It really make me crazy when people be like "Why not just get a bigger bike?" My reasoning. "There will always be a faster bike than the one you buy." If I have a gy6, and you have a gy6 and we race. It really comes down to the best mechanic.
My personal reason is, It is an entire world more fun to ride the shit out of a scooter than it is to ride a larger bike within legal limits. You're not really leaving legal limits when you ride the piss out of a scoot. I've loved every big bike I've had, I love messing around on my 125 more.
Hello Please repeat the explanation again, because the video was not completed until the end, so we ask you to repeat it, but in full, thank you 💨💨💨💨✊🏽
Youve inspired me so much that without even owning a GY6 I am in love with them saving up for a ice bear maddog clone 150cc to start with and just upgrade it to maybe 171cc till i go Taida and go probld 232cc 💓
People knock my Icebear 150 cause it's Chinese. But I have had 0 issues 1 year 3k miles later. Get it you will love it. Now all my coworkers want a scooter cause gas is expensive.
9 thousand in 2 year on mines🤷🏻 and then did the top end swap and all the old peices still looked mint cept for dirt and grime Stock was wrogfa and replace is glix The 50 is an 80cc now and maxes out the spedo no problem😮 and keeps goin' idk how fast but spedo ends at 50
My advice . which is quite extensive building turbo cars . your intercooler is in a decent location . change the bov style . and if it were my ruc the turbo should be a few inches further out and be parallel with the frame . also I would think subaru for the bov on the intercooler its self . and for the piping its self I would look into vibran v bands and a crap ton of pie cut stainless . these are the plans for my gy6 ruck trike I'm currently building . I the fab work is easy its,all the tuning im learning from watching your vids
I remember those :-) the huge difference here is mine is on a 232cc, I have a intercooler I’m using for a air capacitor annnnd it’s fuel injected :-) I really hope to succeed on this.
exactly, for me this is also a hobby I love working on my kawasaki 1100cc up I made a mistake, I love working on my icebear 150cc I really enjoy it and best of all is all the parts are available for example if I damage the engine in one bad repair well honestly it doesn't matter because it's cheap and I buy another one these gy6 150cc motorcycles are wonderful
Do yall make your own intercoolers, or do you got an affiliate code for one? I'm doing something stupid and absolutely need one for a very similar reason to yall on this build
That turbo will never boost enough to blow out on any scooter. They run safely in cars and motorcycles all day at high boost for years. At 1-5psi you’ll be fine I promise just at a separate oil system and a small oil cooler
I was thinking a 250cc with turbo would maybe work a little better I'm just starting and learning how to do bore kits and all the bolt on crap never worked on my own turbo in my car my thing use ho be 2 strokes and Rotarys but these gy6 motors are impressive but I think a turbo put on one of these things could blow them apart unless it was a small one especially with the maxed out bore
I can’t go any further until the stand alone EFI system is ready. A carburetor won’t work with a turbo. That’s the hold up. Maybe this winter I can finally have the time to finish the EFI system
I write here because I really dunno where to contact you and I know you read and answer. If you remember from last chat I working on a aerox in Asia, need to fix the engine soon but self bore, I want to try the same on a 200cc up custom bore
Well you going to have to have some kind of lagging for that turbo it's going to be very hot.. two step cold to spark plug 100 octane fuel I don't know how many pounds of boost this thing's going to hold but I would say no more of then eight or nine pounds. And yes you're definitely going to need something to cool down that air as you increase the horsepower are you going to increase the heat saturation. I mean ultimately the best way to do this is to design an engine that is made for it. But one of the most critical of all things he's going to be your fuel air ratio and be able to monitor that. You don't want to blow a hole right through the piston

What happend to this project ?
Cuz its boring to just get a bigger bike. People who dont wrench, dont understand. Its a love to the sport of tuning.
I turbod my 165fmm, 230cc (lots of gy6 parts) without the air capacitor. It works pretty good. Blowthrough carb too.

Dude the pipe the muffler looks good on that thing man that is sweet
I been waiting for this to start.
When you get close to your final build, check out the turbo from a 1.0 ecoboost. It's tiny and reliable.
Nice to know thanks for the info.
A 1000cc turbo will more than likely be far too big for a 232cc application.
@@reissfullspeedahead It's tiny.. Very tiny.
Its also cast into the exhaust manifold lol
@@exgtt2061 no it's not. The manifold is cast to the head but the turbo is still removable.
Dude... This is what I’ve been waiting for someone else to do!!!

Gosh how I've been waiting for this
Your corvette is beautiful, they are wonderful.
Standard functions and atr made a turbo ruck 10 years ago I can’t wait to see this one!!

Still not done yet? where are the update videos?!!? that’s all I’ve been waiting for for over a year now
Just got my cdi coil combo. Had it within 3 days. Very fast shipping. And thanks for the sour patch kid. 👍👍👍
I have one that I did A year and a half ago gy6 150cc and it’s still running will be nice to get that tune from you on wifi nice lol need asap

I have a Chinese gy6 50cc 4 stroke scooter, I live in Florida, what main jet size ? And what pilot jet size ? Please help me thanks
No muffler. Clean without.
Sick set-up
The fun is that you are Michelangelo now I go create
U should take the grey part off the exhaust, and cut a tear drop tip into that circular piece it connects to, would look sick next to them welds
Needless to say next to the turbo🔥🔥💯
Love it. I think if anyone is gonna have success with this its u.
Thank you dude 🙏🏻. I appreciate the compliment
What size of turbo is that?
Is it a g15 t15 turbo
Got a complete engine build for sale?
Air capacitor? Is that the same as a accumulator?
Is this buy able (like crate but with tune efi, like from scratch kit??)
Are you using an arduino for the ECU? That's sick
Yes:-)
How is this build going?
7mo ago and I'm only see this new now but can you heat wrap the pipe at the cold scoop so you get more cool air and less heat from the pipe?
Why are your videos assembling but I’ve never seen any results? I wanted to see how the turbo ruckus turned out.
It’s not done. It’s will be a bit.
In the future will this be a possible add on kit to the fuel injection? Or to the 232cc stroker kit? I would love to buy one when it’s all ready
That pony is badass.👍😱
Do yall make your own intercoolers, or do you got an affiliate code for one? I'm doing something stupid and absolutely need one for a very similar reason to yall on this build
Look up worfab he built mine
so how come you don't start it and drive it around so we can see the performance?
Cause it won’t run without the EFI system and the oil system. This is just a fitment test
Oh brother I cannot wait to see this done LOL Matt will change the world for real✌
Would it work on a Yamaha Zuma
Hey Rolling Wrench, how do you suggest setting up the oil system for the turbo on a scooter?
Definitely
@@RollingWrench do you recommend an external oil pump, or just tapping right into the existing pump? Thank you so much!

I agree! It’s pretty dope!

Man I would like to see a trike
Did you figure out an oil supply solution?
A external chamber with a low psi fuel pump to feed the turbo
@@RollingWrench Did you hav a pump in mind? Would something like a Holley Red be OK with hte oils heat?
First I think you should put a turbine electric on there that would be cool anyway you're right have lots of fun my man I'm watching.
can you make a turbo for gy6 150cc atv?
I'm running the Aracer on my 300 swapped grom
Good stuff! If only they had them for the GY6…….That’s where I come in :-)
Amazing, i love your ruckus, if i become rich i will buy you one
So was it worth it or putting the turbo?
It’s not done. We will see
Hey I'm in Denver could I come visit your shop ?
do you have an efi system like this that I can currently purchase for a gy6? thanks
You should do a turbo get motor build

Damnit I miss the live show I was replaying Black Mesa!
this right person at the right time can make all the difference.
Did I see this at the smokey mountain small bore rally
No. It would have been cool though
without muffler looks better
Probably sounds better too :-)
@@RollingWrench nice work tho i like the ruckus
will this be able to run on E85? Or will the updated system?
What city is this in in Los Angeles California
Wish you where covering this more. I'll take the leap into this territory and stake my claim
I can’t go any further until the stand alone EFI system is ready. A carburetor won’t work with a turbo. That’s the hold up. Maybe this winter I can finally have the time to finish the EFI system
Heat from the turbo is going to be a problem.also your turbo might not spin fast enough to make power on a small engine like that.
The engine size isn’t as much of the problem as is it being a single cylinder…. I’ll myth bust this :-)
@@RollingWrench I can't find any updates

This does seem exciting.
Uhh any news on this build?
Still ironing out the EFI
