Love this band! My wife's favourite. Have seen them live more times than I can count. You know you're good when you can start a song and the whole crowd is singing it without the band. That's what we do when they play "Hasn't Hit Me Yet." "Five Days in May" is terrific too as is "Lost Together." Actually, too many hits to list here!

One of my top bands, being a Canadian this is some of the music that is a part of my life. This is from their CD "5 Days in July" a great listen, no bad songs one of the CDs I can put in and just play, no skips, though there is one song "What is this Love" that get's me, I'll play it over and over before letting it play on. The band has 2 guys that do the singing, so depending upon which song there is a different sound just because of that. "Dark Angel" is also a beautiful song from this album, Sarah McLachlan, does backing vocals for both songs.

I'm so excited you guys finally discovered Blue Rodeo. ICONIC Canadian band with a thirty year rabbit hole to go down. I've seen them live several times over the years - and they are absolutely fantastic every time. Try, Diamond Mine, Bulletproof, Trust Yourself, Five Will Get You Six, and Rose Coloured Glasses are more you need to check out. Lead singer Jim Cuddy has a solo career as well. He wrote this song called Married Again about this true life couple who went to Vegas to get a divorce - but they got so drunk the night before - they ended up getting married again. It's hilarious - and a really fun song. Jim's son Devin also has his own band - and is very talented as well :). Hugs from Ontario Canada

One of the neat things about BR is that they are truly a "live" band. They are constantly touring and are incredibly tight. I think that fact is a major reason that most of their songs are written to have proper endings, rather than just fading out.

Blue Rodeo are (or were) a country rock sort of band from Toronto. Jim Cuddy was the main vocalist. They had a lot of hits here in Canada, and I think they did pretty well in the US, as well. Try "Lost Together" and "Rain Down on Me" as they are good songs, too! 🎸💘😎

The song”falling”is amazing the vocals are so clear and crisp he has an amazing voice you will love it.
He wrote the song while waiting for somebody in Halifax ns he was by the via rail station and seen a man on the telephone and imagined what he could be saying it’s a beautiful song do the long version it’s bout six minutes.🇨🇦✌🏻🇨🇦

Blue Rodeo is an amazing band. Canada's pride for good reason. They are incredible in person. They are incredible recorded. Old fashioned musicians that learned and mastered their craft. Consistent all the time. They are one of the greatest underrated bands of all time. The fact that they have been aging like fine wine hasn't hurt them either. Also check out The Jim Cuddy Band...They all do solo stuff as well as work together as Blue Rodeo. Endless material from these guys out there.

Your interpretation of the lyrics is extremely generous. I see this "bad timing" as the excuse of a lover who can't commit and keeps hurting the same person, expecting to be taken back over and over. A heartbreaker of a song. Sometimes, we see our mistakes far too late.

Another Torontonian chiming in here. Thanks for covering my favourite Canuck band! I don't remember where it was, as it was decades ago, but the first time I'd seen them was in a small venue. Didn't have to pay for tickets; just for your drinks. Been hooked ever since and have paid for concert tickets years later. This is one of my breakup songs; Bulletproof is another one. Yeah, I've listened to both a lot again recently *sigh* lol Thanks again, eh 🇨🇦

This is my favourite song in the whole world. Grew up in an oil & gas family, dad was always away up north. Then when I got older I went up north. Occasionaly head back home, somehow always run into her. We never speak, just trade glances.

Blue Rodeo is one of the best Canadian band ever and are so loved north of your border. They tried to break through in the US but could not get enough radio airplay. Their sound does not fit in any mold -- depending on the record, they can sound, bluesy, country, pop, rock and even jazzy. Radio stations didn't know what to do with them, unfortunately.
