been binging all of your videos and you saying “if you’ve already seen me explain how to make one of these tables and just want to see the edge trick you can skip ahead” made me laugh, as if i’m not gonna eagerly sit here and watch you explain it and show it to me 1200 times, i don’t think you understand how much i will re-watch the entire process ad infinitum 😭
I'm 78 years old and have been doing woodworking for many years, yet I learn something from your videos every time I watch them. You are an amazing craftsman. Thank you for your videos.
I agree with you. Not having proper legs on a table "TO ME" can drastically raise the value of your project or cheep legs drop the value of a project. it is like having a VERA WANG make a dress for someone but then the model is wearing dirty old tennis shoes when modeling the dress ( well in todays world of clothes modeling that may be considered CHIC but you get my drift ) .
Just stumbled on your page a month ago as I've begun to set up my shop and get into woodworking. I'm amazed how you turn what you call "blemishes" into almost unnoticeable yet unique notes in your work in a way that still demonstrates complete professionalism. Basically, you make it all look really good!
Amazing work, Cam. I love how you never try to hide when something goes wrong in your videos and how you find ways to deal with mistakes. The table came out beautiful and I think those legs are beautiful and really set off the modern feel to the project.
I appreciate the fact that you are self-deprecating with a sense of humor in the face of sometimes rude or overly critical comments. Really enjoy your channel.
Hello from Ukraine. This is my favorite wood related DIY channel. I like your black epoxy style and the way you present what you do. I found the idea to make the table looks more massive absolutely genius. I haven't seen it before and I will definetly try it in my next project! I think it's pretty useful when you have a lack of epoxy. Thanks a lot!
Your this double edge reminded of my father work.. he is a marbel tiles and granite worker and for our house kitchen he did this same thing with granite and it looks seriously cool
100 yrs from now I can just imagine some walnut wood and epoxy specialist doing an evaluation of the detail and workmanship on one of your tables. Great tutorials and a pleasure to watch someone enjoy their work and produce such unique furniture.
This superb table, an Eames recliner chair and a glass of 18 year-old Macallan Malt Whisky. Life does not get any better. Your craftmanship is well worth every cent.
I find your videos by far the best on YT. I’m an experienced woodworker (over 40 years) and think I can say that you do everything in that difficult balance between perfection and yet still needing to make a profit. Perfection takes so much time that you end up working for nothing; “good enough” is never good enough. I don’t see any other maker go into such detail about each step; the method and the reason plus taking the time to list out everything used. For instance, I suspect many YT people would not tell us where to buy those legs but keep it to themselves. That really annoys me - I don’t like videos which just say “look how great I am”; yours say “here is what I do; here is how I do it and here is what I use” I’m not a great fan personally of heavily refined pieces. However, I do accept that they are a great way to use pieces of timber which otherwise would be scrap. People like them at the moment but fashion is a nebulous beast. I don’t know what will happen when the fashion changes. Please maintain the very high standard of your videos. The quality of camera work enhances the quality of the work you show.
Click click save, great thickness cheater trick. I just wanted to say thank you for your openness and honesty in all of your videos. Sharing your tricks tips and mistakes along your way. Keep doing Cam.
I’ve soon more than a few of your videos and they are all fantastic! The best part of this video is how you showed your mistake and how you corrected it. You don’t hide your mistakes and for me that is the mark of a real pro!

Wow. Thanks so much for sharing your "mistakes" and how you fix them. There are so many perfection videos out there, which are great for entertainment but don't really show you what's real and how to think outside the box to deal with the inevitable breakdowns in any major project. THIS is what I really need to learn to help me build this house I've wanted to build for the past 30 years. You can bet there will be a hella lot of "breakdowns" throughout that process! I have a long way to go, but baby steps and i hope to have a woodshop like yours in the future. Keep up the good work.
I think you did a FANTASTIC job before the bow tie and after. Personally, I think the bow tie distracts More than the epoxy did BUT to each his/her own and You Knocked it out of the park BOTH WAYS -- ROCK ON.
Great work. Two things I really appreciate about your videos: voice over makes it easier to understand your processes. Second i value the mistakes, that you keep them in the video and talk about solutions. I've quit many projects when things go wrong and its nice to see problem solving.

I was a woodworker about 27 years ago, but i went to the military service. Now i want to get back in to woodworking and your video's gave me a lot of inspiration. I have a long way to go, but baby steps and i hope to have a woodshop like yours in the future.
Keep up the good work.
Gorgeous table; love the finish, the way to make it look thicker, and the legs are the perfect set. It would look equally beautiful on the wall.
Love those legs…absolutely the right fit for that top. Quite minimalist and contemporary ♥️
I think you did a FANTASTIC job before the bow tie and after. Personally, I think the bow tie distracts More than the epoxy did BUT to each his/her own and You Knocked it out of the park BOTH WAYS -- ROCK ON.
Wow, thanks!
I love the grain in the wood and the end result is wow
The desk is amazing. My goal is to come near the excellent craftmanship and beauty of your work.
Another outstanding project. Legs are PERFECT! Your a artist!
As always... great work. Looking forward to the dusty shop epoxy video.
Great work. Two things I really appreciate about your videos: voice over makes it easier to understand your processes. Second i value the mistakes, that you keep them in the video and talk about solutions. I've quit many projects when things go wrong and its nice to see problem solving.

I am really happy that this will become a wall piece. I would like to see more wall ART from you. I believe this will move you from Maker to Artist.
Cam you always make the most elegant and classy tables with your epoxy. Great trick on this one! Great taste for the legs adds more value overall! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
Legs are nice. I think the black epoxy line looked better than the bow tie. But over all you get a 9.99999 out of 10!!!
Very stylish and the legs set it off perfectly. Awesome work!
I am sitting watching with equal parts envy and awe. I love your work generally and this piece rocks!
I want to be able to do this …
Beautiful table. The legs went very well with the design.
Simply Superb the way you attached the extension at the ends and made the angle
Wood : I was happy with my imperfection 😀but
The Blacktail studio made me perfectly gorgeous, and I'm happier. Thank you🙏.
Well done, the table looks great. Perfect proportion between legs size and countertop size. Congratulations on the colors and the choice of wood
Thanks so much!
Love the sleekness of this piece, while watching was really intrigued by the idea of using this in reverse of what you did…. As a tray style coffee table. Really an interesting design either way. Successful piece for sure. Thanks for the content. Cheers
Beautiful work! Cam. I really like how the rorschach/bookmatch effect was made slightly lessened; I often photograph placid lake and pond shorelines to achieve this effect and enjoy how the slightly distorted reflection adds a little more nuance and intrigue to the story. Most excellent content, thank you.
You built the ends the same way i do with 3/4 inch granite or quartz countertops. What a way to save wood, resin and weight! Love the technique you used!cant believe i just seen this episode??thanks Cam!
Beautiful work, love that you give free advice along with openly telling us what mistakes you made(because some of us would've never known) so that we don't make those mistakes. You and your work..... just awesome! Nuff said... lol. Stay safe and be blessed.
Thanks lady!
One of the nicest tables I've seen. Love the video, tips, errors, and ideas. Thanks
Beautiful result.
I used to watch my dad in his work shop in the basement. I love what you do I with I could make one but I have not got enough room in my house right now. Soon I hope
I love the video
I just saw this video for the first time. Wow, what a beautiful piece of wood. I think I would hang it on the wall just like the wood shop. You did a great job! Nobody but you would have noticed that little mistake but I get it. Love your videos! Keep up the good work.
Looks like the Shroud of Turin. Very nice table. The legs were perfect.
dude this table is very cool
No word to start with? Love the book match! The black looks great! The overall design is stunning! Legs match perfectly! The bow tie, on the video wasn’t that noticeable! That being said…I’ll take it if it’s free!🤣🤣🤣
