Love it! Have myself a strix 4080 super got it for 1029 dollars new 😉. Best card I've used hands down I'm sry I love asus lol. Thing is it's 14.1 inches! It's the longest card on the market and I had to wiggle it's way into my lian li air mini it's practically touching the front fan. Rady for this I have the best temps I've ever seen from any strix or 4080 super this year. Must have gotten the best pads and best paste job ever. It's freaking 29c idle with fans at 0rpm! I was literally having to prove it to peoppe on reddit because they all told me it was impossible. But what makes the feet even more impressive. It's in a case that was said to not be the best for gpus and cooling. It only has 3 black stock lian li fans. No aio only an air cooler for my cpu. My strix is 29c idle, 59c under load and ive seen it hit 61c max. I was also able to OC it over 3000mhz and was able to push the power to it's full 30% extra at 420watts! Only 2 cards can do that on thr market. So yeah she's a beast man. Sry I'm just as excited about my newer 4080 super as you just figured I wouod share also! Appreciate your video and I hope you enjoy the card brotha. Asus def has the best cards this generation with the best coolers imo. I did have to use the adapter and not the native 600watt cable from corsair. Because the 600watt native cable only has 2 sensory pins which means it won't allow you to push past the tdp even if it's able to. Because the gpu somehow knows or thinks it doesn't have those 3 plugs in and jnstead it thinks there are 2 from only having 2 sensory pins which is what gamers nexus was trying to say. So yeah the 3 plug adapter I kept it and am using it and it works flawlessly luckily these aren't running at 450 or 600 watts alot and the newer plugs are fine anyways. Even when mine is sry to 420 watts it never actually goes to that.
Sounds like you got an awesome mini build🔥your temps are awesome ! And I think the ROG Strix has amazing cooling performance and worth the additional premium especially since you have a tiny build. Thanks for sharing :)
tnx for the video. i have a question. whats the main diffrence between tuf and rog beside look and rgb? is rog have better build material that can affect long term use? i normally use my pc for long time (10 hour per day)+(for more than 5 years) and i want to know if is there any diffrence that make rog better at long term use. or is there just the name and look.
It’s not just name and look. The ROG STRIX version has better chip binning and cooling performance. Idk how that affects long term use, but it probably isn’t that much of a difference. I would go for ROG version for the aesthetics
I have the asus rog strix x670e-i mobo with 7800x3d and asus tuf 4080super oc as well. Its an insane setup. I use corsair platinum dominator ram at 6k cl30
I ordered mine from Amazon brand new and when it showed up at my house the box was completely destroyed and closed with duct tape so I returned it and now they’re taking forever on my return😒
@@FIREWOLFTECH yes! The seller was Amazon and at the time I even had gotten it on sale so when I reordered it again through b&h the price had gone up unfortunately
Fans only spins when your GPU hits a certain temp. This usually happens when you’re gaming or doing graphic intensive work. Besides that, your GPU should be still :)
i love these card but all 4080 tuf users will need to change the thermal past in few month.. i checked that too ( get a 4080 s tuf oc) and it was so crazy what i was seeing there. first two month 76° after some weeks about 80° and few weeks above 100 . The thermal paste was still printed incorrectly. And the thermal paste itself is pure dirt. The 4090 chip is vertical and the 4080 is horizontally and they slapped the same cover from the 4090 version onto the 4080 and so the chip on the 4080 is not completely covered with thermal paste, which dissolves into its components sooner or later anyway.. still 74 after the change
@@2Guys1ControllerShow it comes sooner or later. u can trust me and google urself 4080 tuf thermal paste problem. ALL 4080 tuf users will get problems in the future. sooner or later anyway. just a warning! The chip dies faster..

just bought this card last night. suprisingly noticable improvement over a 4070 TI super
Nice 🔥 What resolution you play in ?
@@FIREWOLFTECH 3440x1440. I tried 4k and it’s hard to go back to 16:9
For gaming I do prefer ultrawide, but for productivity a 32-inch 4K is slightly better for me. I wish OLED Ultrawides were higher resolution
Love your channel bro! I got the MSI Gaming Slim X 4080s and was thinking of switching to this one whats yoir opinon on that? They are same price
I have this card paired with my Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
All around absolutely amazing!
Have mine with 5800x3d and next will be that upgrade. Great combo
