Hey, it's the standard knitter here again! I truly love this pattern so much I created a pattern of my own for standard knitters using ur picture & words & some ideas of my own. It's my 1st full pattern I've created myself!!! I don't see a way to post just a picture or I would, but if anyone is interested in the pattern I could post it here b/c it's relatively short. Thanks again for your help : )!
Amy Murphy Johnson hi! If you want, you can send us an e-mail to info@tuteate.com and we can post your directions here: www.tuteate.com/2014/01/20/teje-calentadores-de-lana-con-telar-circular/ .
thank you so much for this video... i am new to loom knitting and it explains alot of different stiches that i didnt even know you can do with a loom. i am a very proficient crocheter, but i am all thumbs when it comes to trying to learn how to knit the conventional way. excellent video.
Thank you so much for this video I'm a very visual person and readable instructions get me more frustrated then any thing. So thanks again love the music also
When I came across your tutorials, I was so happy. I'm teaching myself how to loom knit and its so fun, especially now that I can follow you. I've only finished one project, fingerless gloves, my 11 yr old loves them. Question time! I'm working on theses leg warmers and didn't make them quite as long because it takes me forever to do the ribbed stitch. Do you think your knit stitch I did on the gloves would work? Thanks oh and I cant wait to try the infinity scarf with the XL loop.
Hi, thank you so much for your videos. I taught myself to Loom Knit after spinal surgery and I love it. Your tutorials are so clear and easy to understand. I've made the cup cozy and am working on the turban headband. I have a question about the leg warmers. My loom is slightly bigger than yours it's 20cm in diameter with 36 pegs. Would this work ok do you think? I'd love to make them. Thanks a lot for your help
Nikki Kershaw hi! Thank you for your comment and your nice words :) (we'd love to see your cup cozy and your turban! if you want to, feel free to send us some pictures to info@tuteate.com). The 36 peg loom could work, the result will be wider though. If you use thicker yarn on your loom, such as bulky yarn or so, then the result will be tighter. Hope this helps!
Hi! I've looked thru hundreds of legwarmer patterns & I still love urs the best!!! Problem is I'm not a loom knitter, I'm a plain old needle knitter. I love this pattern & I understand how to convert it up until the part where u seem to no longer be knitting in the round & start the really cool patchwork looking part essentially knitting back & forth. So sorry if this is confusing but any help on the end part (that goes down ankle) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance. P.S. I must say, I think I may even try my hand at loom knitting, it looks pretty interesting & it's always fun to learn new skills! Thanks again for the great pattern : )
Amy Murphy Johnson hi! Thank you so much for your words :) Let's see if anybody can help you, because I have never knitted in the standard way, sorry...
Hello Tuteate thank you so much for your tutorial. You are the only one that I could find on youtube so far teaching on how to loom leg warmner. I am glad I found you. Question do you have loom leg warmer pattern with lace stitches on it?
Thanks for your positive words! :) For the moment we do not have any tutorial with lace stitches, but we take note of it and we'll try to make one in the future!
I love your tutorials- the leg warmers you demonstrated was for adults correct? How would I adjust pattern for my seven year old granddaughter? Thank you so much for your help
I love all your patterns and I can't wait to try this! I'm wanting a little bit of a longer leg warmer, if I just continue the P2-K2 pattern would I be able to adjust these to the length that I want?
So I made it... but I didn't count the pegs... so when I finished it it was too tight... haha I love the tutorial though it's great and my product looked great even though it was small.
Would you be able to make a video on how to make baby leg warmers? I'm having trouble figuring it out and I need to make a few pairs for Halloween. I have a small loom with 24 pegs. Thank you!
+Ashley DeHart this os not my channel but maybe i can help i belive you need the12 peg loom that would be i belive from 6 to 9 mounths from 10 to 13 cm long
hey im trying to find a tutorial on how to make leg warmers for my upcoming annie from LoL cosplay and i was wondering is it possible to make two color ones with this tutorial? i really liked this tutorial so i wasnt sure
+rinny chu hi! Yes, you can use 2 colors on this project if you want :) Here you can check these other 2 video tutorials on how to work color changes: ua-cam.com/video/axdcRJyDmw4/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/ujArndFzEjY/v-deo.html
I'm using a 24 peg loom for my 7 year old granddaughter, she is very thin, other than using a smaller loom is there anything else that needs to be changed/adjusted? Like the first round being 4 cm? Should I do 2 cm? Etc?? Love your work and this is my first loom project :)
+Melissa Hunt hi! Apart from working it shorter (changing 4cm to 2cm for example, as you said), the only stitch you may need to work a little different will be the one starting at minute 2:41. This stitch is worked alternating 2 different steps (knit 1 peg, pass the yarn "in front" to the next peg), that need to be also alternated in the next round (where you knit, then you have to pass the yarn, and where you passed the yarn you will knit). On a 24 peg loom you will need to "force" this change at the beginning of the next round. Hope this helps!
When i go to your website you wont allow us to translate in our own language so how are we going to get the pattern to see how many rounds. I love your patterns and have done a few. Please advise. Thanks
i got a question hopefully you or someone else can help me ??? question is ??? what size yarn are you using, ive tried with the thin yarn and i didnt like it,so i have 2 skeins of size 4 ( medium ).. can i use that and if so what size loom do i need ???? ( how many pegs )....THANK YOU :\
For the next step after doing the 4cm of knitting, you do the step for 4 rounds right? and the next step is do the opposite ..do you also do that for 4 rounds?
Hi Kimberly! After the 4cm of knitting, there are just 4 rounds of alternating "knit" and "leave the yarn". But since we have an odd number of pegs (31 pegs), once we finish one round the next round is always the opposite. Sorry because it could lead to confusion
Keven Cordova hi! You could avoid the curling by alternating 1 knit - 1 purl (as we did here for the brim of this other project: ua-cam.com/video/rPFztd0143M/v-deo.html
+Carly G befor you take your work off triy useing a dif pice of cut yarn put it throw the loop or loops befor taken your work off. thin you wount lose your work and can replace it bake on to fix it
Hi KuWiLDaN05! :-) All the directions are almost the same for a 30 peg loom. When you reach minute 04:16, start the round as we show it on the video (this means start it with the opposite stitch you started the previous round). On the other hand, you better replace the double ribbing stitch used from minute 04:41 to 07:18 by a normal ribbing stitch (1 purl - 1 knit instead of 2 purls - 2 knits). The other parts can be done in the same way. Hope this helps!
KuWiLDaN05 sure! Some of our loom knitting tutorials may be for men too. Here you have the whole list: ua-cam.com/play/PLRk-IKVEJpjPlfkep9X-yASYWKBOexDxD.html (the hats and scarves are suitable for both men and women). Gracias :)
Do you have any videos on loom knitting a dog sweater.I own a pomerianian, wrong spelling. I am new at knit looming but i need help finding a video for him. Please help me.
Hi Suzee! You can follow the same directions :) Just replace the double ribbing stitch used from minute 04:41 to 07:18 by a normal ribbing stitch (1 purl - 1 knit instead of 2 purls - 2 knits). The other parts can be done in the same way.
Actually I'm trying 2 purl-2 knit and when I get to peg 29 and 30 then do 1 purl and 1 knit! I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks! If it doesn't turn out then I'll go to 1 purl and 1 knit. Fun! Fun!
Hi there! Thanks for your comment. We are sorry if this music makes you get nervous. We suggest you to turn off the youtube volume and listen to the music you like while you are watching our tutorials :)
Your tutorials are the BEST! Thank you for giving me the courage to do this project - you make it look so easy!
Thank you for your comment Mary! :) So glad to know you enjoy these tutorials!

This is really cool
what brand of looms are you using? Leg Warmers are beautiful! Thank you!!!
These are adorable! Your videos are super easy to follow... What size yarn do you recommend for the leg warmers?
Hello Tuteate thank you so much for your tutorial. You are the only one that I could find on youtube so far teaching on how to loom leg warmner. I am glad I found you. Question do you have loom leg warmer pattern with lace stitches on it?

I love your tutorials- the leg warmers you demonstrated was for adults correct? How would I adjust pattern for my seven year old granddaughter? Thank you so much for your help
Hi Joyce! I would use the 24-peg loom. I think you can follow the same directions described on the video
thank you
It looks like you go counterclockwise... Does it matter which direction you start?
I love all your patterns and I can't wait to try this! I'm wanting a little bit of a longer leg warmer, if I just continue the P2-K2 pattern would I be able to adjust these to the length that I want?

I'm having the same problem. I think I'm going to try the 36 peg loom and see how that turns out.
They're absolutely beautiful !
If anyone knows of a pattern to knit aproximately the same model, it would be greeeeat :)
Thanks

Yes it does...thank you so much :)
would this be suitable for a beginner, i've never stiched before
Hello! How do they fit once knit? I'm making some for larger women with a wider calf. Would a larger loom work?
Should I use 2 strands of yarn for thinner yarn they are Ply 4
Do you have to loom it that way?
What kind of yarn do you use
What gauge is the loom please? My set is 3/8” which may be too tight with a chunky yarn. Thanks your reply would be appreciated.
can you do this using the rectangular looms?
Leah Mondloch hi! Maybe yes, you could work in rounds on a part of a rectangular loom...
( how many pegs )....THANK YOU :\
my loom has only 30 pegs , will that be ok to use
Are these leg warmers for an adult or teenager ? Can you also use the 31 pegs to make toddler size?
Hi Ellen! (sorry for this late reply) Yes, these leg warmers are for an adult, but we think you could follow the same directions for a teenager
Cool, now my daughter will be happy knowing that I can make her a pair. :)
Can you use a 30 peg loom?
Joc Nouansavane hi! Yes, you can :)

Will the ends curl up as they do in your photo? If so, how do I keep them flat?
Keven Cordova hi! You could avoid the curling by alternating 1 knit - 1 purl (as we did here for the brim of this other project: ua-cam.com/video/rPFztd0143M/v-deo.html
Can this pattern be used on a 36 peg round loom?
Kim Melikian hi! Yes, I think it should work :)
I think I may have made a mistake when pulling the loop off the loom and its untwisting? How do I fix an error on a loom?
+Carly G befor you take your work off triy useing a dif pice of cut yarn put it throw the loop or loops befor taken your work off. thin you wount lose your work and can replace it bake on to fix it
If i use a loom with 30 pegs, will it be the same? One peg can make a huge difference
Hi KuWiLDaN05! :-) All the directions are almost the same for a 30 peg loom. When you reach minute 04:16, start the round as we show it on the video (this means start it with the opposite stitch you started the previous round).

***** it sounds great :)
Why do you never do a vid where you talk in it?
I would like to know that also, because she has some very good videos.
My 19cm loom only has 30 pegs. Do you think that would be a problem?
I hope not, I really wanna make some of these for my Mom. :)
shenronrulez hi! It should be fine too :)
your videos are grate but the music is awful please don't play any sounds that make us nervous
