  • Today we grabbed ourselves a budget banger! WLLDSE HST 12. This thing get down and loud for a super budget friendly subwoofer. In my opinion it’s underrated for power and can take double the rms rating. I hope everyone enjoys this video and can get a better thought on these subs.
Subwoofer used: WLLDSE 12 inch 1200 Watt Peak Momentary Power Dual 2 Ohm Car Subwoofer, Black a.co/d/e3lDBxL
I do not own the music used in the video

It’s vented through the sides of the basket. No pole venting, but for the cost, that’s expected. Looks decent, I don’t think I could keep it alive at its power ratings though. Keep us posted. Thanks for checking it out and sharing
Also, you’ll get a copyright strike bruh… for the rascal flats song playing continuously in the demo. Probably DGAF, just letting you know, thanks again.

That version of the song was slowed so I think that’s what saving me, I try my best to find slowed versions so that doesn’t happen 😂 and I’ll forsure keep everyone posted thanks for the comment!

That sub (or at least the 15") hardly even moves with 400 watts. It's definitely underrated.

4 of them will take 1200-1500w clamped no problem. I run 4 15s in my suburban.

I wanna see your channel grow and ive changed my settings to fast forward by 20 seconds each tap instead of the normal 5 and you hit almost 40 seconds in just a intro. Cut that down and it may make a difference in engagement

Just a guess here but id guess the chuffing your hearing is caused by too large of port area. I know skar audio has this problem as well. Dont go over 12 inches of port area for skar. Id bet this abput the same. The bigger the box the more youll notice this too.

If you run the t/s parameters, it's a sealed box subwoofer with very low BL and low motor strength. I ran my 15s in 14 cubes with 14 sq inches of port area per cube tuned to 29 hz. I could play 22 hz but it lacked motor force.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find any other info on the sub then what I listed off amazon, I don’t have the equipment to exactly run my own test for the t/s parameters ect. Maybe something I will look into in the future though. For now though, it’s doing okay in the ported box and I think I’ll be able to keep it alive for a while. So far really happy with it for that price point.

Better to go with power acoustic subwoofer for a bang for ya buck. 400 rms is no power

That metallic sounds might be from it bottoming out

Had a lot more throw in it than it seems. I haven’t bottomed the sub out yet. I think it’s air coming out of the small vents they have since there’s zero pole or coil venting.
