I just saw them on the Today Show. I had never heard of them and thought...I probably won't like them. And then it happened. She belted out the first word and the quality of her voice made me forget that I had to go to the bathroom. The musicians, the harmony, the total musicality is Awesome. Welp...you have a new fan. Me. Someone else said in the comments that you all should do a live recording and I agree. I will definitely be looking out for you all to come to Philly!
Just keep listening to Lake Street Dive......and they'll just get better and better.

+Paul Ferguson Maybe it's just me, but there's something hot about a woman bass player, especially some one that can play like Bridget. Obviously all talented and trained musicans and it shows. Keeping good jazz alive and I hope they'll be around for a long time.

finally! this is the LSD I used to listen to nonstop for weeks in 2012. whomever did their audio is a God and needs to do all of their performances. I'm rocking a side pony, but like someone else said, they're SO much better live, and need to do a live studio album like Led Zeppelin. they are great on this and the Skype show. i am glad to hear them at their best again.

Rachael's voice is incredible - but I think what makes the whole thing work is the restraint of those other three superstars. They could all step out if they wanted to.
This may be my favorite song off Side Pony. Just an observation though - a full horn section would really set this song off. I love the jazzy trumpet lick. Think "That's the way of the world" by EWF for what I'm thinking of. Still adore this song though.
They need to do a collab with vulfpeck
