I can tell you from experience that anything you purchase from canik ..... You're going to get a whole lot more quality than what you pay for. There's absolutely no doubt about it.
Good, straightforward review. Took mine to the range for the first time today. Had multiple firearms to sight in so I was a little pressed for time when I shot the Canik. Loaded 5 rounds and shot them off hand at 25 yards. Keyholed 3 shots on the bullseye and total spread was under 2 inch. I looked back at my wife with an are you kidding me look? She's seen me shoot a lot. WOW was all she said. And I agree. That trigger is ridiculous.
I just bought one and test fired at the range. New favorite. Fits my hand better than the M&P, and very little recoil. The trigger pull feels less than 2 lbs. which may be too light for me.. but shoots fantastic.
I remember the guys at the gun store were out of glocks and they kept telling me,"Try the caniks, they're cheaper than glocks and have a better trigger." So I said screw it, and got one. 1000 rounds later and this is my gun. I shoot it every weekend and it has eaten everything I've shot; Winchester, cheap Remington ammo, nice Federal ammo, etc. Unbelievable performance by this handgun.
Bought one 2 weeks ago. Went to the range today. This thing is a beast! Pulled a full mag bullseye right away at 7 yards. Backed it up to 10 yards, 9 out of 10 in the head ring. Trigger reset is unreal. I gotta say, I love this pistol!
I own six of them SA, SF, Elite SC, and SFX. Incredible triggers and reset on all of the pistols. I have never had one failure to feed or fire. Round count is approximately 3500 .
I just bought my sf 3 months ago I’ve only put about 450 rounds through it so far but as someone who doesn’t have much experience with guns in general I gotta say I absolutely love it. My favorite thing about it is the trigger in my opinion it’s FAR better then any other safety trigger I’ve shot and I’m more accurate with it then any other pistol I’ve shot. I know it’s only 450 rnds but no malfunctions at all so far it’s been perfect
Yeah they are definitely worth every penny. The triggers are clones of the triggers in Walther pistols so there's really no way they could be bad. Good gun for sure. 👍
I love it for conceal carry. Just put 300 rounds through it a few weeks ago and it ate them up with no problem at all. No cleaning in between, and no remorse. I was always used to a Glock 17. Had to sell it to pay bills many years ago and went to a Taurus G2C. Just got the Canik TP9SF because I knew of the reliability of the gun and I got a great deal. So far, liking it VERY much. It's like I have my Gock 17 all over again, and it's like riding a bike when I go to the range. Everyone's body and hand size is different, as well as personal preferences. For me this Canik is perfect, so far.
Damn for concealed carry? I mean to each their own. Things a little damn big for concealed carry I mean it's a full sized handgun its.not a sub or a compact. Do you keep a 1911 in your boot as well? I'm not a little guy by any means but seems a bit excessive for concealed carry tho.
The Canik TP9 series have established a solid reputation for being reliable, accurate with amazing smooth trigger pulls and ergonomics. ALL that a fair price. Other gun manufacturers overpriced their striker-fired polymer frame handguns.
June 2022 ... Just bought a Desert color on G-B for $379 (many others). Have many options, but this will provide my primary home defensive protection. Great review ... Great shooting at 75 yds.
I've had my TP9SF for a few years now and I can't say anything bad about this gun, it has been 100%. And if there is any issues they have excellent customer service, just recently picked up the tp9 sc and it's now my carry gun.
Great review.. Detailed and simple. Ive been lookin at alot of reviews but they all seem to b 2yrs and and beyond. Thank u for this i will b fasure getting mine tomorrow!(Wednesday)
I bought my TP9SF here in Texas about a week ago at Academy for $379 plus tax. Most definitely can’t complain! Only ran one magazine through it. Cheap ammo, 2nd round tried to double feed but after clearing it and racking another it ran flawlessly. Definitely love the trigger! That reset is insane! Nice video, thanks!
I love them. Great video.... Ive got the Tp9 SFX, TP9 SC Elite and the TP9 SF Elite.... all very nice shooters. I ordered the Freedomsmith Fat Daddy Trigger for the SF Elite. You got a new subscriber! love the content.
Hi, Im interested in bot, this SF and the SF Elite. I cant seem to find anything online showing the differences. Can you detail the differences? Thanks. Appreciate your help.
@@alessiomartino6954 No worries.... I asked the same question in the beginning. The SF comes with a regular barrel and trigger, the elite comes with a match grade barrel and trigger... Deeper grooves in the barrel providing for a smoother exit for the projectile making it more accurate in the rights hands. The trigger in the elite is 4lbs vs 5.2 lbs in the SF. At the end of the day, the shooter has to do his/her job when using either.
This is my first striker fired pistol, only ever had revolvers til now. I chose the Canik for the reasons you listed, good features and accessories for the price. Personally, i found the weapon exceeded expectations. The reset means when firing at paper targets you fire in succession very very quickly. Accuracy is better than expected. And like you, i kept the stock grips, the handle is comfortable and solid. All in all, this is among the best in its price range, very happy i made the purchase as this has become my go to carry. If you are thinking about getting one, i say do it. You won't regret it
I have this exact Canik and my buddy who's a Glock fan boy made fun of me back in the day when I got mine and said it was a poor mans wannabe Glock, I liked the way it looks, feels and trigger better than the Glock 17 and I liked the case, holster, accessories that came with it and today I am proud to say I own one.
I hate people 🤣 a poor man’s Glock , why because someone didn’t want to pay a extra 120$ for a Glock that everyone has and the ergonomics are uncomfortable af ! I rather have a beretta apex a1 over a glock
I bought a tp9sf a year or 2 ago in black and I've been curious to see if anyone has any complaints yet about the gun. Looks like the gun has really started to prove itself worthy of sitting with the big boys. The only problem I've had with mine is an ejection issue that causes casings to land directly onto my arm sometimes. LOL. I'm not sure what the cause is though. However I really trust the gun every bit as much as my glock. I think as long as the company doesn't blow it, canik will really become one of the great pistol companies in the American market.
I have the tp9 elite sc and the tp9 da/sa. Both are great guns. I really like that the magazines are all interchangeable. That's why I sold my sar9, couldn't get magazines, and the Canik's have such a great trigger.
Yes good review the Canik TP9 is absolutely a very good gun. They have match chambers and this is where you can get malfunctions with certain ammo. I’m a reloader and can produce ammo that will malfunction if any slight crimp is on the case. My point is you are correct about the ammo malfunction. Well done 👍🏻
Just bought a CANIK TP9SF 380.00 dollars holster and two 18 round magazines good price considering the way the gun market is now I like the pistol because it is simple and straightforward and the magazines match up with the frame at the bottom of the grip frame which makes it easier to carry underneath a shirt or coat great video thanks.
Nice to the point review. I own 2, the TP9SA and the SF. Both have been 100% in every way. The only change I've made is to the SF, I replaced the front white dot sight with a day /night sight. I like the sight picture of the blacked out Warren tatical sight with the U notch that it comes with, I just wanted something up front that I could pick up faster in all lighting conditions.
I don't have the sf. But I do have the tp9sa mod 2 and the tp9sfl. My S.A. is my every day carry. And my sfl is a really accurately target gun. I sold the caniks and bought a Sig p320. After about a week. I sold the Sig and got my caniks back.
I took my new canik TP9SF to the range without cleaning & lubing it. The first mag fired just fine, but I noticed that the slide seemed a little gritty. The next 2 mags had issues. I had stove piping and several misfeeds. I thought, What have I done. I took it home and cleaned it thoroughly and lubed it. Not too much lube, but in the right spots. I've never had another issue with it. I have gone through about 2500 rounds without one problem. Some of my gun friends say you should clean & lube any new gun. I saw too many unboxing videos I guess. I bought a Sig P365 XL and cleaned it immediately. It hasn't malfunctioned at all, but I don't shoot it near as well as my canik. It's big and heavy and feels great in your hand. Mine is a Series One. It came with one mag and a plastic box for $278 @ Sportsmans Warehouse. I love it and will never get rid of it.
I haven't put that many rounds through mine yet. Canik is definitely a fire arm that is hitting hard above its weight class. Hopefully the price and quality will stay the same. Sig is one hell of a manufacturer to. But for the price and what you get from a Canik it could be argued that its the better gun.
I just purchased one and ordered a hogue grip with the finger grips. Absolutely love it. Accurate light shoots awesome. It's actually more accurate than my Glock. Can't go wrong with this one 👌🏽 ❤️
I just bought this Canik TP9SF in odgreen 2 days ago for $300 with tax!! Was at a gun shop and said used but looked brand new to me. Inside and out spotless! I’ve ran almost 100 rounds thu it and man does it shoot sweet! So accurate!! Trigger is great!!
Weighs 5oz more then glock 17 holds 1 more rd plus better trigger, better egos, and sights. Still take my glock 45 9mm all day before but its a hell of a great shooting gun mine is super accurate. Ran head to head with my gen 2 g17 . The canik was a one hole at 7 yards. Standing..... I was very impressed!
This is my carry gun. When i first bought it, it jammed 100 rounds straight. The spring it came with didn't like 115 grain. Got a different spring and it's never had a problem since
Got this as my first pistol ever yesterday, i am really enjoying the feel of it. I think it fires well at the range but i think the iron sights should be upgraded.
Just purchased one of these in the " gun metal grey " I haven't shot it yet but I have been seeing people having problems with the firing pins breaking, good thing is it's got a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Hey it's better than a highpoint. I think I paid $390 out the door for my canik.
@@davemaximillion5501 honestly, I'm getting old lol, I had a Springfield XD mod 2 .45 and let me tell you, I don't know if it's me or what but that's the loudest gun I had ever shot, if I have to grab a gun a .45 will be the last one I pick up because I don't want my ears to bleed before I can hear the outcome, I sold it and bought this cantik new, I also have a Glock 45 gen 5 9mm and I love it, but I can't bring myself to carry it with me because of how much it costs. Haha
Excellent and thorough review. CANIK truly and really stepped up to the plate. They gave their customers everything they would need for convenience, etc... Even in the design, high quality technology and machinery. Incredible trigger....no wonder buyer's in the US are purchasing and collecting several different models. All at an amazing price. Stay safe, Cheers
Nice presentation. A couple of things. I picked mine up to verify. I don't pull the slide at all to remove it; just pull down the tabs and it slides straight off. Maybe mine is gifted? I think your accuracy on target is exceptional. I'd think the width of the front sight is problematic past 25yds for any sort of precise work. At 75? Nope. I had handled these things over the years but never bit the bullet. A friend had picked one up and found it too large for intended use. I traded a smaller item for it that I would absolutely consider of equal quality and value. Then I took it into the woods to play. What a phenomenal gun! I own over a dozen Glocks and Sigs, each. This thing is way beyond the ticket price in value and quality.
Thank you! I appreciate it. I really enjoy shooting it. At this point I would have to say its definitely in my top 5. Definitely up there with Glock and Sig for sure.
I am from Pakistan and I own TP9 SF Elite-S, one with the trigger block safety. Had some ejection issues in the start due to lighter ammunition. Beside it, I also own Glock 19 & Sig Sauer P365X and I confirm Canik's trigger superiority over them. Very Crisp break and phenomenal lighter reset pull supplemented with fiber optics front sight by Warren.
I can't get over how much the SF looks like my DA. Externally, only the muzzle and the decocker and of course, the engravings on the weapon itself. Love my DA, and my new METE SFx. Crisp, smooth triggers, and very accurate. Canik puts out some fine arms.
I love the canik holster and especially that it comes with ... as we all know we need support gear... A mag holster would have been very nice. People say the clips are weak but I haven't seen a broken one yet. I carry iwb and I'll not look for another. Ty canik
@@davemaximillion5501 i went to a range with loaners. I shot a glock 19 a s&w shield the canik and a .38 special. I loved the canik and the glock but as the glock was higher than my budget i went with the canik and i love it bought it at academy an hour later
Just picked up my tp9sf recently for $402 out the door new and gotta say dollar for dollar it hangs with any striker fire gun I have ever shot and that trigger is just flat out great.
I just bought this model last weekend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to the range for a couple weeks. I've only heard good things about it, though
Excellent insightful review! I wonder if the Canik TP9SF, rifled barrel can safely shoot Lead Bullets? As well as the +P+ rounds like Underwood Hardcast 147 grain Truncated Flat Nose Bullets?
Thank you, I appreciate it. On the lead bullets I would say no. The barrel construction is similar if not the same as other well known guns that can't, or at least shouldn't such as Glock. As far as +P I honestly don't know. Thats a good question. I would honestly be surprised if it couldn't.
I own the TPSF Elite and the METE SFT and alternate both as my EDC. Because of the spotty availability and nosebleed pricing of ammo I've only ran a couple hundred rounds through each one and had excellent results. I tried to induce a firing problem by shooting limp wristed and even holding them in the palm of my hand against my thumb and could not produce a failure. This was with a mix of ammo. I'm only 200 rounds deep but so far they have cycled perfectly through generic and brand name FMJ and HPs of various weight. The triggers are super crisp but I wouldn't want anything lighter for EDC. They snap like a dead twig and the reset is incredibly short and tactile as demonstrated in the video. I've seen people spend $200 or more on their $700 guns for trigger jobs that weren't this good so kudos to Canik. My only dislike with Canik is the way the slide feels when charging the weapon. It feels slightly gritty like it needs cleaning and I can't tell if it's caused by the coating or the machining. It lacks the smooth, polished feel of a Sig or H&K - but it also doesn't cost as much so it's certainly not a deal breaker. Maybe I'm being picky but whatever it is I don't like it. I just wish it didn't always feel like it needs a good cleaning.
Those are really good results for sure.I don't have alot of ammunition through mine yet either. Haven't really noticed a gritty feeling. Like you said there not smooth like a Sig or HK but I'm thinking around the 1000 round mark its going to end up being pretty smooth.
@@davemaximillion5501 Thank you. I'm super pleased with the way they will eat anything I put through them and I hope the trend continues. What I've noticed in almost all reviews is that problems seem to be more common with models made before 2018. I hear Canik listens and applies improvements based on reviews, comments and general feedback. Perhaps they really are listening to improve. That would be a welcome approach to customer satisfaction in today's world of take it or leave it. The really do appear to be getting better
Late post but you don’t have to pull back on the slide to disassemble it. Pull down on both slide releases then pull the trigger and it will come off (at least mine does?). Also, I had to polish the feed ramp/chamber because it was hanging a bit every few rounds. Tried with different loads and it seemed to have the same issue no matter which load I used. After polishing it feeds reasonably better. The rail also seems a bit out of spec, maybe it’s just surefire’s mounting system though? Trigger is excellent but I’m honestly thinking of trading it in (with extra of course) for a Glock 47/45. Definitely worse factory triggers (when compared to canik that is) but I just like the customization options for Glocks! Maybe Canik has better models available now, but as far as the SF goes I’m just not impressed with this sidearm!
Thank you for your information. I appreciate it. This is the first I've heard of issues with a Canik. But of course it does happen. I have heard really good things about the Canik Elite. Glocks are definitely more customizable though. Thank you for watching.
I own many handguns. Wide variety of makes, models, and manufacturers. I own 2 caniks, this model, and the tp9sf elite. It's amazing how great these guns are for the money, compared to USA manufacturers. The triggers are the best out of the box triggers on the market, hands down. Yes, better than my hks and any other manufacturers, including my czs. Just my opinion.for the money, you just can't beat the canik line.
Hi, Im interested in both of this SF and the SF Elite. I cant seem to find anything online showing the differences. Can you detail the differences? Thanks. Appreciate your help.
@@alessiomartino6954 sure, the sf is a full size duty pistol. The sf elite is a sub compact, glock 19 size. Both have outstanding triggers right out of the box.
@davemaximillion5501 Quick suggestion, You should ask to meet up with your subscribers whenever you travel and meet them at a gun range and review their guns, too. This way, you get to review more stuff Not sure if you're big enough on youtube world to be monetized
@mynameis.....9179 Thats actually a good idea. I should get that figured out. I guess the first step would be to tell people where I'm going or ask where they live.
I will take a tp9sf over a g17 or g19. Just an unbelievably smooth gun. The grip is perfect for my hand. I get at least 25 more yards with the canik than glocks that I've shot. I havent taken a shot with a hg beyond 50yrds. But at 50yrds the caniks is just at sharp as it is at 30. The rear sights take some getting used to. But you can replace or do what I did...use white nail polish to apply dots on the back.
Just traded for one of these canik. It's basically new (load ramp to barrel aint all wore). I haven't shot it yet. Traded a gocart for it (had $250 in it) my edc has been and m&p (performance center) been wanting more mag capacity whitch the canik tp9sf has.
@@davemaximillion5501 I love this pistol. I got the all tungsten.. Looks sharp and shoots solid.. I ordered the Mete MC9 Bronze today with the Mecanik M01. keep up the good reviews..
I have had mine for almost a year. Absolutely 💯 awesome pistol! Several hundreds rounds through it. Would highly recommend for anyone new to firearms. Affordable and functional. No out of battery issues for me.
Where do I got about getting one? The gun market confuses me as i look at my local range shop website that then leads to like a buying and selling site with only certain guns being sold in different states etc
I found one of these in a pawn shop along with a subcompact version. I bought the Canick Elite SC because the full sized one trigger was hanging up on me when i dry fired it. It may just be the shape of my hand, but when I picked it up, half my attempts at pulling the trigger failed. The Elite SC have me zero trigger issues.
I’ve put roughly 1000 rounds through both the SFX and SFDA without a single malfunction. I have run 115 grain fmj and 124 grain +P. I have the Springco recoil management spring in my SFX and what little recoil there was all but disappeared.; 7-10 degrees of recoil when shooting the 124 grain.
Stoppage: What color recoil rod spring did you use and what ammo?? Blue or red?? Canik comes with stronger spring for plus p ammo. Put in a blue for a 115 grain load. Factory tested for military with plus P plus ammo. They Sell spring set for $39.00.
yeah I didn't get any of these accessories except the backstrap...I bought it from a pawn shop but the foam isn't even cut to take all these other accessories.
@@davemaximillion5501 I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with smaller hands...it's a little harder to be accurate with then my Beretta but that comes down to the size and weight of the slide. If you're on the bigger stronger side of things it's a great firearm it's just big and heavy especially fully loaded and the slide requires a lot more force to rack then some other pistols. For the price you pretty much can't beat it.
Personally I love my Canik tp9sf. I have never at this point had any failures yet mine is a little older with a different holster I wouldn't take 10 Glock's for my one Canik, the only thing I don't like about it is lack of aftermarket Mags that I know of, Promag is the only aftermarket mags and no others interchange without modifications. If somebody knows of any different mags that work with the Canik besides what I have listed, PLease Please let me KNow?
Great review I bought one three months ago and haven’t got a chance to fire it. It seems to be pretty quiet in your video, is that good editing or is it really that quiet?
Thank you, no there just as loud as any other gun. The microphone on my camera isn't the best quality so loud noises overwhelm it. They really are good guns in my opinion. The hype is real.
on sale at academy sports right now for 249.00 , not sure if you get a holster at that price ... just checked , comes with one 18 round mag at that price ....
It's actually pronounced Jănik with the "a" sound like in 'father'. The "J" is actually pronounced like a soft 'J' with almost a "ch" sound. So Chănik would be closer to the Turkish pronunciation. Of course, Americans are going to look at the spelling and say Canik that rhymes with panic. When I'm in gun stores or talking guns with other people, I forget to dumb down the pronunciation, and many people will say, "I've never heard of it". That's when I remember to rhyme it with panic so they can understand which gun I'm talking about.
Yesterday i went to Fowler Firearms here in Fort Myers FL...i had my mind set on a S&W sd9ve...especially since it was optics ready with a big cut out to add a red dot sight. The gun store guys all told me to get a Canik..Same price, superior firearm. The barrel is a little longer the the S&W and this Ruger security i also liked, but i couldnt pass up buying the Canik tp9 sf in desrt storm tan ceracoat. Listed at 429...i got it for 390..420 with tax.Crazy, i never heard of Canik until recently. Best trigger in the game like so many say. Its a lil heavy and a little big, but again, it was worth getting. It reminds me of a baby desert eagle. What can i do to upgrade the rear sight? it looks removable and theres a little groove under neath to put maybe a mini red dot? is this possible?? Thanks for the great vid.
There are sight upgrades for sure. I don't know anything about any specific types though. And as far as I know there isn't a way to mount a red dot. All in all it is a really good gun. The triggers are actually modeled off of the Walther trigger which explains why its so good. And thank you 👍
You can get a mount that goes in where the rear sights are that is an actual plate mount for a red dot. Fairly inexpensive for the mount itself, the red dot can get pricey depending on which one you get
Today is 5-30-22, I have been watching a large amount of videos on the SF elite. A few of them showed the reviewer could not shoot more then 3 or 4 rounds without a stove pipe or failure to feed problem. You did not have any problems with the SF! Also this SF had a 4.5 inch barrel. I would not and do not have anything larger than 4 inches for all 5 of my carry guns. So even tho the SF is almost a $100 cheaper then the elite it is too big of a gun for my purpose.
Yeah its probably a touch to big to be a concealed carry option. At least in my opinion. Otherwise its a great gun. Very reliable and for the price hard to beat.
@@davemaximillion5501 Good review sir, after the few bad reviews I saw this past weekend, I was glad to see a positive review on the SF.
@joshoconnor6684 I personally don't carry it concealed. I'm sure there are some that do. Its alot of fun to take to the range.

That sounds about right. I don't imagine they will stay that cheap. Not with how good they are.

Thats good to know. Customer service is an important thing if ever needed.
Great review.. Detailed and simple. Ive been lookin at alot of reviews but they all seem to b 2yrs and and beyond. Thank u for this i will b fasure getting mine tomorrow!(Wednesday)
Thank you I appreciate it.
It's been two weeks now. How do you like your new Canik?
I bought my TP9SF here in Texas about a week ago at Academy for $379 plus tax. Most definitely can’t complain! Only ran one magazine through it. Cheap ammo, 2nd round tried to double feed but after clearing it and racking another it ran flawlessly. Definitely love the trigger! That reset is insane! Nice video, thanks!
Caniks are a good gun. The company should have a bright future if they keep doing what they're doing. And thank you 👍
Did it come with a box and everything included when you bought it ?
just bought a Desert today on G-B for $379 New and Complete just too good a deal. @@bigben4159
Yes definitely, can't pass something like that up.
They’re on sale now for $279.99 should I pick one up?
I love them. Great video.... Ive got the Tp9 SFX, TP9 SC Elite and the TP9 SF Elite.... all very nice shooters. I ordered the Freedomsmith Fat Daddy Trigger for the SF Elite. You got a new subscriber! love the content.
Thank you! I appreciate it.

Literally just purchased one today on my lunch break! Hope it's as awesome as this review!
I'm sure it will be, I haven't had any issues with mine. Let me know how yours does.
@@davemaximillion5501 definitely!
That little bit of resistance is the trigger bar pushing the safety plunger up. Great video 👍
Thank you 👍
This is my first striker fired pistol, only ever had revolvers til now. You won't regret it
Yes! Exactly right 👍😎, thanks for watching.
Canik is the Glock killer!
@carlos06291960 I would definitely say it's the closest gun to ever do it at least.
Most definitely. There hard to beat! There better than Glock in alot of ways. Still not as common as Glock and not as easy to find parts either.
I hate people 🤣 a poor man’s Glock , why because someone didn’t want to pay a extra 120$ for a Glock that everyone has and the ergonomics are uncomfortable af ! I rather have a beretta apex a1 over a glock
Thanks for your review of the Canik TP9SF. I carried mine concealed carry today with an IWB holster. Did not have any problems with printing.
Thank you, I appreciate that. Are you carrying at the 3 O'clock position or appendix carry?
I'm carrying at 3 O'clock. @@davemaximillion5501
Hmm, I haven't had any issues with mine at all.
I've had mine about 2 years and it shoots as good as any other pistol I have. No negative issues, and the trigger is great!!!!
Thats good 👍 there has to be some that are good to go.
Bro i have the same problems i also have a problem of the casing going stright up and landing on my head
Its gotta be an extractor issue.
I have the tp9 elite sc and the tp9 da/sa. Both are great guns. I really like that the magazines are all interchangeable. That's why I sold my sar9, couldn't get magazines, and the Canik's have such a great trigger.
They really do, hard gun to beat!
Thank you, I appreciate it 👍
Absolutely great review, got this gun because of this review
Thank you, I appreciate it. Let me know what you think of the gun.
WOW! $380 is a steel. Good find. And thank you.
Thank you! I appreciate it. They are definitely good firearms. I would like to get my hands on the Canik Rival. Supposedly its the best one yet.
I don't have the sf. But I do have the tp9sa mod 2 and the tp9sfl.
My S.A. is my every day carry. And my sfl is a really accurately target gun.
I sold the caniks and bought a Sig p320.
After about a week. I sold the Sig and got my caniks back.
Hell yeah! Canik is hard to beat 👍
Yes on all accounts. It has Glock beat in my book. Thank you for watching.
Just ordered a tp9 SC elite. Looking forward to breaking it in at the range
J don't think you will be disappointed. Let me know what you think 👍
I'm so glad you took the time to read the writing on the box, I may not have noticed that! Other than that, great video.
Lol 😆, you are very welcome. And thank you, I appreciate it!
I bought this for my 1st firearm from Sportsman Warehouse in Altoona, PA and its a great gun. It was listed as used but clearly never fired $309
Holy shit! If you had to you could probably sell it for 500 in a year or so. Great gun.
They are great guns thats for sure 👍
Weighs 5oz more then glock 17 holds 1 more rd plus better trigger, better egos, and sights.
Still take my glock 45 9mm all day before but its a hell of a great shooting gun mine is super accurate. Ran head to head with my gen 2 g17 . The canik was a one hole at 7 yards. Standing.....
I was very impressed!
Yes definitely! Haven't had any bad experiences with mine. I don't even think I've even heard of a bad experience.
This is my carry gun. When i first bought it, it jammed 100 rounds straight. The spring it came with didn't like 115 grain. Got a different spring and it's never had a problem since
Im in love with my SF. I have shot multiple 9mm from S&W to Glocks and other brands but im in love with my SF. Turkey went all out on Canik.
They sure did. And its a good price!

Great review! Thanks! It’s on sale at academy for $279.99. I’ll pick it up!!👌🏼
Thank you, I appreciate that! Thats a really good deal for that gun. I'm surprised they aren't more expensive with how good they really are.
Got this as my first pistol ever yesterday, i am really enjoying the feel of it. I think it fires well at the range but i think the iron sights should be upgraded.
It's a good gun for sure. I know some of the other Canik models have a little bit better sights.
Just purchased one of these in the " gun metal grey " I haven't shot it yet but I have been seeing people having problems with the firing pins breaking, good thing is it's got a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Hey it's better than a highpoint. I think I paid $390 out the door for my canik.
Yes you made a solid purchase in my opinion. Canik is a hard gun to beat!
Haha
Nothing wrong with that though. Guns are not cheap these days.
Thank you! And yes I couldn't agree more. The other gun companies better pay attention or they are going to get left in the dust.
Yeah Canik has alot better trigger than glock.
I can't get over how much the SF looks like my DA. Externally, only the muzzle and the decocker and of course, the engravings on the weapon itself. Love my DA, and my new METE SFx. Crisp, smooth triggers, and very accurate. Canik puts out some fine arms.
They sure do, im looking forward to see what they do next.
Year later i have 2. Never missfired. Love em. Carry one every day. Thanks..
I love the canik holster and especially that it comes with ... as we all know we need support gear... A mag holster would have been very nice.
People say the clips are weak but I haven't seen a broken one yet.
I carry iwb and I'll not look for another.
Ty canik
It is well made for sure. Just a bit wide for my frame however. You certainly get a big bang for your buck with Canik lol.
Thanks to your video, I just bought my first gun and its the patriot brown tp9sf
Not a bad choice at all. What do you think of it?
@@davemaximillion5501 i went to a range with loaners. I shot a glock 19 a s&w shield the canik and a .38 special. I loved the canik and the glock but as the glock was higher than my budget i went with the canik and i love it bought it at academy an hour later
You definitely can't beat them for the money. Glocks are good but like you said. There a bit pricey. Especially for how simple they are.
Just picked up my tp9sf recently for $402 out the door new and gotta say dollar for dollar it hangs with any striker fire gun I have ever shot and that trigger is just flat out great.
Thats not a bad price at all. And your right its definitely up there with other high quality guns that are significantly more expensive.
I LOVE this gun! I got the Elite for $20.00 more because it is ambidextrous which I wanted as a lefty.
Definitely one of the best striker fired triggers out there! Very hard to beat!
I just bought this model last weekend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to the range for a couple weeks. I've only heard good things about it, though
I don't have any thing bad to say about my experiences with them. Hell of a gun all the way around.
Excellent review! Thanks so much for sharing
Thank you! I appreciate it.
Great review! I really liked the video!
Thank you! I appreciate that!
I have an SFX Rival Darkside and I have fired it side by side with custom glocks. The Canik is just smoother, more accurate, and has a superb trigger.
👍 Agreed
Very good vid with good accurate information. I really like my Canik!
Thank you, I appreciate it. Its a good gun.
Definitely agree 👍
I have the tp9sf elite and I love it
I want to get my hands on the all metal version canik.
No you cannot. I agree!👍

Damn! Thats a good deal. They shoot really good. Let me know what you think.
Canik really is hard to beat. If Glock continues to rest on its laurels sooner or later it will get left behind.
Love mine no complaints yet. ..except holster. Upgraded it..
Yeah, the holster isn't that great.
Just traded for one of these canik. It's basically new (load ramp to barrel aint all wore). I haven't shot it yet. Traded a gocart for it (had $250 in it) my edc has been and m&p (performance center) been wanting more mag capacity whitch the canik tp9sf has.

Where do I got about getting one?

If you have a gun store near you that would be your best bet. See what they stock. If they don't carry it see if they will order you one.
Thats odd, sounds like something was wrong with it.

Thats kind of a bummer. What do you think of the gun?

Definitely! Give it 10 more years to really catch on and I could see them out sell Glock.
Sig has mags from Mecgar that is almost identical. Not sure what model it was exactly. Just like a millimeter mod needed for mag release notch.
I'll have to look into that. Thank you.

Fairly inexpensive for the mount itself, the red dot can get pricey depending on which one you get
I have heard of that option for other guns. I didn't know you could do it for the Canik. Good info to have. Thank you 👍
Wondering if canik makes revolvers if i think they should
As of right now I'm pretty sure they don't.
@@davemaximillion5501 thanks for the update was just wondering
No problem 👍
why was he more accurate at 75 yards lmaoooo
buying this gun next week so super excited
I was taking my time instead of going fast. Its a hell of a gun. Pretty hard to beat.
@@davemaximillion5501 yessir I can't wait to put some rounds through it
Definitely, you won't want to put it down.
@@davemaximillion5501 i probably wont loll
Thank you for your reply......it's a shame we in the "gun community" have a question/comment and not get a reply. I realize how many comments you reviewers (notice I didn't say guys.......now days have to be "PC"! lol)
Yeah I run into that same problem to where I don't get a reply. My channel isn't a big one so I don't usually get very many comments. I try to make a point of replying though. I don't know anything about the elite model. I just have experience with the SF. Haven't heard of anyone having issues with it at all.
@@davemaximillion5501 I believe if you keep trying to answer your commentors your channel will grow.....it'll probably the hardest part of your content. Good luck...I'll keep reading them and hopefully you can review a SF elite one day soon.
Thank you! I appreciate it 👍
Nice review thanks!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Can somebody tell me why would he bang the slide with a live round jammed in it???? (N😔T SMART AT ALL!!!)
I went to the range yesterday set on buying anAPX, rented the APX, CZ10 C, MP 2.0 compact, Canik TP9SF, and MASADA
Still shocked at the gun I bought……………Canik, out the door for 400 including 75 in taxes, defiantly getting the APX by summer
I wouldn't mind getting an APX or a CZ P10 C. Definitely didn't go wrong with getting the Canik.
guess if your upside down being shaken by the hulk or a giant had me rollin rofl
Lol, I guess it could happen 👍
