A 5.9 Db increase from inverting the subwoofer= a crazy gain! Are you sure for all the other tests, where the sub was mounted reg., that you had it wired right? The only way i feel that you could have gained 5.9 Db, with the wiring right for all tests, is because this sub, in this enclosure wanted to perform best @ 40Hz, for all tests, but you only tryed 40Hz, in the inverted set up. Doing full vol. sweeps is not a good way of doing SPL tests, its very hard on a subwoofer. Doing medium volume, like volume 25 on your deck, SPL Test Tone Burps @ 40Hz, then 45Hz, then 50Hz, then 55Hz, then 60Hz. Then what ever freq., obtained the highest Db, on lower power, use that freq., to start testing Max/Peak SPL, Like @ volume 28, @ 40Hz, then volume 29, then volume 30, then volume 31, then volume 32, i wouldn't just jump to volume 35, as this is likely past clipping!? Also between burps give the sub about 30 seconds to cool down a bit, and let your alt. charge your battery back up. This should give better, more consistent, peak results!? This way of testing has done very well for me competing over the years.
I bought four of these and I plan to wall them off in a car when I get one lol. Is 3 cubic ft per sub good for these cause I can't find no recommended enclosure specs no where?

These things really like large low tuned boxes, I was doing almost 150dB at 20hz in my truck with them on 2k each

How many watts was you running it at? Just bought this speaker and need to get a amp for it
I had a orion 3000.1dsplx amp at the time i believe, was getting roughly 2 to 3k watts. Thanks for watchin 🙌
