As a cat and dog owner this shit made me emotional as hell especially when it came to the baby kittens it reminded me of when i adopted my cat frankie while he was still a baby kitten and raised him as my own son
In answer to the question, kittens who need a home. They remind me of the 12 year old cats we share our home with, who came to us as part of an abandoned litter of 4-day old kittens. The unconditional love they give us all the time makes them central to our home and beloved companions. Thanks for sharing this, I really enjoyed it.
Judy Garland loved the cairn terrier, Terry, when the worked together on the wizard of oz. During filming, someone accidentally stepped on Terry’s paw so she spent a couple weeks recuperating at Judy’s house. She wanted to adopt her, but Terry’s owner didn’t allow it.
As adorable and irresistible the little kittens and puppies on the list are, I've found myself falling in love with older rescues. They are often the hardest to get adopted, and many have been in rescue homes for a long time. And all animals deserve a loving home.
If I could I would either adopt the horse who portrayed Seabiscut in the movie Seabiscut or I would have adopted the Golden Retriever who portrayed shadow in the homeward bound movies.
Fun fact: during the filming of The Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland fell in love with the dog playing Toto so much that she tried to get legal custody of him, but failed. Another fun fact: that EXACT SAME dog can be seen in the 1934 Shirley Temple film “Bright Eyes”
I know this video is 6 months old but I just adopted a Husky mix with heterochromia and this made me really emotional. Anyone that respects animals is good in my book!
Jeffrey Dean Morgan rescued and adopted a dog while filming in Puerto Rico. He, and his co-stars, said the dog was hit by a car. Morgan took the dog to a vet, and then adopted him.
I'm afraid the two animals I would have wanted to take home from a movie set are long gone. Friday from Edward Arnold's two-film detective series and Asta from the longer Thin Man series!
I loved Asta aka Skippy. Besides the Thin Man series he was Mr. Smith in "The Awful Truth" and the dinosaur-bone stealing terrier in "Bringing Up Baby". He was known for only needing one take. My love for terriers (which I didn't know I had, having grown up loving RinTinTin & Lassie) shifted to Moose, Uggie, and Inspector Barnaby's terriers in "Midsomer Murders".
I am never going to be in a movie with animals, my place isnt big enough for all of them. I understand Taylor Swift though, I always fall in love with cats. if I had the space a horse is a wonderful friend. I have had several over the years. right now I have 3 rabbits and am happily owned by a cat!

You forgot Johnny Depp in Sleepy Hollow.
I’m so sad that only Sophie Turner was able to adopt her Direwolf. Would’ve been so cool to see all the Stark children have their dogs in real life
Johnny Depp rescued his horse from Sleepy Hollow. They were gonna lay him down til he hired the best vets and took him home!
You beat me to it! Was gonna say the same thing!🙂

What a unique and beaiful topic for this list. No need for the 10 best. All stories here are the best. Thanks!

I'm glad those furry critters found a good home.
