It's not like they're talking about who planned and executed the January 6th "insurrection" or anything 😄 I guess it's an old interview re-uploaded. The movie came out years ago.
@@memetunestudio very likely it's been 'shadow banned' by Google who own UA-cam now....due to the fact it's such an important subject matter.......The excellent documentary on UA-cam called ''Iceland : Pots And Pans Revolution'' has been uploaded and available for years now...yet the viewing figures always show as a strangely low number...despite it ebing shared far and wide for years.....clearly it's been 'shadow banned' (to pretend it's not popular)...It's an excellent piece of work and basically makes the most secure blueprint for what any real democracy around the world needs to function like.
The Day Shall Come is an excellent movie to me (and to those I know whom have seen it)....It's main goal was to get a message out to people and show people that these situations are real and have been happening on a regular basis...the film firmly gets that message out.......Chris wasn't all out for belly laughs here (even though there's plenty comedy / farce / satire in there too...he was on a mission to educate people...To those who 'don't get it' or who try and compare to Chris's other previouis work, you should check out the excellent interview he gives to Jon Snow on Channel 4 news from a few years back (also about this film and about the main aims of Chris Morris in making it and his general views on what comedy should really be about...as in 'punching up' and never 'punching down' (its available here on UA-cam too)
He legit has a skin condition that renders his face oddly - he's rarely seen on TV without heavy makeup to cover the usually redder and more uneven patches... Which if I remember correctly actually irritates his condition even further, which is one reason Chris has always been keener to stay off-camera over the years.
@@anthonytaaffe1942 Great, however it was of its time....The Day Shall Come...well, ironic title....was trying to capture a zeitgeist but failed miserably...I do not know if Morris' day has come....and gone...I feel it has...but what great work he's left us...
@@marcusmaher-triskellionfil5158 great response, thank you. I hope Chris Morris has another project upcoming soon, or perhaps some proper involvement for a proper show unlike previous projects were other directors and teams execute his brilliant ideas horribly! Many thanks.
It felt rushed. We didn't have enough time to learn to like the characters, main character's mental health was glossed over when that's actually probably an essential part of finding a target. I think since this film was based on 100 true stories, it might've been easier to do it from the perspective of the FBI agents only and they're trying to manage all these mishaps. More like veep.
Some people take Chris Morris to be a Massive Comic talent, but he's bigger than that . . . he's large
😂 great line

The man is a national treasure. I long left the UK but it makes me warm and fuzzy inside to know he is still stirring things up.
He hasn't produced anything as of late, the world is too farcicle as it is...
Very very talented man and intelligent . Loved him onThe Day Today
If a had a few Billion I’d be giving this man blank checks to do whatever projects he wants to make.
Thanks Chris, Thanks Alan!
It hit me like a sort of brick hurled from Miami into the middle of London.
Sounds like a line straight out of The Day Today

why has this only got 670 views after 2 months?? you have 5.4 million subs! Genuine question

Ayoade, Fielding and Morris? I'll be praying to various gods we hear this one day
You must be referring to the IT Crowd!
They were all a part of the awesome "Nathan Barley"
Let’s not get picky. Everything Morris does or has done is genius.
it may be Richard Ayoade's "The Unfinished Harauld Hughes" published last month
Fielding is a sex pest. Could be interesting but he was always one of the less savoury characters in a lot of the good 2000s comedies
You only meet a Chris Morris once in a lifetime.
