Lyrical genius....... “My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard” “It’s getting hot in here so take off all your clothes” “when the pigs try to get at ya drop it like it’s hot”
+thatsjas2 Agreed, but after I listened in it does have his sound. But most of the great producers have their own sound and you know it when you hear it.. Dr. Dre, Swiss Beats just to name....
I know all you HATERS heard this before : If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!! The words you speak are just a reflection of yourself!

Pretty obvious stuff here. They should've included stuff like the Tokyo Drift Theme for Fast and Furious; Tokyo Drift. "I wonder if you know, have you been to Tokyoooooo"
I feel like the Jacksons turn down great songs so others have a chance. Imagine if Janet did Slave and Michael did Rock your body, I don't think Britney or Justin would be in the exact places they are (not saying they aren't great, because they are) but people draw similarities between Michael and Justin and Janet and Britney
There wasn't a single one I didn't know there are a lot more obscure ones than these. Like he has a writing credit on Rump Shaker by Wreckx n Effect all the way back in 1992. Also pretty much any hit by Luda. But yeah these where the most obvious ones except for the Adam Lambert one.
If your A fan of Pharell you would notice his work. Most of his beats has A fast tempo and has A pop twist to it. While his chorus are simple but very catchy.
Can y’all just appreciate her showing love and recognition to a legend?? 🙄 not everyone knows these things especially the younger generation who are up and coming...gtfoh
I think it’s fair to say that if Pharrell is doing vocals, he did the production as well. But yeah the ones with his vocals make 110% sense as to him being the writer, or at least one of them.

Everything he touches turns to gold
Jordan Blanchard FALSE! protons cannot be transferred along with neutrons unless nuclear fission occurs. electrons can be transferred because it is located on the outer shell of an atom called a valence shell while protons and neutrons are stuck in the nucleus.
Yes, when we're talking literally, you are correct of course... But there's something called talking symbolically.
Jordan Blanchard agreed
Aerochalklate @.@
Tumble Butt
Should be called 10 songs you probably knew Pharrell wrote.
spot on!
Yeah, same music style in most tracks, specially the rhythm section.
Some were fair mentions, but come on: Blurred Lines and Get Lucky, you'd have to had been living on another planet for the last 5 years to not know those!
GD3Media ..
lmao he's in the music video of almost all the songs on the list

Wow, I never knew Pharrell was involved with all of those hits. I have such respect for him now. Such a talented man.

All this is common knowledge to true Pharrell fans. I'm glad to see pharrell elevate to an even higher level of success with his run over the last 2 years. But to me the golden era will always be the "In Search of..." ,"Lord Willin", "Justified", "Neptunes Present the Clones" days. Remember the first time you saw the frontin video? Remember the first time you saw the Maybe n.e.r.d video?!!! These moments changed my life. I was the kid with the the BBC fox crotch jeans and the Wonder Women bapes lol (those who know, know). Man I miss those days. Star Trak Forever!
He also produced "Right Here" by S....W....V....
and apparently Wrecks N Effects "Rump Shaker"
You mean Mickaël Jackson
Derrick he co-produced the remix beat with the Human Nature sample.
Teddy Riley Did
He definitely did rump shaker WITH teddy Riley when he was 17 I literally watched an interview about it
"Hollaback girl", "Rock your body" and "Milkshake" was written by Pharrell? Mkay man, you are a genius!!
The milkshake lady in the car just killed me 😂😂😂
He and Chad are amazing! They have been making hits since way back with TLC and such. They work with different genres. They are just amazing! Geniuses!

Adam Lambert at 6:35 :) Damn, Pharrell gave him an awesome song!
We could've done without the commentary
This show's hosts try too hard. Please stop making it about you and make it more about the story you are presenting.
Then don't watch it.
i cringed so much at this video.
shame cause it's a really good video ruined by some dumb girl
I use to be absolutely in love with Pharrell when I was in my teens. lol One of Pharrell's influences was Micheal Jackson.
Pretty obvious stuff here.
They should've included stuff like the Tokyo Drift Theme for Fast and Furious; Tokyo Drift.
"I wonder if you know, have you been to Tokyoooooo"
zlistcelebrity i wonder if you know, HOW THEY LIVE IN TOKYO, fast and furious. right?
Lol yeah. All that.
"Fast and FURIOUS!!!! DRIFT!! DRIFT!!" lol I think that's the lyrics haven't listened to the song in a brick 😂😂
zlistcelebrity Yeah ho.. I mean hot n here..
I mean.. didn't mean to send reply on this one
Valid statement!
Oh i see the connection
for some reason I thought prince wrote song...
Michael was an astronomical force, anything he sang was powerful
There wasn't a single one I didn't know there are a lot more obscure ones than these. Like he has a writing credit on Rump Shaker by Wreckx n Effect all the way back in 1992. Also pretty much any hit by Luda. But yeah these where the most obvious ones except for the Adam Lambert one.
none of this this shit is news.... if you hear the beats you knew he had his hand in all of them
low key
TRU
+James Turner they just discovered Pharrell.
true
Exactly. "Pharrell helped write the songs he and the neptunes produced!" Duhh, wtf.
Sooo basically every song Pharrell is featured on... Yea I already knew that.
If your A fan of Pharell you would notice his work. Most of his beats has A fast tempo and has A pop twist to it. While his chorus are simple but very catchy.
Do songs you didn't know were written by Lady Gaga c:
Yeah it would be nice but she wrote only for Britney
abood bdw and to Jennifer Lopez
abood bdw google it. She wrote for many more
Fergie too. And the Pussycat Dolls. Etc;
love gaga
He's already a legend.
I think everyone nose(the misspelling is intentional ) that pharrell wrote these songs
No. And I never heard 6 of them.
IM BOUTA SCREAM JAJDGGDJGDJJKSJK
Yup. Knew all of these but ive been a Pharrell fan for a loooong time.
Alannah Jones ooh she on fire
Can y’all just appreciate her showing love and recognition to a legend?? 🙄 not everyone knows these things especially the younger generation who are up and coming...gtfoh
Wth it looks like he never aged

Use your heart -SWV. #R&B 1995
this video should be called: 10 songs everybody knew where written by Pharrel
Giorgio Oehlers not everyone 🤷🏽♀️
I think it’s fair to say that if Pharrell is doing vocals, he did the production as well. But yeah the ones with his vocals make 110% sense as to him being the writer, or at least one of them.
Neptunes, he’s gifted 🤘🏾
"Bahrittney Spears" "Ahrobbin Thicke"
if your a pharrell fan or follow any of his music you WILL know if it was production or written by him.
LXRYLXRYTV h
He also wrote some of beyonce songs.
which ones?
Tyanna King"Work It Out", "My First Time", "Kitty Kat", "Green Light", "Blow" and "Superpower"
everything have to be about beyonce? This man have produce music for alot people damn!
blade brown thanks alot
i didn't even know he wrote that much songs for her
He also did "I just wanna love you" - Jay Z
Also “Excuse me Miss”
Anyone more concerned about the safety and health of that python on stage with Spears?
😎 Dude Pharrell is a genius
"10 Songs You Didn't Know Pharrell Wrote" first one is a song he features on and definitely co-wrote...Ight imma head out
Only one I didn't know was the Adam lambert one. Pharrell is definitely a legend
I wish she would have started with Pharell's first major project he was part of at age 12 or 13 with "Rump Shaker" by Wreckx-N-Effect. i actually still remember when i herd this song on the radio when it was released, man it was the jam.
A lot of people knew he wrote all these 😂😂😂 these are his most iconic and featured and half of them
This video was for kids who think Happy was his debut single
Right.
I knew all of these, thanks for nothing.
Right 😂😂
+Sanchez Ernie123 sounds like a personal problem
This is for ppl who aren't familiar with N.E.R.D. or Pharell's early production style. I like his tracks...older and newer stuff (the actual music not necessarily the lyrics)
Can you please make a video like this but with gaga so it would called: "10 songs you didnt no were was written by Lady Gaga"
Doesn't she cowrite all of her own songs and thats it
No i think she wrote more songs Mack D
She wrote songs for J. lo, Ferige, Britney Spears, the Pussycat Dolls, etc;
Also, there's times where she writes her songs by herself, like in her song "Speechless"
Gwen Stefani - Can i have it like that" was also produced by him
Yes! It's one of my favorite songs. He wrote Use Your Heart by SWV too.
Ellie A That's Pharell's song not Gwen's. Gwen was featured.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that song!
The way Pharell and the Neptunes ruled the radio in the early 2000's should have been top 20 songs
Do (number) songs You didn't know Taylor Swift have written- To other singers!
...The best Album you didn't know was produced by Pharrell: Hell Hath No Fury (Clipse) 2006
Noreagas first album was pretty good also though. Then he introduced Clipse with the banger, "Grinding".
Oh please!
Nicholas Baty By far my favorite group, but third for me on their albums (Lord Willin' easily 1, Til the Casket Drops 2 for me). I'm so surprised there were no clipse songs, bc most people haven't heard of clipse outside of grindin
Nicholas Baty anything early that the Clipse did was produced and co-written by Pharrell. The music has his sound and he's featured on multiple songs including their biggest hit.
Pharrell is a Genius... seems like he never ages
Much love to this genius💕 humbly proud to be from 757 with you💕
This is more like a list of the biggest hits Pharrell was involved with - what an awful title.
TheDanielShepherd Can y’all just appreciate her showing love and recognition to a legend?? 🙄 not everyone knows these things especially the younger generation who are up and coming...gtfoh
This man is a genius!!! Writing evergreens all over the place for even more than the last decade or what?! =O
It's Neptunes who produced these songs. Not Just Pharrell. No one is giving credit to Chad Hugo
Right?!
Studio Inez Ummm as annoying as she is, she did give credit on every single one Chad co-wrote.
No surprise he's a musical genius :D love him
"Pha-rail". That's what she just called him. That's what she just fucking called him.
Dude A genius... A living legend Icon... crazy
Lol at 1:28 there is a random guy not even looking at britney 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
