Took my EFLX out today and noticed the same thing that even with my astigmatism, the dot is perfectly round. Excellent optic and my favorite reflex sight.

I got the eflx last week to put on my xr920p and wow I’m sold! The dot never left the window and my follow up shots was right on! Love the sight picture and the crisp dot. I have 250 down range with this sight and looking forward to many more rounds with this set up!

Mine arrived in the mail 15 minutes ago. UNBELIEVABLY clear glass. 6 MOA gets more than bright enough for the AZ sun. Well done.

6:02 I was excited to hear you say that. I have one as well and suffer from the same problems when using red dots compared to the old and trusty 512. I came to see if this sight was holographic but I hope you're not exaggerating about the crispness of the dot.
Just ordered one here in South Africa from Europtics in Stellenbosch, should have it early next week if all goes well for Glock 27. Had to choose between this model and the Vortex Venom. Will update once it's been fitted and some rounds have been sent downrange.
Now you guys need to bring out an optic for the single stacks like my 43x! 🎯

Have an elfx on two sig p320’s and my M&P Metal. Great sights.
The glass on mine flew off within the first 50rds. Really wanted to like it. Super cool look. Dig the top battery compartment. Just didn’t cut it. Spent the extra money for a trijicon.
Don't know when/if but a closed emitter EFLX?... I sure wouldn't complain.

I would love to see a shake n wake model in the future it’s probably the best feature I’ve had on a red dot making sure I have super long battery life
Exactly the reason I didn't buy this optic, even though I'd so much rather buy an EOTech than the sig Romeo 1 that I ended up choosing...

@@fernandodelgadillo1613 while I don't think it's quite worth the $320 some odd that I paid for it, it's pretty decent, very solid build, nice window, windage and elevation are nice and clicky. Again, the shake awake is my most important function, so out of the limited options that can mount directly to a sig p320 with no plates, I still think this is the right choice
I have 2 of them I do love them but I do have a Trijicon RMR and i do like that it is on all the time…

Specifically for Glock installations make sure you have the #4 plate adapter to install the EFLX optic. This plate is not coming standard with Glock pistols with the exception of Blue Label firearms. They’ve decided to cut costs by reducing the plates in the box. They’ve also changed the factory plate to a plastic plate versus the metal.
I was lucky enough to find a store with an FN 510 and an EFLX in stock, co witness is perfect. Time will tell if it can stand up to the 10. But damn do the two look sexy.
Please tell me tour making a version 2 of this? I wanted to love the one I had but had to return it. Would lose zero doing light slide manipulation off a barrier. I wanted this to be my go to duty optic like your holo sights but it just let me down. Hopefully Eotech comes back better on this sight.
Outstanding glass and window size. Love the optic. Only thing I would change is that the side buttons stick out and contact the holster. I had to cut a hole in my $80 crossbreed holster so it didn’t turn my brightness down to nothing. Just needs recessed or a ledge. Anyone else having this happen?
We have heard this a few times and seems to be limited to a few holsters, but we are working on new buttons.
I’m tempted to grab the 3MOA EFLX to replace my 507K X2..

The lens in my eflx went flying out of the housing during a range shoot. Was really disappointed at that. I've had holosuns for years that held the glass perfectly.
Sending the video and pictures to eotech to see what they say. The sight was less than 2 months old.

@@Three60Crusader EOTech sent an RMA Packing Slip and they paid for return shipping. I sent the sight back and within a week they sent me a brand new sight. So far, their customer service and warranty is really good. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the new sight. I'll just chalk up the first sight failing as defects of a first-run new product on the market. When the sight was working, it performed amazingly.

What is the best tool set to buy to attach the red dot
love the glass, just as clear as the holo sights. but NO CIRCLE DOT? NO CIRCLE DOT? I use xps and vudu because of the easy to use reticle at 1x. As for holosun's mini dot, while sturdy for years on a shotgun, the glass will never be as good as this.
Im about to order me a pistol red dot in a week from amozon. And I kinda wanted to know if I can mount the eflx on my only handgun. The fn502. It has 3 plate things. Ones a sheild rms, other is a rmr. But the 3rd is aprently a vortex venom plate. Hoping to find out before my check comes.
Man, I've been waiting on Eotech to do a pistol sight. But, if it's big on a Glock, it's gonna be huge compared to a P365

Clearest dot Ive had with my astigmatism but I can't see it on bright days. Really wish it were brighter because I love the window

Just Finally received mine. Looks promising and the glass looks clear AF. I bought an ADM QD mount for a Delta Point Pro, just went to go mount it and realized that the screws provided by Eotech are too wide to thread into the mounting plate. ADM doesn't provide any with mount. If anyone here in interwebs land has any suggestions for replacement screw options it would be much appreciated.

Is there a lockout mode? And you are able to turn off the auto shut off feature? Which would keep the dot always on.

I'm not clear on if you have to draw quickly how the sight is switched on. Also, if the sight fails for some reason, can you still use your iron sights? Can the red dot be seen by an opponent in the dark? What is the average battery run time?
You can set it up to always be on and if you have suppressor height sights yes you can use your irons as backup. The red dot is projected towards you so only you can see it. Average run time is 25000 hours on setting 5 from a 3moa and 20000 hrs on a 6moa. Are you a new gun owner? you seem to not know much about guns or optics. It's all good everybody has to start somewhere.
Wil the mini red dot fit on a Kimber K6S Tactical 4 inch revolver.

I have one and it’s running good but I’ve seen a few posts online with the lenses popping out less then 100 rounds.. Any data on how wide spread this is?
Not wide spread at all. Only happened a few times, but as bad news does, it spread everywhere.
Sadly, Sage Dynamics exposed these to not be able to hold zero through simple drops. I was pretty close to "pulling the trigger" to get one of these before I saw that video. Might be a good idea to fix that problem, and offer customers a trade in or something. The inability to withstand a simple drop could prove deadly to someone using this in a real life situation.
Will this fit a hellcat? If so, what plate adapter do I need or dies it come with a plate?

Why 12 hour auto off? Why not an hour or half an hour auto shut off. And also shake awake. Would adding those two features really have impacted pricing?

No shake to wake? How long will it run constantly on one battery?
That self defense situation.. that we all hope never happens but we're all prepared for.. happens to happen: having to tap a button on an optic kinda totally defeats the purpose of carrying a glock or similar.. NOT having to push a button or flip a lever to go hot
Battery life is 20k hours so roughly 2 years constant run time. You can have it constantly on or automatically go off. A shake awake feature would be nice though im personally gonna wait until these are more widespread/ issues have been resolved before buying one.

@Robert F it is top loaded i believe so replacing batteries isn't much more difficult than your tv remote lol. Dont have to remove the optic

Why does nobody ever show you how to cite these red dots in. Not one UA-cam video showing what the controls on the red dot do I got one has no instructions came with no literature just a QR code to scan for a warranty I have never cited in a red dot and I still do not know how even after watching this video. Not helpful. Went to the range and try to adjust. I just ended up putting the red dot out of the window. Can’t get it back in.

Torque is INCH-pounds..... not pounds. Why in the world would you not specify? You are going to have someone think foot-pounds and crush their sight.
I think that It should go without saying that's its not FOOT pounds.
If you though for one second that foot pounds were applicable for those tiny little screws, you shouldn't be installing it yourself anyway...

You don’t have to buy it from China. Solar on optics is a gimmick. Everyone is changing their batteries once or twice a year come on 😂
@@Three60Crusader He’s referring to the new Holosun SCS optics that have a capacitor instead of a battery. Just ambient light is enough to keep it topped off with a 20k hour rating on a full charge. Never need to change batteries at all. I wouldn’t consider that a gimmick personally.
I do agree the battery/solar combo is pretty gimmicky with modern hour ratings.
