Being the massive fighting game and Blazblue fan that I am, as well as someone who got into roguelikes with Hades, this game became my favourite rougelike almost instantly. I've been playing it since early access and the full release made the game even better. They just recently added the character Rachel Alucard a few days ago, and she is pretty damn nuts. Hopefully, the devs add more characters in. If I could pick 5, they would be Azrael, Kagura, Bullet, Makoto, and either Nine, Naoto, or Tager.
I just bought this game a couple days ago as BlazBlue fan, Fighting game fan, and roguelike fan. It's really fun enjoyable but a little lacking in the content I like from each. I think as a standalone seperate from it's IP its good.

as a fighting game fan I kind of skipped this one over but I'll take another look at it now.

I like Street Fighter but I suck at it, and Iike rogue-likes, so it sounds like this might be for me.

All style no substance, gameplay feels stale and clunky relative to better roguelikes (ex: astral ascent feels much better)
