Thank you for taking the time to create a tutorial for newer players! Some corrections though: -There is no blocking in melee fighting, only stabbing/bashing. -Vaulting/climbing does not drain stamina. -Musicians do not provide buffs to soldiers in any way. Some of my own advice to new players: -Don't take an officer role until you understand how others lead and don't take officer on a map you aren't familiar with. -Flag respawns are faster when you are close to other players (at least 5 others to be exact). -Dying away from your friendly line will do more damage to your team than if you die in formation. -To practice shooting, load into a Drill Camp server and press "T" to find the rifle range. -Press "T" when in melee combat so you can easily spot friendlies. Thanks again! -Cpt.Corded (6thLA Co.D)
Hey, first of all, thank you so much for watching my video! I'm glad I could create content about a game we both enjoy. You're absolutely right about the blocking; it was an oversight on my part, and I appreciate your correction. I agree with your advice on the officer role, and it's essential for new players to gain experience before taking on leadership positions. my suggestion is trying the officer role during quieter hours As for the points about pressing "T" for the rifle range and in combat, those are indeed valuable tips. However, the aim of this video was to be concise and to-the-point. There are already some fantastic, longer tutorials out there for this game, but let's be honest, viewers are more likely to watch a shorter video. My goal was to cover the basics and then potentially create a more in-depth tutorial later on. Thanks again for your feedback and support. Your insights are valuable, and I'll definitely consider them for future videos! Happy gaming, and I will see you in battle sometime :)
As a rule, NCO does not fall in - they stand apart and supervise the orders given by an Officer. An NCO is an enforcer of orders and discipline. An NCO is a mimic and repeats orders given by Officers. An NCO stands alone and separate from the troops. When no Officer is present, unit control shifts to the highest ranking NCO present. If you intend to fall into formations and simply follow orders, do not spawn as an NCO. During actual combat only Officers and NCOs should be talking.
And infantry can act as NCOs as well. because the only requirement to perform the duty is to have a microphone and use it to repeat order and spread the word
When firing at long range remove bayonet. It causes barrel sway and fatigue. Always countercharge - never stand still for the bayonet or you die right away. Keep running, do not stand still in a bayonet fight.
@@bwnco I am glad to help. I enjoy skilled tactics. Kotow does the best zooms on melees. We can see how a running bayonet charge is far more effective than standing still and trading stabs. I always run at enemy when they are running at me. I survive a lot more if I keep running, lol.
So I went to drill Camp went to the cannon range as I can shoot the Cannons now I went to the wagon picked up the round and I couldn't get it out of my hand LOL I walked back to the cannon and I can't figure out how to let go of the damn round to stick it down a cannon and I can't find anything on directions of moving for letting go to The Cannonball or the round or whatever you got anything on that God this is so embarrassing. I've actually never had so much trouble with a video game is this one. But I love the Civil War and I love the graphics LOL
Just a disclaimer for anyone who's already played any similar war games, this video just explains how it works. If you've already played other war games like this you probably don't need it.
Just played my first 3 matches and holy smokes whata freaking game man!!!! Thanks for the awesome video. I was and i linked up with the 1st officer i found and ran with them until i died. Is that the right play?
Yeah, you got it right... find a closes ally and play with them until you die or you can link up with your unit, go to spawn, and never ever try to fight alone...

I agree my PS3 in Call of Duty was 10 times easier to play than using computer laptop controls and the delay and everything else makes the game very hard for me anyway
When stamina runs out find a bush or a rock to kneel behind and be absolutely still for 60 seconds. Take your hand off the mouse. Then resume your movement. Fatigue will return soon - but slow down, walk or squat behind cover for another minute, relax - you're not Superman.

5:11 This is a military organization. Rank always matter,. Your first name is your rank for a reason. Do whatever they say if they outrank you.
