► Pokemon Emerald has a huge glitch involving the pomeg berry, that can be used to allow you to obtain normally event exclusive Pokemon such as Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and Deoxys years after their events have ended! @@music79075 I've either had incredibly bad luck catching stuff like throwing an actual 50 timer balls in Colosseum without catching Entei. Or the most insane luck, Leaf Green, Suicune, 1 ultra ball, full hp, no sleep, done, caught it. It's either one end of the spectrum or the other.
I used this glitch to get an Eevee because it isn’t available in Emerald.

for those who dont know, try to do the cloning glitch but in reverse with the bad eggs, it will erase them from existence.
Huh, I didn't consider the cloning glitch working as you'd expect if you did it in reverse.
I remember when I first learned about the cloning glitch, they said to be careful not to deposit any important pokemon from the box while attempting the glitch because they'll get erased. It's fascinating to me that this same glitch can be used to get rid of bad eggs.
@@JoBot__ It saves the party first and then the box, so if you deposit bad eggs, it's gonna save the party without the bad eggs first and then try to save the box with the bad eggs, but you shut it down before it can do that. I wonder how precise you have to be with shutting down your device though.

This brings back so many memories. Playing emerald on the gamboy under the covers into the wee hours of the morning, when mom peeks in hiding it under the pillow and pretending to be asleep,, heart racing. Pokemon was the only good thing in life back then. Glad it's gotten a little better now.

Back when the game came out, about a month after it came out, a buddy of mine on our bus to school asked if I wanted a Jirachi. In fact, he asked MANY people if they wanted one. He would take their game back home with him and come back the next day and Jirachi would be in your party. Never would say how he did it, but it was never a glitched vers.

I had a Legit Jirachi on my Ruby Version. Had a mate who had Pokémon coliseum, and he could select either Ho-oh or Jirachi to trade to my game. I picked Jirachi. Then of course it went to emerald for some mass cloning and trading 😂 years ago

Just empty box 1 and box 2 of pokemons (and maybe the day-care) that you care about as these are the places pokemon will get corrupted. And then if you only corrupt and hold the up button for 2-5 seconds (don't go to over 10 seconds) there is no real danger to anything else. Remember to have a pokemon with fly. Maybe the pokemon contest data could get corrupted still, i'm not sure, but no one cares about those that much anyways

Last Resort, Nuzzle, Quick Attack, and Spark are physical moves that Plusle can learn.
There's an even more complex version of this glitch that let's you get the Jirachi to be able to be transferred from Emerald through Pokemon Bank to the latest games. The best part is, it can be a shiny. It's a very complicated process though and depending on what your SID is (if you want it to be shiny) and the PID of the pokemon you're corrupting the method can change. There's a great video tutorial that explains how to do the first method, but there aren't any actual videos explaining the second method for it specifically, only a bunch of separate videos that can be combined to do it plus some of the comments of those videos that you piece together. If anybody wants to know, however, I'd be glad to explain in the replies. Even if you don't know your SID you can get a Jirachi that can be transferred to the latest games.

This seems cool. I've done the gen 1 glitch to get mew and the gen 2 glitch to get all the starters (I'm sure there are cooler glitches for gen 2, but frankly I don't care since Celebi is available with virtual console anyways), but now I want to do this glitch for a jirachi or deoxys.

It's actually not that bad once you get the hang of it, I managed to glitch a Beldum holding a Safari Ball with Double Corruption (check out ChickasaurusGL for more) and I think if you glitched a Sapphire (the key item in FR/LG, not the game) you could skip the Team Rocket postgame, I need to try that out.
Edit: Oh, yeah, I managed to glitch the Acro Bike to have both bikes in my inventory. :D

@@melo7591 Oh, that’s actually pretty easy. It’s making the game confuse their dex number with their EV values. Mew is 151 in the dex, so you’d defeat 151 Whismur (there’s a whole tunnel of them, the Rusturf Tunnel) to make it to 151 HP EVs

Another interesting part of the glitch: Jirachi's egg was apparently caught in a nest ball! Before gen 6, all eggs and the Pokemon hatched from them would be in a regular Pokeball, so it should be impossible for an egg to be in a nest ball. Pretty strange since Dots isn't in a nest ball either.
Interestingly enough, I can probably explain this to an extent. If you use this glitch to throw out a pokemon that isnt hatched, you can send it out and level it up as if it is a regular pokemon, and when it hatches it will know any learned moves. I say this to explain that inside each egg is a fixed pokemon that will appear whenever you hatch it, albiet level 1 I think.
With that said, the corruption likely changed the information of the pokemon to include the nest ball within the egg, and because the way eggs are created sets the pokeball value whenever the egg is generated and not hatched, there is nothing stopping a normally impossible pokeball from appearing on a hatched pokemon, as hatching is more like an on/off switch of "can you use this pokemon now?" with the exception of numbers that change as you use the pokemon like level, experience, and actual battling stats.

You gotta do the hokie pokie, than run to the upstairs bathroom (if your house is a single story go to a friends house) that’s turn on the sink water with only cold water and the bathtub with hot water, than you lick the toilet handle. You should need to pee by now, now this is the hard part. You have to sneeze and fart while taking a piss BUT make sure you don’t close your eyes! If not you’ll have to start all over. After removing your eye balls from the wall (lmfao) turn on your DS and follow what the guy said in the video xD

Great and straight forward explanation of Glitzer Popping! Here's some feedback that will severely reduce the headache this glitch can create for newbies to the glitch: when you go to do the corruption, don't put either Dots or Pluses in slots 25-30 of box 2 as those slots do not EVER get corrupted; it is best to put Pluses in slots 13, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 23 and Dots in the slots to the right of each Pluses.
But the biggest piece of advice not mentioned in the video is to keep box 1 and 2 COMPLETELY empty when doing corruptions outside of Dots/Pluses! The glitch will corrupt anything and everything in these two boxes so put anything valuable outside of these two boxes.

Another one was if the number of rocket hit 100 you could go into space. Funny thing is, that number is actually the number of weeks you've had the save file.
Lol, the rumor I heard was that the guy next to the white rock would gift you a Jirachi if you got all the stars on your trainer card.

This is how I intend to complete the pokedex in white 2. Using jirachi to give me deoxys, jirachi, and celebi. (I have the other mythicals)

This was a fantastic guide. Just in the off chance that someone actually sees this, does anyone know if these glitched in Pokémon are hatched holding items? Like mew is apparently always supposed to be holding a lum berry when you find him in the wild, but I just wanna makes sure that mew will actually have this normal item from an egg form. Thanks!
On the substructure organizer, there's something about a item. It would probably hatch with it..

If you're planning on doing this glitch, note these 2 things:
1) If you're planning on hatching a Deoxys and a Mew, they won't obey you.
2) After a few glitches, you'll want to replace your Banette because it seems to make it much harder after a few times with the same Banette.
Apart from that, everything should work correctly after a few tries.

Thank you so absolutely very much, you Mike, along with Werster & ChickasaurusGL and even Sleipnir17 have taught me and others so much valuable information regarding the Pomeg berry glitch, duplication glitch, and so much more.
It’s because of all this knowledge and these methods I never would have dreamed of were possible, that I soon will able to finish my childhood dream of completing the generation 3 games Pokédex and becoming a Pokémon Master.
I just managed to get Jirachi even though it did take me quite a while (mostly due to my own mistakes) and I intend to get Deoxys, Mew, and Celebi.
So thank you all for your hard work.
So I’m back. I actually used a series of glitches including the pomeg glitch to get to Faraway Island, but I didn’t stop there. To pay tribute I shiny hunted Mew over this past year and today I finally found it! C: Hopefully this gives inspiration to anyone who may have any doubts throughout their endeavors.

Basically, one glitch (Pomeg glitch) became the doorway to multiple glitches, and by lots of experimenting, we ended up with Glitzer Popping

Currently, me: * mad scientist laughing * they said Mew couldn't be cloned perfectly, hence Mewtwo, but with this Pomeg Berry and some soft resetting, I have made myself an army of functional Mew clones!

Honestly, if that was a feature I wouldn’t even be mad. All these Pokémon glitches are like this crazy complicated demon summoning ritual that, if done improperly, fucks up EVERYTHING around you. I always loved that “dark arts” feeling the glitches had to them.

Just like -the simulations- real life.
I remember a strange occurence in R&S. I took a Chimeco into the Battle Tower, entered it, and it's HP was partially missing. It didn't matter if you healed, saved after healing and reset, etc. It had roughly a third missing every time. As far as I can recall, it happened on different save files too.
I now have a full team of Deoxys. Thank you for this.

@Lewis Parker i have here in my save file.I did about 6 decamarks and you're right,decamark won't crash the game by itself,unless you start to battle it.another glitch pokemon i have is "??"you can teach it moves and can use hm's.
@Lewis Parker as you can see from the vid,he doesn't attack or run because you can't attack or run with decamark.it will show has no moves left and out of usable pokemon and with run it will show can't escape and then the wild pokemon will attack you

I hate to break it to you but there's a really simple glitch in gen 1, atleast in yellow, to get mew right before gym 2 & it's really easy that even I could do it

they were accessible but just pretty damn hard to get. you have to be in a specific country during a specific period of time. in my country they used to held real life pokemon events called Pokepark back in summer 2006. it was basically a pokemon themed amusement park. and if you brought a copy of emerald the staffs would distribute Jirachi to your cartridge.
there’s also another one that gives you a sea map which allowed you to visit Faraway Island. in there you were able to catch Mew. and this Mew is such a big deal, since currently it is still the only way where a shiny one could be legally obtained.
back in the days when internet weren’t around everywhere, game companies had no choice but to be creative. i personally enjoy this way (event pokemon only available in real life events) since it just makes them so much more unique. I still have that shiny Raikou they distributed with pokemon movies - and whenever i boot up my heart gold seeing it, it just reminds me of those fond memories i had back when i was a kid.
