That must take INCREDIBLE strength and determination from that bird. Truly amazing that osprey can fight to grab that fish and hook it, with nothing other than wings swim back up to surface and to be able to pump his wings hard and fast enough to take flight with the large added weight of the fish, the fact that he’s soaked, the waves crashing into him, and the fish wiggling under water to get away. That’s just amazing to me

It enables them to pull their prey upwards out of the water and then switch to horizontal flight. This is why the US military named their unique vertical-takeoff-or-landing aircraft the Osprey.

The moment that bird got its wings going, I knew that fish had gone from fish to food. It doesn't matter how deep you are being dragged right now, never stop working your wings, whatever they may be in your case. I declare you will not only get free, but you will also soar away with the price.

The osprey is my spiritual animal and if there is a second life I’d love to be one. They’re so majestic and well evolved. Every year I watch them build their nest, hunt and watch the hatchling grow right out my back door. I literally watch the babies grow up and come back home to my backyard. They are awesome!!!!
Great encouragement. No matter how life becomes difficult trying to pull yourself through hard situations. Keep holding on to your dream, and have courage and faith you will emerge victorious. The eagle did not let go of its prey despite almost drowning three times but it came out with its catch.
The effort to fly from the sea would be huge. Wings hampered by the waves plus the weight of the fish. Amazing bird.
