Glad to see everything worked out. Good thing you didn't strip that steering wheel bolt or break that torx bit with that dewalt compact impact wrench. I just bought a 1/2 inch dewalt impact wrench today too. I wonder if it would have stripped or broke using that on that steering wheel bolt, 🤔 Lol. I want to do this upgrade on my 2013 300c. I already have the tazer installed, just need to look up the parts or find a steering wheel that has the paddle shifters already on that I can make a direct swap to.
@@humanoid7765 Just used the DCF 900 on the steering wheel bolt with a 10mm hex standard socket from HF and used an 1/2 to 3/8th adapter it came off instantly with no resistance. Maybe I was lucky but I had nobody to help me to I took the chance.
I don't know since I didn't have a heated steering wheel. You may want to check Charger forums www.chargerforumz.com You may also try contacting Steve White Motors. I ordered some of my parts from them. www.stevewhiteparts.com
I don't know. You may want to ask on www.chargerforumz.com to see if they know. The strange thing is, the harness I got had an extra plug on it. There is a place for it to plug into on the steering column but there is no wires on that end. Maybe this is for the heated steering wheel or some other option I don't have?

My impact wrench is not very strong. It will not even remove lug nuts.
Cool socket wrench though.

How did your friend get the screw to loosen up?
I held the steering wheel while he used a breaker bar.
what do you need the wiring harness for
It's for the paddle shifters. The non-paddle shifter equiped cars do not have the appropriate plugs for the paddle shifter to plug into.
How much was it for everything?
Around $300 for the parts.
