Seems like a nice tool. I keep three regular old grease guns loaded with different types of grease. The only real reason I would not buy this new gun is that I'm cheap. That includes buying partial and leftover tubes at yard sales and such. I have a nice collection of greases that will likely be at least partially remaining long after I'm gone, and I have very little cash outlay for it all.

If you’re ever looking to upgrade to an electric one, the dewalt 20v one is killer. I have one and love it. I know people that run other brands of tools but still buy the dewalt grease gun because it’s that good.

I've had one of these guns for several years. It works as advertised., I bought their locking coupler which allows for a connection in awkward locations where it is difficult to use constant pressure while moving grease. OMG do I have issues with the old style gun. The leaks and problems loading it. The old gun always seems to be out of grease. The electric gun would be good for someone who greases large equipment often, like a farmer. operator of large earth moving machines. Too pricey for me on the ranch.

The battery version is crazy expensive ($450+). In the razor business, you should make the money on the razors and not the handle. Their battery version ahould be sold without a battery and an adapter for Milwaukee, DeWalt, Ryobi etc. Adoption would be easier and they would sell a lot more grease if they did that.
