Have to say this... I've watched some of the best in this game cast their own games. You are still the goat of commentating. I'm honestly a little disappointed when I come home from work and Uncle Drongo doesn't have a new video for me to watch. You are the GOAT of AOE commentating. I love the play-by-play, but I also love the color commentary where you share about the player tendencies, the videos that do well, and even your wife's amazing culinary talents. If you ever want to reduce the your caloric intake, I'm available to come over for a quick meal, I'm only a 20 hour flight away. :) Good job mate.

Drongo for AoE 4 and T90Official for AoE 2. The top tier in casting Age games. The two of them together would be the JR and Lawler of Age of Empires.

Im one of those folks that came to the game from your videos. I watched an EGCTV video last November and tbought it was interesting, but that was that. Then one of your videos popped up in my recommended, and im probably closing in on 100 videos watched. The algorithm is very strange. When I was a basically almost a newcomer to the RTS genre, I was so excited about this game, I simply started sharing silly videos of it. One containing god-awful gameplay got nearly 300 THOUSAND views --- with very embarrassing gameplay in it, in retrospect lol
No, I don’t get a dime from it, don’t want to be a content creator, but I can’t help but imagine the randomness of it all is nerve-wracking for the ones who actually create content!

For me there is no better player then don arte who plays delhi . We need to see him more he is soo fun to watch
What if he controlled his pressure and built the keep few steps back? 2 or 3 tiles maybe.
Delhi's difficulty against the English is that it's challenging to catch the winning timing; in most case sustained Delhi game only leads to the lack of momentum, while English defense is so solid against aggressive feudal rushes.
There were many instances where Delhi had the upper hand but couldn't break through the English defense(even through opened territory).
Despite this, I still thought Delhi performed well and had a higher chance to win, but he lost his control feeling the pressure of timing and diverting dozens of villagers to build a keep.
If I were in faye's shoes, I might have tapped out seeing him reach the castle age while realizing my depleted resources and most of my soldiers consumed. Faye's resilience is truly remarkable. Is this the basic attitude of an English player?

Hey Drongo, I have to say I expect great things from you in terms of casting. I've been watching all of your videos daily for a few months now, even though I don't even play AOE4 (my laptop can't handle it). I haven't heard someone as entertaining as you in any game. All the funny side tangents you go on, the little peeks into your personal life.. it's amazing and I'm here for it. I really hope to see you commentating officially for one of the bigger tournaments. Surely there is no one better qualified to do it.

This delhi player was quite hard to watch. The lack of sacred sites and the delayed relic collection. They're of course great but as you point out Drongo, not perfect play by a long shot
Intereting game faye doing good as usual and delhi player looked like i was playing myself (i am gold)
of course those late, lancer raid were awesome ans Faye really needed to wall sooner and maybe sprinkle some spears for them but otherwise did not felt very conqueror to me

On one of my channels I have a bid that popped off - around 300k views when I have only a few thousand subs. It only popped off when the game went for free on epic - usually I've found that people searching for the game, coinciding usually with some events going on, makes the vid pop off. Hopping on the trend is always the way of getting popularity, which is why comp games are only big on yt within their communities, and the vids are never promoted other than when they hop with trends. Not meaning they aren't good ofc, I don't even play aoe much any more but your commentary is better than most other casters in most other games

Keep up with the longer talks or unusual built ins of liking the video. I'd definitely always like your video but just forget most of the time and my brain skips when someone says give a like and press the bell icon because I heard it dozens of times per day.

Not a fan of Compound of the Defender for our Chinese friend when in that position, feel like the House of Learning is the way to go when you can't end the game quickly
Experimenting with the monk on Japanese the amount of buffs you can get with Japan is completely insane, if you get set up in castle with static defenses and temples, its crazy
