Just wanted to say that I followed this guide pretty closely (especially later in the game) and really enjoyed the playthrough! This was exactly what I was looking for: a guide to playthrough the main bosses without speedrunning. Every boss from Maliketh on took me a few hours to defeat, but I enjoyed learning the move-sets and your tips were super helpful. Overall it took me around 23 hours to complete this run, so not quite one-sitting, but I feel like I learned a lot throughout the whole thing. I can't believe I beat the game without the Mimic Tear spirit! Thanks for making this guide!
As a noob, I watched a lot of guides, but this was the best I've seen, good job. It took me 3.5 hours to get to Azula, but I had a lot of fun, thank you very much.
Thanks that's awesome to hear. 3.5 hours to get to Azula is actually good for a first try. Usually you have to practice the route and boss techniques before you can get it in one sitting. Well done!
Great video! Very informative without extra unnecessary commentary and your voice is delicate and easy to listen to. Hope to see more videos in the future.
SUCH an amazingly useful video- especially for those like me who wanted to ramp up multiple character builds quickly for the Shadow of the Erdtree. NICE!
Just come across this channel. Despite completing ER multiple times and watching tons of videos, this might be the most relaxing walk through ever created. Appreciate you've only done a handful of videos, but keep it up bud.
absolutely enjoy your guides. great choice of music and and calmly voiced explanations. gives a very nice and relaxed feeling to a game that can sometimes get quite stressful. really great job!
Found you through pineapples video but this video is perfect since I need to do 2 more endings for 100% achievements completion. Thank you so much for this excellent and clear video!
@@SoulObsessionGames yes it is very useful. The guide is very well made and the editing even the music was great so I really enjoyed watching it also. Keep up the good work. Hopefully your channel will keep on growing!
Not only is this an excellent and comprehensive guide, but your relaxed positivity is such a welcome energy in the Elden Ring/Fromsoftware space. Genuinely soothing narration & music choices! Bravo!
I absolutely love this video. This is such a great idea for people that maybe want to get into ng+ or the dlc early. A few things I might mention; the Star Fist weapon is basically a straight upgrade to the Iron Ball, and you can get it in Leyndell, so I would absolutely recommend using those instead of the Iron Ball (you don't need to kill Boggart too! You'll need a different weapon for the Crystalian boss though). Also, you kill Alexander for the shard, which I totally understand, but you cooooould do his questline and get the better version of the shard in Farum Azula. I would personally go that route if you're setting up a save file for ng+ or the dlc.
Thanks so much for watching! Sure, those are some things you'd probably want to change if you're using this as a setup run and not just a speedrun. The star fist doesn't make much difference over the iron ball in the context of this run, but sparing Boggat is a good idea if you want boiled crab. I put a footnote about that in the text document. Thanks for your suggestions!
@@SoulObsessionGames yeah sorry, I should have made it clear; you accomplished what you set out to do perfectly. I would only tweak some things if I were setting up a file for your game plus or the DLC. My suggestions were not to try to fix your video, they were just for people who might be using this guide in addition to the Mogh quick kill guide to get to the DLC early.
love ur vid so much could i ask if you had a sheet or something of equipment / levels for each boss to help us keep track of what to be levelling a bit easier
Thanks so much! Check the text document in the description, it has all the steps including the equipment and how to level up. As long as you're following the guide, you don't have to worry about your exact stats for each boss. Just level as much as you can whenever the guide tells you to level, and follow the guideline stated at the beginning of the page: level only vigor until 40, then only dexterity until 40, then only strength until 30. Except that you also put 2 points into arcane during step E-3. The only boss you need to check your stats for is Gideon. As shown, you need at least 40 dex and 30 strength for him, which you should have by that point if you're following the guide. Hope this helps!
Genuinely found this mind-blowing--thank you for making it. Dumb question: do you find that levelling up damage stats beyond basic weapon requirements is pointless? I've noticed that you mainly pump into Vigor in your videos. What's a good rule of thumb for allocating stats if you want to do a quality/melee build (or at least have a wide range of weapons you can use)?
Thanks for watching! And it's not a dumb question. My guides are designed to be fairly easy and forgiving, which is why I pump vigor early. Also I tend to rely on weapon arts, which scale more from the upgrade level of your weapon, and not as much from your stats. Plus, the builds tend to rely on stagger and bleed. But once I have a comfortable amount of vigor and my weapons are upgraded, then it becomes more worthwhile to invest in damage stats. In fact, about halfway through this video video I start leveling strength and dex, and by the end of the video I have over 60 strength. As a rule of thumb, I would prioritize vigor and endurance first. Because in the early game when your weapons aren't upgraded very much yet, leveling your damage stats won't make as much difference. But assuming you're getting enough vigor and endurance to make you comfortable, there's nothing wrong with leveling damage stats earlier than I do.
wow, I really wish the algo pick this video up bc its hidden gem btw I watched this while taking a break from my final boss fight with RL1 charecter, its my first time doing RL1 run and it was hella trip... def took me "a little" more than 3 hrs
Thanks for the suggestion! My next video will be a quick, overpowered DLC playthrough using the character from my most recent 2 videos. But it will work if you use the character from this video as well, in fact it should be easier.
Maybe I missed something but why didn't you kill the big dragon next to Fort Faroth in the beginning? With a gold foul foot you can get even more runes by killing the dragon early, gives you like 20 levels in the beginning and makes the subsequent bosses way easier
Not worth it for me, but feel free to add that if you like. It takes extra time, and we're already plenty strong for the early bosses. By the time you get to the late game bosses, it won't end up making much difference, and I save the gold pickled fowl feet for the later bosses which give a bigger return on investment. Also the point of this run is enjoying the boss fights, and I find killing that dragon to be tedious.
