Love the way you can take a 1958 instrument and respect it by almost disrespecting it. 61 years ago the person who made that gutiar would have had their mind blown if they could see into the future and watch you do that with it. I hope so anyway. Nice work Lemmo.

I picked up one of these (58 strat) from a non musician who'd had it hung on his wall for decades as part of a memorabilia collection and who was unaware of the way they had appreciated in value. Paid about a twentieth of what it was worth. Intended to sell but on playing it it's become my number one. I own dinner tasty kit but every other guitar seems like a kid's toy now.

Yeah, many of the Gibsons are fine / exciting but there's just something about a well played Strat ... like some of the Hendrix tones - just the best things going.

I would hate adjusting the truss rod on that thing. Its covered on headstock, but it doesn't have the little opening by the neck pickup like the 60's ones.
Nolan R put a capo on the first fret detune ( capo holds the strings in place ) and remove neck bolts adjust. Then attach neck return. Takes 10 minutes maximum. So it's a pain in the arse but dosent take that much time really ☺

Luvin this strat , it's gorgeous and sounds fantastic , any pick up , any tuning , all over the neck , great tone , great resonance , it must be so great having access to all these classic guitars , god bless rock and roll , thanks guys.

Any nice late 50’s replacement pickups? I tried Fender custom shop 54’ and I didn’t like it and tried another custom shop a 69’s it’s alright but I’d love to know a better and a suitable pickups for a 50’s model.
Rocking Robin! Loved this segment to death. Funny that the saddles don't look intonated as they're lined up evenly...oddness.
Bill Nastali IF.. The intonation is Right It's RIGHT ! ( Usually the G is a little farther back) Also, it being run through a Uni Vibe ( or equivalent) makes it pretty hard to hear. TRY to intonate Using an Peterson Strobo Tuner... ( Without losing you're mind ! ) Norm did Great in hiring Lemmo ! He a GREAT Player W/ feel & Great ORIGINALS .( If the industry was still intact, He would be a household name.) His knowledge of Vintage guitars... Not soo much. Also.. Michael. @ Least be Straight up on what you're playing through. I've been gigging/ recording for quite a while. Lemmo gives me hope for the future of Rock ! & WHATEVER you do.. ((DON'T MENTION POLITICS)) Either side & you loose 50% of you're fans. Things in this country are beyond Preposterous !

@@wesleyalan9179 i don't think anyone said it sucks. But it sounds like a intermediate player noodling. Thats just my opinion. Lemmo is one of my favorite players but it sounded way to standard. It just didn't have that lemmo flair

You need to get Norm to spring for a Kemper or a better system to record the sound. Great playing and guitars but sound coming through is muddy a lot of the time!
I agree. That amp he uses could be better. It doesn't have to be expensive just sound better.

Well, most of them are manufactured there. What would you expect?
There’ve been a lot of ‘em on the market lately. Probably some older collectors thinning out their stashes (or dying, followed by their heirs selling off their stashes).
David Kieltyka NO ! Norm pays top dollar, & Goes for the Clean examples. & Travels to Vintage giitar shows.. There are more Fenders ( Including Vintage) WAY LESS Labor to manufacture. A Neck bolted to a body/ install pick guard W/ Electronics. Gibsons, WAY More labor. ( Even before CNC.)

Think you should of went up scale right after breaking out of first part . Down scale is OK but with your ability you could of lit it up climbing the scale with different runs . JMO . Down sounded OK but Kinda let the Air out of the Build . Do your own version , Better to lead than follow in the Dust !
