Ooh I don’t know about that jon lord from deep purple might have to be the best but Matt is definitely up there when you consider he sings while he plays the crazy shit he plays
At this point they had been together around 12 years already. They formed the band at school in 1992. That's a lot of time to get pretty tight. Also, I think Matt started learning piano at like 6 years old.
The Absolution era is their peak. To be fair they were already good by the time they released their first album. They've probably done like 50 songs by that time.
This is a great, artistic, rendition of this tune. This is such a talented band.....and at 58 I have seen some pretty incredible bands. Chris is an amazing bassist.
It's performances like this that make Muse the best live band ever. I was shocked the other day to see that Muse have picked up more awards than Metallica! It's almost unbelievable how good they are
*****inhales***** : *TALENTED, BRILLIANT, INCREDIBLE, AMAZING, SHOW STOPPING, SPECTACULAR, NEVER THE SAME, TOTALLY UNIQUE, COMPLETELY NOT EVER BEEN DONE BEFORE, UNAFRAID TO REFERENCE OR NOT REFERENCE, PUT IT IN A BLENDER, SHIT ON IT, VOMIT ON IT, EAT IT, GIVE BIRTH TO IT*
I have so many favourite artists, but Muse gives me a very unique and undescribable feeling. You probably know what I mean. Oh, and I am ADDICTED TO THIS SONG
I think his control over his head voice is one of the most impressive parts of his musicality (not to mention his godliness on guitar and piano). Have any of you guys (who can sing) tried singing in control at that high of a pitch? It ain't easy.
This is possibly their most epic songs... I love the way Chris plays bass in this songs, and how Matt plays this song on keyboard so amazingly, Only Muse make a song as cool as this and play it even better live... Such a shame they don't play much from Showbiz nowadays... :(
The all-piano version of this song is easily the best and the piano solo is amazing. The pounding on the piano keys at the end of the solo is like a damn cherry on the top of a big ass sundae.
I listen to many different music, but they're all related with rock. But Muse is the best one I've ever heard, and I don't get tired of hearing their songs over and over again.
I saw this live at Sydney on 9/12/10, I don't even know how but it was three times better than this, holy crap it was AMAZING! When he started doing that epic piano solo my jaw just dropped. Untoppable.
I love muse they are the best gruop ever.. i play all of his musics in guitar becouse they are a amazing group i love them... MUSE WILL NEVER END sory my english i'm portuguese
What I meant is that a real fan respects if they want to try something new,and don't start hating the band for that reason. They decide what they want to do,it's their music and nobody should judge them for wanting to try something new. I love their new music,it's not like their old stuff but it's really good.Matt still writes songs in the same way as before, they just put another sound to it. If you say it's shit, you obviously don't listen to the lyrics and that's not being a fan.
WalkingAbortions, I feel for you, man! I'm actually finally getting into guitar playing because of Matthew Bellamy, but in the back of my mind, I always think, "I can't do it like HE does!"
He is definetely the best pianist ever in a rock band
Ooh I don’t know about that jon lord from deep purple might have to be the best but Matt is definitely up there when you consider he sings while he plays the crazy shit he plays
Agree
The pianist in dire straits is amazing, watch tunnel of love live
Jordan rude?
Lol. ELP
I miss him playing the piano like he used to. That was amazing
The bass tone at 3:28 is just unreal, that snarl
Am I the only one overawed by his ability to play that particular piano riff and sing at the same time?
not at aaaaaaallllllll!!!!!!!!
Ive been trying to do that for years and its really hard. I cant sing and play sunburn at the same time lol
Sorry hes not actually playing its synced :(
Dude I see you everywhere
@@defaulttio _I am omnipresent_
I love how when a song starts, the audience just goes insane
One of the best and most recognisable song openings in history....just superb.
how someone masters 3 instruments- guitar, piano, and the vocal chords- so beautifully is astonishing to me
How is someone THIS good at the beginning of their careers?
Because that someone is Muse
At this point they had been together around 12 years already. They formed the band at school in 1992. That's a lot of time to get pretty tight. Also, I think Matt started learning piano at like 6 years old.
I too have always wondered about that too. Even though they had years of practice, they were unrealistically good at the beginning.
The Absolution era is their peak. To be fair they were already good by the time they released their first album. They've probably done like 50 songs by that time.
Insane talent. When Matthew plays the first notes .....oh man
This is a great, artistic, rendition of this tune. This is such a talented band.....and at 58 I have seen some pretty incredible bands. Chris is an amazing bassist.
When he starts play the intro to Sunburn it's like pure ecstasy.
It really is...tingles all over lol
It's performances like this that make Muse the best live band ever. I was shocked the other day to see that Muse have picked up more awards than Metallica! It's almost unbelievable how good they are
This is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen any band do... LOVE this sped up version of Sunburn.
it's disgusting how flawless this band is live.
Matthew can even make piano look exhausting, I will NEVER stop loving this trio :3

Only Matt Bellamy could make ~slapping the piano~ look freaking professional.
youtube recommending this video in 2020 is the best thing to start off the year for me
the piano in this song is beautiful beyond words...
Ditto on 3:41 Hands are mesmerizing. I want to be that microphone.
This song is so intense and emotional! Everytime I listen to it my heart feels lighter beats faster and I get goose bumps...I guess i just luv Muse!
I have so many favourite artists, but Muse gives me a very unique and undescribable feeling. You probably know what I mean. Oh, and I am ADDICTED TO THIS SONG

That's why I love piano.
That's why I love Muse
You can't play unlimited things on piano you can that's why I like piano
I think his control over his head voice is one of the most impressive parts of his musicality (not to mention his godliness on guitar and piano). Have any of you guys (who can sing) tried singing in control at that high of a pitch? It ain't easy.
Muse = Greatest Band, absolutely, definitely!
I can't face the shaaaayyeeaaaaahhhhh
breathtakingly phenomenal. I do wish to be that amazing on piano.
I loved those crazy bass effects sounds too!
This is possibly their most epic songs... I love the way Chris plays bass in this songs, and how Matt plays this song on keyboard so amazingly, Only Muse make a song as cool as this and play it even better live... Such a shame they don't play much from Showbiz nowadays... :(
My god, this has to be the best live sunburn performance they havdone
The beginning of the song after the intro is so good
Incredible talent. Such a brilliant band.
One of my favorite muse songs!!! BRILLIANT, truely amazing. BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At first I was like wait… who’s gonna play the guitar?? Lol but then I was super impressed when he went crazy at the piano instead
I love this song. It is simply my favorite Muse song. The keyboard, lyrics, drums ...everything.
The all-piano version of this song is easily the best and the piano solo is amazing. The pounding on the piano keys at the end of the solo is like a damn cherry on the top of a big ass sundae.
Fucking great song, Sunburn. One of my favorites. Muse are the BEST concert I've ever been to. Absolutely sensational show. I worship them.
I'm going to their concert on saturday and I really really hope they'll play this one!
Piano to marvel at, a wailing voice to sing along with, distorted bass to mosh to...
Man, I love Muse.
Woah, shredding on the piano! Win!
adding "woaaarrrrdddd" sound effect is perfectly fit with this song, sound like alien ship burning in the sky
3:43
WACK WACK WACK
Best performance 😍
I listen to many different music, but they're all related with rock.
But Muse is the best one I've ever heard, and I don't get tired of hearing their songs over and over again.

One of the finest snare drums that I have heard.
They should play both! They are so amazing.
Soooo good
The problem with that perfect live version is that I won't be able to listen the studio version...
that bass tone is so f!@^&%! unique, during the chorus and verse.
3:41 :)

What I meant is that a real fan respects if they want to try something new,and don't start hating the band for that reason.

I love their new music,it's not like their old stuff but it's really good.Matt still writes songs in the same way as before, they just put another sound to it.
If you say it's shit, you obviously don't listen to the lyrics and that's not being a fan.
The snare drum is fantastic.
BEAUTIFUL.
WalkingAbortions, I feel for you, man! I'm actually finally getting into guitar playing because of Matthew Bellamy, but in the back of my mind, I always think, "I can't do it like HE does!"

Matt keeps the crowd in such suspense!
have you ever heard good rock without guitar? here you go!
Hehe gotta love that 60-second intro... Totally builds the suspense, makes you wonder "What the ef are they gonna play next?!"
I like how he slaps the piano
Matt is an musical genius
