This is awesome man! Can't wait to build up my GY6, I'll be attempting the turbo build. Only because everything I've ever built has had to have either a turbo or supercharger on it... I know its a pain in the Arse, but why not..
I have that tool from the rolling wrench website. i love it, so thank you, Matt. We love rolling wrench products as we use them on our 232cc Liquid Cooled 4valve
@RollingWrench always brother we look forward to making it out west over next couple years so to ride riderz block as I want to ride it so bad. My 232cc is still going we made it through 40+ miles of small bore the gorge here in Kentucky Smokey Mountain small bore rally 2024 riding all weekend plus drag racing at barber small bore this past year after 2 years of daily riding! Dome Forged piston that's been ground down as not to hit the head as we were having issues with the deck hight after the base gasket wasn't enough. We only needed a couple thousandths shaved off lol.
2 valve is good for bottom end torque. The 4 valve had is good for high rpm. It takes a little bit out of the acceleration do to the extra rotating mass
@ that’s great to know! I just got my first ruckus over the weekend and I am going to get my build started. I snagged up a 80’s yamaha champ too and I want to do a Zuma swap to it if possible.
If it’s worn out, replace it. Unless you love working on things. You can always upgrade it too. That will cover the rebuild and upgrade at the same time
I imagine pretty difficult. The 250cc ruckus motor would be about as equivalent to a 171cc. The motor is a low compression economy motor. I’m not so sure it would be worth it. A motor mount, harness, custom exhaust and hub would need to be fabricated.
Good speed for 2valve 232cc. But you might want to use 4 valve cylinder head lower as 160-180cc can go up to 90-100mph what more if 232cc it can go up to 120mph more or less.😊
What my question and confusion is , why can a 49cc ruckus do 40 mph and a Honda Navi with Iberia twice the ccs at 110 cc only do 10 mph more at 50 mph ?
It really comes down to power vs gearing. Picture a 8 year old kid (8 year old kid is the 49cc) on a 10 speed bicycle. And me on the same bicycle (I’m the 110cc) because my legs are stronger (leg strength = size of cc’s) I am able to pedal harder and get through the gears do to the stronger legs. On the same not that 110 is capable of a lot more than 50mph . The 49cc is pretty maxed out

Oh heck ya!! DO IT!!!. I would be happy if it just only made turbo sounds lol
Same waiting for the drop on the turbo kit
Already saved this video on my watch later
Nice job !
Thanks!
Can't wait to get the kit . I have a BAJA sc50

Awesomeee!! But man do the RR (ttmrc) 67mm build 💪🏾 looking foward to see that Build come up 🛠
I have that build up on the channel now
Watching lods from Philippines 🇵🇭
Thanks for the support
What's the break In process like on these?
Is the black engine cases, (Inclusive of the swingarm) painted or powder coated?
Is this a complete kit , or is it just the case and you have to buy everything else to complete it?
Are there short case GY6s available too? Thanks, your videos helped immensely when restoring a 20 yr old Yerf Dog go kart.
For the 232 no short case is available. But we can do a 205
Nice video…
Thanks brotha! :-)
how much and how long to build I wanna stick one on three wheel trike Thanks in advance
whats the best battery especially with cold weather for my gy6 150?
Great vid. Short of this being a top speed monster. What's your go to CC size for a torque monster. I have a 171cc now.
Compared to 171. It’s probably 2.5 times better acceleration
This may get answered later in the video (just starting it) but is there a benefit to using the 2 valve vs the 4 valve?
2 valve is good for bottom end torque. The 4 valve had is good for high rpm. It takes a little bit out of the acceleration do to the extra rotating mass

@ nice! Ya you can do it!
Awesome build! I know you're a GY6 fan but is it worth it to refurbish original Gy6 150 or replace it entirely with something cost affective?
If it’s worn out, replace it. Unless you love working on things. You can always upgrade it too. That will cover the rebuild and upgrade at the same time
What do you recommend to get a GY6 Coolster 150cc up to speed? I am new to the ATV world and was gifted a used 2019 3150 DX4
How hard would it be to use the big ruckus 250 engine in a stretched ruckus?
I imagine pretty difficult. The 250cc ruckus motor would be about as equivalent to a 171cc. The motor is a low compression economy motor. I’m not so sure it would be worth it. A motor mount, harness, custom exhaust and hub would need to be fabricated.
What's up rolling wrench
Fix it Daniel in the hoouuuseee!
Hello, can you send gy6 crank camshaft cylinder top cover 200cc set to Turkey?
We don’t ship to turkey :-(
Do you sell the engine completely put together at all?
Ya. It’s $6400 😬 very expensive. The parts are $4900
Is there a version that is compatible with the honda navi?
No, not yet
@RollingWrench Does "Not Yet" mean there will be? Because if so, that would be awesome. Thanks for the reply. We all really appreciate you.
Hey question ; I have a 300cc gy6 what would you suggest to upgrade it budget friendly 😅
I’m not to familiar with the 300s
They are hard to get parts for it but definitely a cam clutch and gearing upgrade
Harley Davidson Ruckus :)
Ahhh yaaaa
👍
I have a 125 gy6 can i go from 125 to 172 or is that to big a jump
Ya you can
@ thank you love the videos aswell kinda addicted to your channel
@@DJLeroueHouse dude ! Thank you 🙏🏻

Actually a 205cc is the next step down and is a lot less $

I need an engine that will replace my gy6 49cc. Bolt on.
We have big bore kits, but not complete motors
BSOD scared the sh!t out of me. Then I remembered I'm on Windows 11...
lol
I like it but I wheelie all the time.😅
Keep the 150cc gets in and you will be a wheelie machine lol
👋👀🇵🇭🤙
🙏🏻💯🖤
Well its gonna be slow starting bc the 4 valve 79mm are hitting 96 mph at the 1/8 mile
Daaannng!! Dope
I have a 4valve liquid cooled 232cc and it's a bad mofo
🦾🫵🦾
Nope do not see a battery lol
lol
