Mew Lake Algonquin

Some clips from our family trip to Mew Lake in Algonquin in the summer of 2021!
Some main points from the video:
- the lake is on the smaller side
- there is some road noise in the campground

how was the privacy of site 94 - could other campers see or was trees blocking and was it close enough you could hear ppl ? or good distance ?
and last question, would you book this site again ? :)

The one side was completely private and the other side (with the picnic table) we could see the neighbours a little. We hung out clothes line to block that site line. It didn’t matter though because the site was massive so we put our tent on the other end. We had two cars so that completely blocked the entrance to the site. If I was booking at Mew Lake I would choose this site again, however we like much more secluded camping so I doubt we would choose this campground again because it was so close to the highway and did not feel as secluded as sites in areas like Canisbay.

I just booked Mew lake fornyhis August:) would you happen to remember what site number you stayed at?

We were on site 94. Sites 125 - 113 are going to have a lot of road noise and when you look out at the water you will be looking right at the highway. Sites 83-94 will be tucked around the corner so you won’t be able to see (or hear) the road as much 😊
