- The best mod I've done so far to my 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 - install paddle shifters! I love these.
For more information about purchasing and installation of the control module check out:
www.lxcs.weebly.com
I install it on my Dodge Challenger SRT8 2008 and It's Just Amazing
Luc Parietti where you get yours from ?
Did you get it from a Mercedes dealer for the nag1 ?
I've been looking for pedals for my 2010 and cannot find them anywhere under the Dodge name, so this might be a solution
How long ago did you purchase the control module? I've emailed the guy multiple times and haven't gotten a response. Trying to make sure he's still making and selling them.
I have a 2006 300C and want paddle shifters and plan on getting the led steering wheel for my car that people also get for scatpacks. What route should I take?
I got mine from a vendor on the LX forums so I would search there first and ask owners.
www.300cforums.com/threads/how-to-wireless-paddle-shifter-install.151058/
You ever install it?
Do you have to use the wireless dongle or is there a way to wire it directly? Unfortunately all the photos on most of the write up on the forums are no longer available. I was hoping to find a video showing how it was done. I know on the 05-06’s one could just use some pins on the clockspring? But I have a 2010 and apparently there aren’t any pins available? Please advise, I like the idea of hard wiring better than the module
You don't have to use wireless module, there was a wired version but it was more complicated to install. The wireless is more expensive but easier to install. Did you check out the website in the description, their site might have diagrams for hardwiring which may help.
@@SerhansGarage do i have to do any wiring with the transmission
@@nslsqetzyy7577 no wiring to the transmission. You just need power to the module which you can access inside steering wheel and it wirelessly communicates with the vehicle...it's an easy install but as others have commented, the supplier does not appear to be in business anymore so I don't know if you can order the hardware anymore
How much did everything cost?
Wireless transmitter - 250us
AMG paddle shifters - eBay 150us free shipping
Took about 3 weeks for all the parts to come to me in Germany.
@@eco161inftreg which Amg did the shifters come from?
@@eco161inftreg hey were did u get the transmitter from name...I can get paddle shirt from M Benze
👍👍👍👍👍 now the jeep
Ouch!! That's some long delay. Wanted to do this to. I hate the sideways slapstick but love these first gen re launched chargers. In all honesty you can buy a 07 cls amg55 with shifters from factory preinstalled. Probably same amount of money depending on miles ect. Plus 475 supercharged hp vs srts na 425!
55 AMG’s are the secret to life
If you can, do
A video
On your steering will cover. Thanks
Is there a way without using a wireless piece? I just want to use wire
I don't know I just have experience with the wireless module - just to be clear it connects to the power in the steering wheel for power, it's wireless in the sense it sends the signal wirelessly . There is no delay in using wireless module . Check out the website in the description and try check some online forums for more information
Could you just swap an srt8 6.4 Chrysler 300 steering wheel with the paddle shifters? I think it would look cleaner, I want to do it myself
No. The transmission on the 6.4 is different. This will work with the Nag1 Mercedes transmission on the 5.7 and 6.1 hemis
The 6.4 chrysler 300 has actual stock paddle shifters you shouldve had with the car already installed if not u can order them
What’s the wireless module name so it can be ordered ?
Universal LX Paddle Shift Kit ( wireless
Can I use this on my 2011 Jeep grand Cherokee
Can anyone get ahold of him anymore really want this kit for my 300c
Where u got that steering wheel from?
I replaced the leather cover with a custom cover made from Redline Goods.
Would it be possible to make it shift faster , like a hellcat? Like if I get the transmission built will it get rid of the delay
I dont think so but with a Tuner you might be able to make the shifts firmer so it will feel like gears change faster. If it's very firm shifts your neck will jerk everytime the car shifts...like a manual. This should also extend the life of transmission since there is less friction when changing gears
Yes, you can either change out the solenoids, tune or build the transmission which will require upgrading the solenoids. Here is a quote from challengertalk forum "I did the AMG blue tops on my Mercedes in June '12.
The solenoids ran $446 for the pair and I had the trans service (fluid, filter) that ran about $225 - MB ATF is a bit more $ than the Chrysler spec ATF+4. I'm still utilizing the OEM clutch material, but its different from what Chrysler uses is their version.
Very happy with the results - much more responsive transmission, faster / firm shifts and instant downshifts (throttle or with shifter).
"Woke up" the transmission. Thanks the the Mopar guys, I learned about this for my 'Benz
My Challenger is a 6-speed stick..."
diablo sport
Can someone please provide me a diagram on how to afford this vehicle?
Thanks
No kids>no partner funding>no family funding>invest=time+life force (entrepreneurship for it even if you work to pay your stuff) more race parts!
I like to drift my 300 but my trans is shifting in manual mode. Will that stop with paddle shifters
I don't think so
Do you kn of anyone selling this 2008 challenger
Still available for purchase ?
Some have left comments saying the vendor is not responding so I don't think the module os available to purchase
Where can I get the blue module for it to work and the paddle shifter I want to do this too my 300c
Check the description for website but I don't know if the module is being made anymore.
This might be a dumb question but is it the same setup for a 2.7 2010 charger. My buddy is wanting paddles lol
I think so. I just looked at the information on lxcs.weebly.com and it's for Charger and 300 from 2006 on. I am not sore if the supplier is still in business though as some said that there is no reply from the website.
@@SerhansGarage I just realized he’s running a 4spd in it and you got a 5spd don’t ya. That’s funny. Dang thanks
where did you get steering wheel cover from,,,,,…..
Redline Goods

Would they fit a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee srt8 ?
I don't think so...I think the Jeep has a different transmission
Where can I get the wireless module, you left the paddle shifter part number, but trying to locate module
The website where you can buy the control module is in the description.
TRStone_00@hotmail.com
Shoot him an email with the information for your car. He sent mine out like a day or two after I paid him. He has a butt ton of information about wiring them up. Pretty cool guy.
Where can i order the kit to do this?
The vendor that I got my module from to control the transmission does not appear to be in business anymore. It's in the video description. You can try searching the Charger and Challenger forums. The paddleshifters themselves can be bought at any Mercedes dealership.
Can I add paddle shifts on my dodge challenger rt 2010?
Yes you can. The supplier of this module doesn't appear to be in business anymore so I don't know where you can buy the module.
Can’t find them
would it work for a 2007 jeep grand Cherokee srt8 6.1 hemi
No. The Jeep has different transmission
So do you know the part number they are, or which Mercedes had the nag1 with paddles that they fit ?
I've looked everywhere for my 2010 Challenger, and nobody on the aftermarket makes them for it. So this might be the solution to my problem and would be awesome, thanks man
Part number is in screen shot about a minute into the video
A 171 267 00 46 is part number.
Check out the website in the description aswell.
@@SerhansGarage okay thanks, I will check it out and appreciate the info. Is the bluetooth transformer you were talking about, on there bud ?
@@lovethesmellofracefuelinth7374 the website explains how the transmitter works and how to wire it. It was easy to do.
@@SerhansGarage oh okay, right on. So do they actually sale the transmitter on there, or is it something I would have to get at a Mercedes dealership ?
Hello everyone where can I get the module to install my paddle shifter. Any info helps thanks

Do they have paddle shifter for the 3.5 Avenger?
I dont think so but there might be aftermarket paddleshifter kits available.
@@SerhansGarage Thanks I'm tryna figure out how the Stormtroop had them and the Recent Rally car they put out. I'll have to look into a aftermarket
Will this work on 2009 sxt charger ? Mine is a v6 engine
If it's the same 5 speed transmission as the RT models than yes it should work.
Serhan's Garage where do you get your parts from ? Or do you have part number ?
@@DeeWadeSoundz the paddle shifters can be bought at any Mercedes dealership. Refer to the website in the description for the module. That's all you need, the paddles and the module.
@@DeeWadeSoundz at 0:52 is the part number of the paddle shifters.

Paddle shifters can be picked up at Mercedes dealerships part # A171 267 0046. It's in the video a minute into the video.
The module can be purchased from the developer. Website is in the description. Mine is wireless version.
is there delay on the changes ?
Nayexx no, shift tine is same as using as the stick. Its not the fastest shifting transmission to begin with
can this work on the 5.7 2008 chrysler 300
Yes. It's the same mercedes benz transmission.
@@SerhansGarage is it the same procedure as shown in the video
@@vzopresidential788 yes. Same steps. Only issue is trying to find this specific module. I purchased mine years ago and some viewers commented they could not get a hold of the vendor. See description for website of vendor.
Where can I get these from
James Mcafee website address is in the description for the control module...the shifters you can buy at any Mercedes Dealership.
What’s page name
On how to install them
Can I go it for my 2007 Jeep SRT8
Unfortunately no....the transmission in the Jeep is different otherwise I would have totally done that to mine.
Where do I get them 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
The website.for.the.wireless module is in the description and paddle shifters can be bought at any Mercedes dealership
Serhan's Garage thanks 😏
Serhan's Garage what year do u ask for at Mercedes dealer ship
@@SerhansGarage what’s the paddle shifters name so when you got to the dealer you will know what to ask for and how do you buy the module to control it
@@TheJayalize part number is in the vid around the 1 minute mark. Just say you want AMG paddle shifters. Check out the website in description. I think you email the developer of the module.
Lo puedes hacer en español
there’s such a delay lmao
The delay when shifting is sooo bad
Is there anyway to counter the delay
Maybe like a tune
Any delay is because of the transmission , not the module. This transmission is not the fastest shifting transmission to begin with and there's no lag with the wireless module. It shifts same speed as shifting with the stick shifter.
6speeds are better🙂
Better idea be a man buy a real manual
Lol. I hear you, I do prefer manual but this car comes in auto only and wifey drives it 95% of the time. This was a good compromise for me though.
@@SerhansGarage do me a favor have more respect for her she's you WIFE not Wifey you at 13years old
@Arthur Vega I wouldn't call any dodge cheap
I dont think its worth it to buy those paddle shifters, the delay is so terrible and takes too long
I disagree....it shifts just as fast as using the factory stick shift...theres no delay using the wireless transmitter for the paddleshifters. This isnt the fastest shifting transmission to begin with.
True, pedals simply allow the same shifting from the steering wheel. Upgraded solenoids and tuning will improve shifting speed. This was done to protect and warranty the transmissions
Can it be applied to the manual transmission challenger
No...5 speed auto only.
Come on dude
Lol yes but you have to shift while pushing the paddle. But easy install no wires to mess with
Hey were can I get module from....
