i love the syncopated version of that riff in the second chorus. the unpredictable rhythm just is awesome. unfortunately this means its hard to learn lol. the first verse is easy though

If you study a bit, you'll see the similarities come from the application of Christological language where it doesn't belong and the blatant stretching of mythology by dishonest pseudo-scholars bent on sensationalism rather than academic integrity.

If you want to you could check out e.g. Stockholm Syndrome, The Small Print, Unnatural Selection or MK Ultra by Muse, I think those should be rocky enough... But anyway 'good music' is a matter of personal taste so have fun listening to your favourite bands while I'm listening to mine ;-)

"I don't believe in god because there is no proof he exists, but I can't know for sure he doesn't." is something an agnostic atheist would say. Hope I could clear that up.
@blackbeltmisha well, according to musewiki and some interviews in muse edition og NME, matt is more likely to be agnostic, as he, at least in the interviews, knows that he doesn't know everything, and is aware that maybe there is something about life human's doesn't know. Even in this song, he describes an atheist, not necessearily himself. It is, at least in my mind, a song about beeing open to more answers, not only the oppinion that is stuck in your head.

nope in most forms of christianity, the people who believe in differant religions will still go to heaven if they're good people. That means pretty much all Buddhists, Hinduists, Jews, most muslims, christians, confucionists, and pretty much every other religion that justifies doing good things and being well.....good. And also, BELIEVERS also have 1 standing arguement that never fails, "you cannot prove that there isn't a god" badass song btw
