I bought this as a gift for my friend ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG who is just starting out in the world of wood work. He loves it!! There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.
I hope that someday I will have complete equipment and be able to continue the work of my late father, he used to work as a wood craftsman for tables like that .... amen😄
I know ive said this before but your set up and the way you got it arranged is top draw;love the router sled/table ,well user friendly set up .i bet you love it in there lol.i know i do mine .take care 👌
Nice job mate. I follow both Peters along with yourself and others. I have the UJK?? drilling system sitting in it's tube but I haven't made a table. i did have an old mft1080 though and it was nice.
You're an artist, sir. Also these are some of the most relaxing and enjoyable videos to watch, thank you for your high quality content - we appreciate it!
Beautiful table and excellent work! I am Portuguese but I live in the USA, and when I saw this table, only one image came to my mind ... the map of Portugal! I think it is very similar👍
I just found your channel, great table! hanks for the video. Around 4:40, you're polishing the epoxy, did you sand back the wood that got polished or left it like that? Was it by hand? Thanks!
hay man , happy you found the channel . it been a while on this table , as I used Odies you can simply wipe of any polish make sure its dry and then do the Odies process , I have lots of videos on this
Hi. Awesome work here. I was just wondering how you were able to prevent the resin from seeping its way out from one side of the table between pours? I'm building something similar but leaving one side of my table with the live edge. Thanks in advance!
Subbed. Great video. Thank you for no loud obnoxious music and over the top personality antics! How strong is the epoxy to resist any warping of the wood, should it decide it wants to find a more comfortable resting place?
Manor Wood I hear that moisture content is a very tricky subject and ‘dry’ can be a relative term. Seems like cutting off a smaller piece and comparing the numbers between the small piece and the large piece it came from and waiting until the numbers match and stop changing is a pretty good way. Any thoughts? I’ve cut a lot of slabs from local wood in my area and have quite a collection.
Hi, parallel (along the grain) flattening is far better against the tear-out of wood than flattening across the grain. We usually have no tear-out at parallel flattening opposite cross-cut flattening where the tear-out is pretty common... The parallel move is also faster - you have less passes between moves.
Yeah man wonderful piece of work again. I gain such insights and inspiration from your video and work. I will be admittedly stealing some of your ideas to incorporate into my projects. I'm just giving you fore warning. I'm a terrible artist, however I can take a bit of yours and a bit of his and some of hers to mix it into a nice piece of furniture.
Amazing, thank You, iam lookin for a inspiration for the resin/wood table, and this video is very inspirating. Hope, ill get just few of the tools U used in this video:-) Thank You man!
The frame you used to put the wood in there...did you wax it?...what material is it???...did you prep it. Before putting the wood there or the epoxy???
Is the table top fixed to the base, or does it just rest on the top of the framework? If the latter can the top be turned over so that the second side can be used? Either way it looks amazing.
Yes I have finished both sides to full finish , and you can see a diffident grey finish and also see into the burrs when you flip it , foam pad hold it in place
Hi love from India, loved the way u nicely presented such a detailed video. And an extremely amazing finished work. I want to make a table top with dimensions of 34inches long, 22 inches wide, and depth of half inch. Plz suggest how much resin I may require and plz suggest which rasin should be better for table top? Thnx in advance
I know it's a private thing, but would you mind giving me an idea of what sort of money bracket a piece like this is charged at? Given the materials & time, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than £5,000 but I'd be really interested to know. Gorgeous table & great video as usual!
You can do good stuff with basic tools but I would only use a belt for initial sand then use an orbital sander increasing grit value each time. As far as getting it truly flat save your self some hassle and get a router and build a sled
hello good night i'm brazilian and i follow your videos, i would like to buy a plinth that you use in your video but here in brazil it doesn't sell that size, i would like to pass the contact of the store where you bought it to me to see if i can import one
That flattening setup is amazing. Like vacuuming the floors!

100% wow factor. A carpenter, a craftsman and designer/ artist . Really beautiful table
I'm staring at the tools more than the table lol. I'm just going to say half a mill, ballpark!
I'm an engineer and I'm impressed. Amazing shop and skills. Great table
Ok 1st I have to say that is one of the best setups for planning down a board love the handle 2nd what a beautiful table
I said the same thing when I saw it, what a neat rig!
Any links to a video showing how to make that? Definitely looks like the nicest setup I’ve seen

My goodness you are a true craftsmen. I hope you are teaching a young apprentice everything to pass on to the next generation sir!
Good to know:)

What a workshop! This is so professional.
Есть Мастера, а есть Маэстро! Это работа Маэстро. Великолепно...
I’m glad I found your channel. Your work is very inspirational. A true craftsman.
Thank you
This is what you call a real Carpenter unlike all these newday ones that can't even swing a hammer. Your a rare breed brother.
The base design is just spot on. The perfect pairing to that beautiful top.
You have skills of an engineer, fantastic video to watch
Absolutely stunning table. You are one of the finest craftsman I have ever seen.

Невелика премудрость, с этими вашими фестулами)

Fantastic you have a gift sir a gift thanks for sharing your time and skill Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍👍
this is amazing and I'm going to copy that router flattening jig but I got second hand mesothelioma from all that epoxy dust through the screen.
A great blend of the resin's color and oak.
Amazing work ❤❤❤

Just extensive mouldmaking, spend a lot of time thinking modes don’t leak and hold back where you need them good luck with your build
love your tools
Subbed. Great video. Thank you for no loud obnoxious music and over the top personality antics! How strong is the epoxy to resist any warping of the wood, should it decide it wants to find a more comfortable resting place?
GlassCast 50 is very strong , used correctly with wood at correct moisture content it’s a perfect bond and will not detach from the wood

Okay shop equipment. Nice job
Great workmanship. So much more style than these guys out there using steel frames mechanical fasteners. Love the work
Stunning piece of art and with a very long and practical life ahead of it. I love it 🥰
Sweet set up you got there
Very nice! Great job building it!!!!
Enjoyed your video and gave it a Thumbs Up
Great project and it looks great
Very nice, I really like the legs you built. Were those english oak as well?
Yes
Another great looking table, I like that detail on the edge of the clear side also the way the base is set up.
Loved this vid! Great job on that fabulous work of art!
No issues with router planing lengthways with the grain ? No bad tear out ? Gorgeous as always, love the contrast from clear to wavy

Going across the grain would risk damaging that fantastic live edge.
Spot on
Dam right
Beautiful piece
What a stunning table
Well done sir

Amazing, thank You, iam lookin for a inspiration for the resin/wood table, and this video is very inspirating. Hope, ill get just few of the tools U used in this video:-)

Fantastic 👍👌Can you tell me where you can buy the machine in the beginning of the video please
omg..... nice table, i like it
You make beautiful furniture.
I love your work brother , you can learn me!!!
The frame you used to put the wood in there...did you wax it?...what material is it???...did you prep it. Before putting the wood there or the epoxy???
Check this out this will show you everything you need to know ua-cam.com/play/PLsRUsCYetChI68qdbDUWzEgWE04HTDIuR.html
merci les machines
Odies has been applied on bare wood, right ? If yes, upto what grit it's been sanded , sir?
Any grit ! Even 3000 if that your thing
Just woow, amazing piece of art!
Bloody brilliant job, mate. 👍🏽
Absolutely love the magic you create. 👌
Woohoo pushing 65K 🎆🎈 🎆
i call him the master😊

Absolutely beautiful!... Framework... Beautiful!.... I have to ask, and hopefully I'll get a reply..lol... Where did you get the milling sled from?
Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Where did the 'sizing' tools come from? The sure make it look easy to size and level the wood
Can you explain your sanding, polishing, finishing process?
I know it's a private thing, but would you mind giving me an idea of what sort of money bracket a piece like this is charged at? Given the materials & time, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than £5,000 but I'd be really interested to know. Gorgeous table & great video as usual!
Start around the 5k mark , still have some extra work in there also burr oak slab so would be more
Hello, please, would you tell me which kind castor you're using for the grinder?
Достойный инструмент!
Magnifique 👌
Great, but hiw do you fixed the table and the base?
It’s not fixed, it’s reversible
Curious about that table edge treatment. How did you prep the side to accept that extra resin application?
Thank you for showing us the build..
Kindly if you name the background music..
It’s my own music -www.etsy.com/uk/ManorWood/listing/621945849/mw-designs-music-from-youtube?Copy&ListingManager&Share&.lmsm&share_time=1568281342618
Actually i really wanna make a table like this. But i dont know how many epoxy i have to buy
Great work. Some bowties where the wood is split at the end would've been an insane touch
wwwooooowww
Amazing 👍👍😍😍👏👏
What a table..
very cool that table ... the work is past good
What and where did you get the hardware for installing the legs? Phenomenal Job as usual!
Festool Domino system , cheers
crazy good
What are those angled jaws you used with the Bessey parallel clamps to clamp the base?
Beautiful piece! What is the plastic product that is used to create the form for the resin pour?
DONT YA JUST LOVE THE IN DEPTH EXPLANATIONS OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE 😂😂😂😂
What is that router sled you used to flatten the slab? Custom made or something you bought?
ua-cam.com/video/y_tguclERKQ/v-deo.html
Good work
so great vidoes sir... i hope i can make wonderfull table likes ur videos
..
Any reason you run the flattening bit lengthwise versus widthwise?
Much faster and better finish working with the grain
Manor Wood makes sense! Thanks for the reply;)
Please what items can I buy to make my coffee small table
Alguien sabe a q angulo corto las patas
Cool. Thank you. 💪😏‼️
Congratulations for the work. What is the base of the paste you use after planing the table cover?
not sure what you mean here
👍Está perfecta!, gracias a tu video excelente
What wizardry is that router sled ?!?
My question is can do this project without these tools or can I do them with a basic belt sander?
You can do good stuff with basic tools but I would only use a belt for initial sand then use an orbital sander increasing grit value each time. As far as getting it truly flat save your self some hassle and get a router and build a sled
hello good night i'm brazilian and i follow your videos, i would like to buy a plinth that you use in your video but here in brazil it doesn't sell that size, i would like to pass the contact of the store where you bought it to me to see if i can import one
hello . which plinth?
Hi, great looking table, i was just wondering how much did all the materials cost in total (like the oak and epoxy) and how much epoxy did you use
80kg odd or resin and about 3 weeks work plea all the local English Oak..
