I came here on a tip from "Itchy Boot's" a You Tuber " that has done a World tour . And I see that you have the same kind of "sand " that you call "silt" Its very similar to the "Fech fech" in the Sahara dessert. Even UNIMOGs got stranded there . Respect.
Not gonna lie… I watches all 4 of these and this one absolutely brought tears to my eyes. I dont think I have ever wanted someone to succeed so incredibly bad. If this series doesn’t inspire a whole generation of new riders I dont know what could. Bravo Gents!!! Men of true constitution!!!
I'm sitting at my computer in my chair at soon to be 51 years old and find myself yelling out loud "come on dude" "pick it up dude" cheering you on. I felt a bit younger and inspired by watching this. Congratulations on being an Iron Man
LARRY THANK YOU SO SO MUCH PICKING OUR 2 WHEEL SPORT TO BE INVOLVED IN PUTTING SOVSOBSO MUCH TIME AND $$$$$$$$$ TO DO WHAT YOU DID AND DO !! THANK YOU FOR THAT LOVE ALL YOUR NARRIATIONS DIRECTING ALL THE MOVIES THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT !! GREAT EFFORT !! CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊 UNBELIEVABLE INCREDIBLE FANTASTIC AWESOMENESS 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 🙌 👌
World famous Itchy Boots has once again recommended an outstanding riding experience. Massive thanx to this amazing team and an extraordinary racer/rider. Proper 🎩-Tip….👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Would probably have taken me a lot longer to find this if it wasn't for RevZilla and their podcast with Itchy Boots (a.k.a. Noraly). All kudos to you, Larry, for not giving up and for not having it as an option. Extremely inspirational - in all aspects of life. I'm about your age, and I know that it's not getting any easier with age. Yes, we have a certain wisdom and experience, but even though our brains still think we are 27-ish, our bodies say: Hell no! Glad I could see you not letting the body get the last word.
Wow wow and wow!!! One of the best stories of resilience I've ever seen. Biggest congratulations. And a huge thank you to Noraly "Itchy Boots" for recommending this movie
From a 61 year old that wishes I could ride again but a very bad knee, still can mountain bike, I love Moto videos and your great adventures racing Baja with your son and the iron man race are awesome, every month or two I’ll rewatch a video and escape into the Baja and be amazed by ,the suffering and staying awake for all those hours on a motorcycle, being strong enough to keep picking it up in the deep selt and not getting run over by the trophy trucks , ask your son to do a father son race again for a last race video to end the series, great video editor to put them all together, please do one more race iron man !
Those off road trucks just cause complete chaos on the tracks. They are insane. I can’t even begin to imagine how hardcore the deep bull dust would be to tackle at night time!! Plus not being able to see 1ft in front of you.
Awesome and inspirational. Thanks you for sharing with us. Thankyou Noraly "Itchy Boots" for recommended this in the RevZilla podcast. Greetings from Johannesburg South Africa. Come over and do the Kalahari desert Rally in South Africa.
Having raced cars and pre ran close to 10,000 Baja miles this is a very well done series. It is incredibly tough racing. Larry is an amazing man who shows that humans who dig deep can do way more than you think is possible. I had goose bumps and tears in my eyes as he came to the finish.
i can't like this enough; i've never wanted to see someone cross the finish line so much. yeah, silt is a BEAST & those silt beds are DEEP. congratulations to larry for killing it.
came to this channel coz of Noah Sagan video and was looking for Business Inspiration from you, little that I know I'll get a bonus of Riding and Life Inspirtation as well. love the BAJA journey and thank you very much on making the series avalaible for us. another legacy that you'll leave for every body
😂 this is crazy..,. Me to. I am currently listening to the Highside Lowside episode with Itchy Boots. And I looked up the movie and click on it so I could save it to watch later on this evening. 👍🏽😃👢🏍️🤙🏽
What a memorable year! Great video. Thank you Larry for the wonderful mentions, honored to have shared that stage with you. Bravo on such a great accomplishment!
Congratulations to you as well Liz, what an accomplishment! Not like a cookie jar full of good surprises was it?! Glad you conquered the race as much as you conquered another part of yourself. Really proud of women, seems like this century is all about you, ladies! Keep pushing, keep going, be that star that you know you are. Wow.
Well now I have a goal to do I life. I hate running but aspire to be like David goggins. This would tick that box, you’re inspirational man! Staying awake for 34 hrs is insane! Much less riding a bike!
I've been following this series from beginning. Amazing determination!! Only a year older than me and I know my body couldn't do a 1000 I've done that deep silt up to the swingarm but only about 3miles of it. Can't imagine more
I have "ridden my Baja Life" life time already, but it is so great and admirable to see your win of yourself! I was moto gp pilot earlier, but this what you do is like winning world championshiip .Congrats mate!
Watching this after Larry's son Tanner just made Baja 1000 history with his incredible finish in the 2022 Baja 1000 Ironman race! What an amazing family!
I finally had the honor to participate in the 2021 baja 500 in class 29. I drove from start to race mile 255. When I got to the starting line I thought about my family and loved ones, then when it got difficult I thought about you and your son pushing through the difficulties of Baja on motorcycle. Thank you for your video sir! Hopefully one day I’ll have the honor to shake your hand at this years baja 1000 .
watched first one today and watched all best film/true/ IRL story ive ever seen in my life. ive been riding all my life and this is my plan as father to my son we will set this as a goal. i am insired. and i have hope thank you so much for sharing your moments. i couldnt wait to get off my bike and keep watching all day. i am was a motocross racer. street bike rider. stunt rider/ wheelie master. but none of it mattered if i wasnt sharing it with my friends and family. god bless thank you for showing what so few in the world could even do.
Larry is the example of the consumate racer. Reaches out to help others when needed, but keeping his head clear and executing a meticulously made plan. He understood the challenges that his body will place yet not breaking. This is an absolutely epic race!
This is so inspiring!!! My dad is like fine sure you Can go riding but my mom hates it so much. I got a very mild concussion once do to a very unfortunate accident and she was threatening to sell my bike, this is just what I needed right now cause I sprianed my ankle and almost every thing is upside down for me. This is just what I needed thank you guys so much. I hope to do the Baja 1000 some day maybe in like 2031 or someth'n I mean I am only 14 years old so. I LOVE your guys vids plz do more vids.
Having watched all other films of this series gotta say congratulations to Larry for his tremendous commitment. It’s a fine line sometimes between determination and stubbornness. Any intelligent person will at some point second guess him or her self. In a way that’s what this race is about: refusing to quit. I appreciate that Larry surrounded himself with love from his friends and crew and shared that love with his competitors. Again congrats for the achievement and also the beautiful way you documented it.
I see it being like joining not just the military, but special forces. Months and months of physical torture. It’s only the ones that want it the most that succeed. The ones that won’t take no for an answer. Not the most physically fit, but the ones with the right attitude
Maybe the best documentary ever done on desert racing. From the rookie start 4 years earlier, to finishing and setting records at the end. What a great story and monument to the sport we all love. Cheers Larry!
I am so happy to have stumbled onto this series. As a rider/racer at an age (57) most of my friends and family say is not wise to push so hard, you sir are an inspiration to go the extra mile. I was really routing for Liz as well. To be honest I had a little tear in my eye when you finished and the bonus was you listed Liz as finished as well, thank you. Best wishes on you, your family and crew (i'm sure its one and the same).
Yes yes yes!!!!! Larry and the team finished the Baja 1000 !!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!! I was thrilled with tears watching you crossing the finishing line!!! Congratulations congratulations congratulations!!!!!!!! What an awesome experience and movie!!! Great inspiration and motivation!!! Keep it up Larry. Will be voting for you!!!! Cheers!
Larry your journey brought tears to my eyes when you finished!! I've watched the whole series. You are an amazing person and inspiration!! Congrats on finishing the Baja 1000 Ironman!!!
That was 100% freaking awesome!!! What an inspirational and motivating documentary. I've ridden Baja California the past two years (Nov '19 and Nov '20) putting on 3500 miles between the two trips. Last year we left San Diego in a steady rain and I didn't think much about it since it was 68 degrees. Several hours into our trip, l found myself shivering uncontrollably. I couldn't understand why. We were riding south into Mexico so l figured that temps would be rising. When our group stopped, l was commenting how cold l was riding through the mountains. When one of the other riders told me it was only 38 degrees up in the mountains. Thankfully one of the other riders lent me his heated vest or my ride last year would've ended after day one. As shown in your movie, TEAMWORK made the difference. God bless you Larry 🙏.
Let's just a second to appreciate that this incredible series is for free.
Yes
totally
I definitely doesn't look it!

You had a wonderful support crew and that makes all the difference. 👏 I watched this twice.
Wow. Perseverance personified sir.
Those off road trucks just cause complete chaos on the tracks. They are insane. I can’t even begin to imagine how hardcore the deep bull dust would be to tackle at night time!! Plus not being able to see 1ft in front of you.
